I know! Also, cuss words just make things TO EASY!!! They are like a cheat code for comedy. You can get easy laughs by just adding a cuss word with some comedic timing. Clean comedy is hard. But Julian has mastered it.
I've never thought of this before but it's so true!! Definitely appreciated Julian. I'm a teacher and sometimes if I have the older kids we'll sift through videos and ones like Reading a Book are awesome to show them and hilarious. Thank you!

They have these paper things with text on them. There is no screen, scrolling function or anything so you have to actually move each piece of paper over to see the next one. but sometimes the stories on them are quite good.

Just Wow Same it's so lame when they talk about it they act cool. I spend my time mostly in the library because I'm a bookworm. I hate going outside it's just horrible out there. I have WIFI but I don't use it my mom and dad use it all the time.

Hey guys I was bored and wanted a break from what was doing. So I made a story version of this. enjoy...
Three friends were in a blank room. Julian, with his laptop in front of him while texting on his phone, and Chester surfing the web on. Shane was lying on the couch watching RUclips videos. On a certain video he broke out laughing.
“Hahaha, Julian…you gotta see this.” Shane said excited.
He got up and walked toward Julian. Chester noticed and was surprised.
“Hey, 4 o’ clock!” Chester alerted Julian while pointing at Shane.
Julian turned and almost fell out of his chair by shear astonishment and surprise.
“WHOA!” Julian exclaimed regaining his balance.
Shane stopped in place standing there with great confusion.
“What are you doing?!” Julian asked Shane.
“I wanted to… sh...show you a video” Shane said in a timid whimper.
“Why didn’t you just text it to me?” Julian interrogated.
“We are sitting in the same room.” Shane said with frankly.
“But you’re not sitting” Julian barked while pointing at Shane.
“You’re doing the opposite of sitting; I don’t even remember what you call this!” Julian said becoming more and more agitated with every word.
“Stan…ding, standing is what you call.” Chester chimed.
“No, that’s not it” Julian counterpointed.
“Jogging!..!...” Chester corrected himself.
“I’m standing up” Shane clarified.
“Shane it’s the twenty first century. When are you going to learn to sit down.” Julian said with an intense glare.
Shane sat back on the couch he was laying on a while ago dejectedly. He was back to looking at his phone before he was completely seated. Once on the couch Shane seemed confused while trying to use his phone.
“Hey, is anyone else’s Wi-Fi now working?” Shane asked.
Instantly the room was filled with an intense feeling of dread.
“…what?...” Julian asked not believing the situation at hand.
Chester fiddled with his tablet trying to get a proper connection.
“It’s true, I… I’m down too.”
Julian lifted his phone close to his face checking the Wi-Fi on his phone.
“I feel so alone, no instagram, no snap chat.” Julian muttered to himself shaking all the while.
“You okay man? You don’t look to good.” Shane asked worried.
“I’M ON EDGE MAN!!! Do you know what it feels like to be on edge?!” Julian suddenly jerked at Shane.
“What are we going to do” Chester asked pathetically.
“…I don’t know…” Julian said losing the last shreds of sanity. His face was contorted in ways it shouldn’t have been his left eye was twitching uncontrollably and his unkempt beard was now frizzled with confusion.
Suddenly a knock on the window next to them snapped them out of their catatonic state. Chester opened up the blinds and windows to reveal an albino man. His calmness broke the intense atmosphere created by the lack of any connection.
“Hey guys.” He spoke easily.
“JOE!?” Chester and Julian asked at the same time.
“Beautiful day…isn’t it…” Joe spoke again with the same placid look in his face and the same calm to his voice. So calm it could chill a storm to a sweet summer breeze.
“Joe what are you doing outside?!” Julian asked with a look of pure disbelief.
Joe looked at his surroundings the nice tree with the sun beaming through the leaves, the breeze as calm and collective as his voice and the birds singing their songs.
“Well my internet is not working, so I changed my whole outlook on life. I haven’t seen sunlight since I signed up for dial up back in 96.” Joe explained while taking in the dull scenery of the room the three friends presently resided in.
“What’s it like Joe? Tell us.” Chester asked dreamy eyed, as if a spark in his soul has be ignited, looking for knowledge outside of his phone.
“It’s really great you guys.” Joe said to Chester with that same clear tone.
“I highly recommend it.” Joe said turning to Julian.
Julian ignored Joes hint striking Chester with a sharp look saying “Don’t listen to him Chester, it isn’t safe out there!”
“I’m going to do it… I’m going to go outside.” Chester stated with a clear determination, looking Julian in the eye.
“WOULD YOU LISTEN TO YOURSELF!!!” Julian shot at Chester trying to get him back to “normal” Julian now frantic wanting everything to just go back to the way things were when everyone was on their devices, connected to him.
“I am Julian, for the first time in my life” Chester said looking at Julian as if asking him to come with him.
Slowly Chester moved his chair back readying his legs for what comes next, as a bird readies its wings for flight. First his right foot came under him, then his left foot. Chester now slowly lifted his body with the support from the table to help him get up. Julian’s eyes already in a wide awe from the loss of Wi-Fi became even wider as he witnessed Chester doing the seeming impossible. Chester, now at a full stand, able to support himself on only two legs. Joe simply watch Chester with a smile of delight.
“It can’t be…your jo…j…”
“Yes, Julian…I’m jogging.” Chester exclaimed with a pride he has never felt before. He looked at his hands for the first time in a long time.
“I haven’t done this since I signed up for Hotmail.” Chester admitted to no one in particular.
“You had Hotmail” Julian now broken out of his awe by the mere fact that Chester once had a Hotmail account. Julian was now about to laugh at Chester for once having such an abomination.
“No” Chester defended himself, being broken out of the moment.
“Hey guys the internets fixed.” Shane said.
In a flash all was back to the way things have been. Chester was quick to be back on this tablet and his chair. Joe closed the blinds and windows and ran back to his room. Julian was back on his phone as if nothing has happened and Shane was lying on the couch once again. The only thing that filed the room was the sound of typing on an electronic keyboard.
Covid-19 has made this real on a whole different level.
I watch this whenever I don't have wifi.
