You turn the traction controll off when your having some fun on parking lots etc, you do realize that the quattro system is a constant mechanical 4 wheel drive system right?
Buffalo NY here with a ton of snow every year and I’ll say an Audi with Quattro awd is looking like my next big buy! They look so nice and fast! It’s like sport and luxury meet! Love it
@@chrisrodgers429I have a 2011 A3 quattro and never have to turn the ESP off. Traction control works really well in snow and icy conditions, behaves almost like drifting in a video game.
As someone who has lived in Minnesota my whole life and has only ever driven FWD cars with all season tires, I can tell you for certain that you do NOT need snow tires especially on an AWD car
Well I have an A4 Quattro with bridgestone potenza all seasons, and tomorrow there’s is a snow storm here in Canadá with around 23 inches of snow, I don’t have a lot of confidence on this tires but I’m going to put the Quattro to the test, if it can handle this with this crapy all seasons, I can’t imagine what it would do with proper winter tires like blizzaks or X-ice
@@bikramgrewal6757 I’m late to this comment but I didn’t get stuck, never actually during the whole winter, shocked, I even drove once to one street where the snow was at the same level as the hood of the car

Aye buff gang I’m looking at a wrx or jeep
You wont regret it
Quattro is constant 4x4. Quattro is not traction controll🤣
Today here we have witnessed a future Doug DeMuro
10 on a Doug score
Not really….
Just bout an a3 quatro. So when im driving this year in the snow keep the traction control on? What about when going up a hill in the snow?
Did you figure this out yet
@jenishsojitra898 no it hasn't snowed yet lol. I'm pretty sure you have to turn it off
@@chrisrodgers429How bout now

@@ObscureDig yea I turned mine off and put it in sport mode!! Lmao
The Quattro system doesn’t turn off lmao
Can any one tell me, in snow i have to turn off tracking?
How to activated 4 wheel drive??
Exhaust is very important for test in snow.
Thanks for putting out absolute disinformation.
quattro is not always on , only when need

You will never see quattro working with traction control ON, as electronics just cut all the power.
Yep. He's telling the opposite of what is true.
Exactly. The Quattro system works at its finest with TCS off.
From someone that understands nothing about cars, would the performance be the same on a 2018 Audi A4?
Not even close
Yes. As long as your A4 has the AWD Quattro system. The extra horsepower you get with the S4 isn’t going to make a difference in the snow.
@@zacharybeck8807 only A4 Quattro
What exhaust set up do you have
Stock
I have a felling it’s his because I think it has an exhaust
yeah but it was more fun with traction control off
I Norway only winter tires 🙋♂️
Just curious is it yours?
From that sad launch i can tell right away you don’t have winter tires. 🤡
