Those boxes are for limiting the energy, but it's better to just disable everything and limit it to 90, not 100. This is because it's just faster to use them +5 to get to 100, freeing space for armour charge bonus mods and orbs of power.
Especially intellect, that needs to be removed all together, it's a trap!
I really should stop using intellect, for some reason in my mind it actually helps but it probably doesn't.
Question -- what if I already used D2 armor picker and got 2 100 stats but I'm still working on getting triple 100, will my double 100s be canceled out as I'm still trying to get the triple ? Will my existing armor get canceled?
Just redo the process one you have more armor to choose from :)

If you're new this video might not help out right now, but the helm should be unlocked if you buy a season pass I think? To be honest I'm not 100% sure.
The helm is unlocked be default I believe, but you won’t be able to use the different vendors. Currently you can buy Season of the Wish for access to its vendor, but if you want access to the other three, you’ll need to buy the lightfall annual pass.
This is a long season, so if your want to catch up on the seasonal events and story from last year, grab the deluxe pack. And I think you'll have access to the 2 dungeons too
My only question is, is it better to have 3 stat instead of a build that has synergy? what is the benefit there?
Definitely not
A build with synergy has much more potential; if you can reach 100 resilience and good numbers on your other important stats you’re way better off than trying to reach those triple 100s
Yes I would focus on synergy, if you can get triple 100s but its like mobility, strength, and discipline and those 3 dont help your build at all, then you would be better off changing to like double 100s that DO help your build.
Mine doesn't gray out and I don't get a menu on the right side when I pick exotic
Can you link the time frame on the video of what you're mentioning?
About 7 min in where your talking about the exotic selection on the right side with all the stats mine doesnt show up and when i select the stats i want it doesnt gray then out i can click all 100 on the stats@OnionRingsGaming
I’ve never heard anyone recommend ghost mod for resilience. Intellect doesn’t really matter, strength isn’t that important unless you have a specific build, and your stats are broken into two categories with the characteristics; mobility, resilience, recovery | discipline, intellect, strength. Choosing resilience is gambling a spike in something silly like intellect. If you chose discipline intead, you’re gambling a spike in mobility, resilience, or recovery which is more useful.
I trade everything for intellect. I need more Intellect. I need more super. More super = more damage, more damage = bosses dying. Then I get killed by a screeb because I have 5 recovery. That's ok, If I have a healing grenade, I should be ok. (10 mobility while an army of Screebs chase me)
@@AtomicRun I appreciate the explanation and response. During Witchqueen they gave all supers timers and intellect doesn’t change that timer. I guess I’ll have to look into it again
Meh I was wrong, kind of. It does lower the timer, but that’s a very specific build.
@@tangodelta7809 Don't worry, I have no idea how to actually build a guardian. I just run resilience and intellect on my Warlock and Titan I started last week because I don't really know whats going on but I chose two of the safe options for myself, when I gain some more knowledge, then I can probably start moving towards what I need to do.
If you listened to the video, the reason I recommended resillience gear and intellect and even recovery, is because of mod cost. If you ned more of those for any reason, its 4 energy for a +10 where as the rest are +3, that 1 energy can mean the difference between having a mod on your armor or not.
Is intellect meta? Not really no, but when you are playing a build that spams supers, its very nice to have. Is discipline meta? Depends on the build, strand has thread of generation, warlocks have tons of ways to get grenades back, and grenade kickstart exists, so no not really.
But the point is, the options are open to what YOU want, not whats " meta ". Play the game, have fun, make some builds and experiment.
I know im too late but is there any possible way to reach triple 100 without having any dlc or battle pasa? I only own the legacy pack that comes with witch queen, beyond light, and shadowkeep
Well, its much harder and slower, but the pit of heresy dungeon final boss does drop high stat, it will guaranteed have +16 in 2 different trees, with overall of 60+, but you'll need a farming group.

whats locked? buying the engrams? as long as you have progressed that season, you should be good, its in step 1 how to do that.
to unlock the other vendors, you need to buy the annual pass, it's the only way to unlock them now
So what if you don't have season of defiance?
Do you have any of the others? They all offer high stat. Wish is best, you get wish engrams super quick.

So how do I get defiance rep if I didn’t play that season?
Should still be able to do defiant battle grounds and its story until final shape drops. If you own the season.

Yea, did you play any? Any of them work. Wish is best because it gives so many engrams. You get like 4 from a single coil run.
I can easily get 100 resilience and 100 discipline, yes D2 says I can’t? I have literally everything selected?

Go to a pc and use d2 armor picker and dim to put it on the character. Ps5 user myself

Unpopular opinion but triple 100s is useless of you don't know how to use a build. Sure it's nice to optimize your armor but not really useful when your trying to build a good class.
Nah I agree with that, double 100s but a proper build is way more efficient than triple 100s but like, the build sucks or just isn't good.
Some of us aren't PC nerds so we don't get D2 Armor picker....
You just need a laptop or something, you don't need some decked out gaming PC to do this.

I use it just about every day and have never opened it on a PC. It takes a little getting used to but once you get through the initial settings that you'll never change it gets way easier.

I have 2 stats maxed on both titan and hunter. This game is not good enough for me to grind my ass for 3 max stats
Thats fair, I did it with pretty low effort thanks to how many wish engrams they are just throwing at us this season.
2 stats maxed is plenty. 3 stat is just there for people who care enough. I have resilience and discipline maxed on hunter and resil strength for TItan. All I need.
5 minutes in and you're still talking about engrams. This did not need to be a 20 minute video.
Theres a skip function buddy, at the very beginning I told you this video was for beginners and I wanted to take my time explaining stuff. There are people who don't even know what a helm is yet.
