How to Get Triple 100 Stats with NO Fragments or Artifice Rolls | An Armor Stats Deep Dive

  • In one of my recent videos, there were a number of comments about triple 100 stat builds requiring certain fragments or maxed out artifice armor pieces. There's also always tons of questions from folks asking what armor is worthy of keeping or asking "What is a God Roll"?
    In this video, I wanted to show that you can get to triple 100 stats using literally zero fragments and no artifice rolls, while also breaking down exactly the type of armor you should be keeping if you are looking to make your own triple 100 builds!

    It is very tough to get the necessary stat spreads.
    As an ability centric builder, since Armor Mod 2.0, when powerful friends and radiant light used to give +20 mobility and strength respectively, I always went for 100 resilience, discipline, and strength while also ensuring 30 stats in mobility, recover, and intelligence on bubble Titan as to not pay a cooldown or stat penalty.
    Even with void 3.0, aspects and fragments may add stats but do not always provide build benefit.
    Getting the pieces you need is a constant grind.
    Season 13 splicer was the best time for high stat armor because the ritual activity focused on a specific stat, while your ghost mod can focus on another.
    This guarantees high spikes in 2 categories as long as they were in separate buckets.

      People should aim for high resilience first of all then discipline/recovery/mobility depending on whether it's a hunter or warlock. Most people new to the game wont have much in the way of gear to do the harder content so focus on survivability firstly.
      I still see people, even those who are not new, who ignore resilience and focus on Intelligence which seems a waste when you're in a GM. Saw a guy with 30 resil and 100 Intel and he struggled.
      I get why he thought that was a good idea - faster supers, but he didn't live long enough to get supers faster than the other two fireteam members who were alive and generating super energy by killing stuff, picking up orbs.
      You get super energy a whole host of ways so it's really not an issue.
      A sneaky way to get a boost in stats until a new player can get some right good gear is the Stasis Fragment Whisper of Hedrons -
      Freezing targets grants the following benefits for 11 seconds under the Stat Boost buff:
      • 60 Mobility, Resilience, and Recovery
      • 30? Stability
      • 15 Aim Assist
      • 20 Airborne Effectiveness
      So if you had 40 in Mobility, Resilience and Recovery, just freezing a mob will bump those stats up to 100 for 11 seconds. Whisper of Chains makes you take 40% less damage when you're close to an ice crystal.
      So if a new player wants to try some tougher tuff before they get triple 100's, there's ways around it.

    I'm wondering if it would be better to go 3x 100 stat (no exotic) vs 2x 100 (with exotic)? I find it really hard to get good stats on an exotic because you don't have the option to buy 100's of an item like you do with engrams.

    • @Crusher_53
      @Crusher_53 6 месяцев назад +2

      The exotic perk is typically more valuable than one or two extra tiers of the stat you’re wanting to get to 100. I’d recommend going for two if you absolutely have to choose. Typically though, if you focus enough armor pieces, you should be able to get triple 100s.

    • @tristanlambert658
      @tristanlambert658 6 месяцев назад

      Going by this specific videos logic, you’d set your ghost mod to discipline then. Just keep in mind that you’ll then need to put resilience and recovery armour mods on which are 4 energy each, thus leaving less room for other mods in any given build which isn’t really a worthwhile trade in most cases.

  • @tristanlambert658
    @tristanlambert658 6 месяцев назад +8

    Warlocks are the ones who get shafted here most. Warlocks will always want resilience and recovery at least but both of those stats cost 4 energy for armour mods, since they’re double dipping in the top bracket that also means they need to put their ghost mod on discipline which guarantees that they’ll need to make all of their armour mods resilience and recovery, leaving less room for other armour mods and build versatility.
    Titans really only need resilience from top bracket so then they can set their ghost mod to that while their armour mods can go to discipline and strength which both only cost 3 energy.
    Likewise for Hunters who probably want mobility and resilience from top bracket, they’d put their ghost mod onto discipline and then they can just look out for armour with higher resilience over mobility so that they can put most of their mods on mobility which is also only 3 energy.
    So generally this triple 100 stat technique works best for Titans who don’t care about 100 recovery, allowing them to optimize their mod costs between discipline and strength. But Hunters can also ideally save themselves some armour energy if they’re wiling to be more specific with their armour. Warlocks will always get fucked and need to spend the 4 energy every time due to the nature of their desired stats.

      You dont even need 100 recov on warlock tho, solar warlock always has some to get instant health ( not to mention armor mods), void has devour, and arc has its means of gaining health. In our current sandbox only resil and discipline truly matter for any warlock. From there mobility imo would be the real choice if anything, costs 3 and typically fits in the slots based on typically used mods on warlock. But recov doesnt really matter unless you run pvp

    • @tristanlambert658
      @tristanlambert658 2 месяца назад

      @@OpticSpycrab_OG right… but Warlocks specifically want recov because it governs their class ability cooldown, that was my point. Hunters usually want higher mobility, Titans have it easy since resilience is prioritized anyway, and then Warlocks usually want a high recovery. It has little to do with the actual health regen speed.

    To his point, I currently have 3 pieces of artifice armor with overall 90, 91 and 89 total stats. I currently max out at 2/10/7/6/7/5 Stat split.
