I’m a XF8 guy so I’m very familiar with the soundset. I wanted to hear how it compares to the M8X. Well I must say “WOW!” The audio converter in the new Montage is way better than the original montage. ( That’s why I didn’t upgrade). Yamaha really went up the ante with this one! I’m not replacing the XF8 (have a love relationship with it) but I will definitely add the new montage to my setup. Probably the M7 or M6. Yeah! This new board is the bomb!🤨🎶🎹❤️👍🏾

I played with the Montage m8x today. Tempted to get it just after playing with all the string/orchestra sounds. 😂 even though the interface looks complicated.
The keyboard is so big and heavy.
I have a nord piano 5 so its a much simpler interface.

Hey! Two quick questions. Is the Motif XF soundset shown here, also in the Yamaha M8X? Also, is this the full Motif XF sound set? or just a "best of" collection? I can't find any info online regarding this. Thanks! :)

Hey Ben what’s the difference between motif xf > montage > montage M ???
Does it mean you have all the patches from those keyboards and you compare them ??
Where do you get all the sounds from ?
    Thank you!
    Great content !

The Montage M series keyboards have all the patches shown in the video. It's just that you're able to find them in the Montage M series keyboards with subcategories of Motif XF, Montage and Montage M.
