I think one of the best parts about this video is the fact that some of these builds have been a thing since Forsaken, and alot of people just completely forgot because theyre so caught up in the current big meta instead of exploring creativity.
One thing you forgot to mention was that you can stack 2x Kinetic Surge mods to increase your Golden Gun super damage during Celestial Nighthawk. This also lets you double dip into Bad Juju's damage as well since it is kinetic. NOTE: Do not put on more than 2x Kinetic Surge as anything higher will not register for benefitting super damage. Try out Mantle of Battle Harmony on Strand Warlock with Wish-Keeper. One of Wish-Keeper's drawbacks is that it has lower damage output... but with Mantle of Battle Harmony, not only do you get increased super gains, you also get free permanent uptime on Strand Surge x4 so long as you keep your super energy full. This allows Wishkeeper to do significantly more damage, lets you run a suite of 3x surges of your choice on your leg armor because you get free 4x surge from Mantle of Battle Harmony, and triple down on suspend builds with the Wanderer suspension bouncing betties you get from tangle detonations alongside consuming your grenade for 30 second of final blow suspensions as well as Threadweaver Arrows from Wish-Keeper. Wish-Keeper also will be able to slot in 20% boss/champion damage with Vorpal Weapon OR Hatchling which will always proc on suspended enemies because suspended targets' hitboxes are considered precision hits.

The 13th combo with monte carlo and kephri's sting, it does take your melee, but the bayonette kill also refunds the powered melee at the same time; so it aint a bug
I wanted to try that combo, but somehow the invis won't work for me, do you know by any chance why that may be? My understanding is that Kepris instantly triggers the smoke bomb which weakens the target (at least it should with Trapper's Ambush) and the target is killed after that, which should in turn activate the invis from Stylish Execution. But this won't happen most of the time for me, I can see the smoke bomb from Kepris being cast but won't be invisible, whether I use a normal melee or the Bayonet. Using precious scars with any incandescent weapon will light up the battlefield like a neighborhood during the Christmas holiday season with how much sun spots and restoration you'll be getting. Bows and hand cannons especially
Now while the weapon isn’t an exotic, I’ve been having a good bit of fun with Triton Vice on Hunter and the Ecliptic Distaff ritual weapon. Shooting 1 single add that is a final blow will: 1: activate Destabilising Rounds making all nearby enemies volatile. 2: THEN Triton Vice’s explosion happens when you’re Void too. This kills said volatile enemies. 3: With the number of explosions, you’ve wiped a room. 4: As the cherry on top, you’re invisible for anything that remains.
I've personally been using Verglas Curve with renewal grasps build where I constantly make endless stasis crystals which increases the recharge of the grenade so I'm constantly freezing targets and it's great in add clear as well cause shooting it near groups just destroys everything it also does a lot of damage to bosses to
@@wickedweavile4612I feel like Wish Keeper is a superior elemental Exotic bow but Verglas is still decent for sure. I just find the alternate fire ability for Wish Keeper much more potent. It also has considerably better stats iirc.
@@Sweeneh it does have it's unique ability for being more potent but in my opinion it just doesn't do the damage output like Verglas cause with Wish you need the hits or kills to build up like Verglas but when you shot out the crystals the crystals count as it's kill so you keep an endless loop going if you play it smart and constant grenades to with the fragment but both work extremely well I just wish Verglas's catalyst did a little bit more but it's perfectly understandable cause it can be very strong

To add to the 15th combo, if you use that build with Polaris in GMs, with the help of an artifact mod, Polaris essentially covers Unstop and Barrier. Shred through champs with ignitions without reloading, whilst getting crazy nade damage and energy.
For the Glaive using the block and melee attacking was already a tip I immediately figured out it when I first got the Glaive and I’ve been doing it ever since
This is an amazing video, i knew most of the combos but with a lot of them i didn know about some of the details that make them even better than i thought they were!
Great timing, I was just about to redesign all my loadouts for the remaining time of the season. I've got my loadouts organized like so: - solar / arc / void / stasis / strand - crucible / gambit / vanguard (mostly geared towards nightfalls and lost sectors) - iron banner (because iron banner gear) - raid (specifically, my highest dmg build) I like some of these a lot (like the hunter knives + onetwo + tractor + ophidia) and I'll be using those as basis for my own version. Thanks!
Wanderer is not necessary for the 12th combo. Swarmers already make threadlings apply unravel which will make kills spawn tangles. If pairing swarmers with wish-keeper the best option is weavers call + mindspun invocation, since you can simply spam perch 5 threadlings, added bonus of releasing all upon casting a rift.
I have a mothkeepers strand build, I don’t use it all the time but I swear it’s one of the most fun times you’ll ever have. It also carries in GMs. Constant overshield and blinding so you technically don’t need unstoppable as long as you have your grenade
I like Tommy's matchbook with precious scars because you can always be full in health with a fully revved Tommy's for extra damage+scorch and ignitions
I JUST got into D2. Played D1 pretty heavily back in the day. Video is MUCH appreciated. Thanks a billion. Also im SUPER happy this community isnt as toxic as the Overwatch 2 community. Ijs... 😅🙏
100% recommend Verity's Brow with Wishkeeper. Artifact mod that spawns threadings off of damaging unraveled enemies and you have an army of threadlings plus team support on boss damage. Your teammates get more grenades which only leads to spreading your unravel debuff more. You basically combo is any of the other builds that your teammates run because everyone is wanting grenades cooldowns to be as low as possible and you get a crazy strong super to back it all up.
tbh for the 9th combo you can use heat rises and phonix dive while the buff is active to proc resto x2 so you can use a spicy exotic instead like Dawn Chorus
havent done exactly rigorous testing or anything, but the new geomags and like delicate tomb or a voltshot weapon with electrostatic mind lightning surge and spark of ions makes it so that you get chaos reach just by walking through a room of ads doing the sliding melee and wiping the rest with delicate tomb. havent tested legendaries with voltshot but delicate tomb i feel like fits best since picking up an ionic trace gives essentially voltshot which by applying jolt spawns more ionic traces and the cycle continues. the issues of the build are lack of survivability on arc and ammo economy as you burn through a decent bit of special with delicate tomb but not that much of a problem when you demolish an entire room before it can deal damage to you. a nice bonus is that you can run spark of beacons if you really want and your weapon on its own can now deal with unstops with blinding explosions and overloads with jolt
A crazy Build would be, the exotic strand bow with neocrotics and this void volitile finisher with a void fusion rifle with Reservoir burst and some other perk.
Empyrean overrides Solace, the only thing Solace does it increase the initial time of gaining Radiant or Restoration, Empyrean will always cap it at 12 seconds.
I would like to add to the karnstein combo, use strand and Monte Carlo, you’ll never have to reload and strand will always be full on top of constant restoration, it takes a second to learn the timing but once you do, flawless
The mothkeepers build actually works best with strand. Tread of ascent with the fragment that gives more grenade energy means you have 3 basically instant charge nades that also apply jolt for some reason
Veritys brow also works if you run heal nades just wont have the extra dmg but it still gives the other benefits too your team and gives you faster heal nade recovery
The Ex Diris+Mothkeeper is great on Strand hunter too. Try it with Threaded Spectre, Whirling Maelstrom and the fragments Generation, Fury, Transmutation and Warding. Trust me.
The wonderer aspect is nice mainly for the suspension effect, w/ Swarmers ur threadlings unravel target meaning the kill will spawn a tangle regardless.
If you’re using Swarmers, The Wanderer is useless (aside from the suspend) since Threadlings will unravel enemies, and unraveled enemies turn into Tangles. It’s better to use that slot for something else.
