    Thank you, Tony, for demonstrating some of the everyday sounds that have been improved upon. So far, every demo has been almost identical, regardless of country the demo originated. This is something I wanted to hear, not just the deep synth, arpeggios and piano and ep. The strings and organ sounds are fantastic.

    These are the kinds of demos that sell synths. Thanks so much for putting this up. If you were in the US I'd buy from you

    Great demos at last Tony & Steve. I know you can turn off the pulsating 'Super Knob' light, but can you also turn off the audio confirmation on touch screen selection? I'd like to think so ....

      Hi, yes - I can confirm that you can turn the beep off!

    There's actually ways to edit each string instrument to make it sound more real. I have a moxf8 and have 3 songs on my new channel that shows what this keyboard is capable of. Check it out!

    Nice demo! Just bought a Montage. Where can I find the last performance selection you both did? The one with the strings and organs. It sounds fantastic. Thanks for helping.

    Hello. I am an amateur player and i own a yamaha montage 6. I bought this because i loved the amazing sound of the montage in a lot off youtube videos. I am playing mostly with headphones plugged in the montage. The soundquality is not bad but it is not the same as in the youtubevideos (headphone is not the problem).
    Is this because of recording on pc? Are they running it throught mixer or A/I? Is this normal or are my acceptions to high?

    Parece mais uma árvore de natal... E quanto aos sons me parecem pouco agressivos!
    Ainda ficaria com o XF!

    Is the piano sample just the same as whats on the Yamaha CP4 Stage piano.

    • @bonnersmusic
      @bonnersmusic  6 лет назад

      No. The Montage's piano sounds have been recorded and created in a completely new way and also now include the Bosendorfer Imperial 290 sound. Check out more information here: uk.yamaha.com/en/products/music_production/synthesizers/montage/sound_library.html#product-tabs

    How is the velocity control for the pianos on the non-weighted action?

    • @bonnersmusic
      @bonnersmusic  8 лет назад

      Hi Reginald. The key action on the non-weighted keyboards is still very responsive - it's certainly one of the better quality feeling key actions on the current range on synth workstations. Depends on whether you need it primarily for piano playing. If so, go for the weighted keyboard. If not, the non-weighted versions are well worth considering.

    Can you do these sounds nowadays with a computer connected to keyboard or piano instead of $4000 for this?

    Why no showing of articulations , the swell or attack shown was not ground breaking...nevertheless, ok demo. I wish Yamaha would let the little people demo ....

  • @nezkeys79

    The first sound was terrible imo and so were many of the other string sounds. The solo cello was the best ive ever heard though. Accented horns were good as well. The woodwinds were good too. And that flute was cool.
    Best string sound ive ever heard is adagio strings in the kurzweill artis. Tbh the brass are probably better on the artis too. The organs are defintely better on the artis.
    Mind you i think the genos is the more modern yamaha right? Maybe that improves on this?
