I just ran into these exact problems after reassembling my gauge cluster and some interior panels. The homelink garage door opener quit working, too. It was this damn fuse. Thank you.
No you are the man, someone removed the fuse which was my problem. It's working now except the high beam doesn't work,it comes on if I pull the signal light switch back towards me it will illuminate.

Idk if you still reply but when I drive my manual Z the rpm needle doesn’t go past 3k rpm(still revs higher but the gauge doesn’t go past as if it gets stuck) I also have an abs light with code p0171 and rear break lights don’t work for some reason (bulbs are changed) my main thing rn are the break lights and rpm thing
Ask for RPMs you'll probably have to take the gauge apart to fix the needle from sticking which is a really big job you can simply buy a replacement on eBay there's even some people that will adjust the mileage to your current for you ask for the brake lights have you checked all fuses mainly the fuse panel down by your left foot when driving
Check the fuse is it blown? If not you have one or both sending units bad theres a sending unit on the opposite side of the car as well for the oddly shaped fuel tank 👍
My son has an 03 350z. We were relocating cruise control switch to cent console. We were messing with wiring to do so. Got done, now speedo doesn’t work and a lot or all the warning lights are on? Any idea? Thanks

Hey brother, So I have the same issue as you but it doesnt read anything at all, even my rev and speed and fuel and coolant, the blinkers and lights too. I thought either Limp mode but no loss in power, and I can easily go more than 100 on the road. also my AC does not turn on but the radio does. The lights that are on the gauges are ABS TCS SLIP and the BATTERY LOGO. but there is no check engine light.
@@TALONATER omg sorry. its been so long, i didnt fix it, just fixed itself. and issue never happened again, but a new issue came and it was really bad. my service engine soon light shows up loses power, then i replaced the camshaft position sensors, fixed the power issue, but on 5th and 6th gear, i would get the service engine soon light,
@@nickparis50 no, it kinda fixed itself. however, search on youtube nissan ecu amplifier or something, its a white box behind your ecu controls. that might be the problem
@@Wyse-Gaming yeah I fixed mine already I had disconnected the climate control box because I broke the cord going to it. I plugged it back in and ordered a new cord for the box. All is well. Thank you for the reply though

Okay I have a similar problem I finished doing body work to my z and while I was waiting for the painters to free up some time to paint my car I figured it would be a good time to install my radio unit as my previous one was stollen. I got it all working minus the speakers, there was no sound coming from the speakers so I began stripping wires and messing with them and the painters told me to be bring the car on over and I was excited to get my car painted so I hooked up the batter started it up and drove it over to paint. As I was driving some wires touched and I heard the spark instantly the radio turned off and I later realized I have no lights in my gauge cluster and the 3 gauges on the side don’t light up either. I’ve checked all fuses and even this one from the video they’re all fine has anyone had this problem before. It’s sad after 3 years of sitting wrecked I finally fixed it but I can’t enjoy some tunes wile I drive my car 😭😂

I looked at some forums found some shit from back in 05 lol this guy said check the fuse inside the cab that’s labeled “mirror” it’s actually the acc switch that controls a lot of the lights and radio stuff it gives the constant 12v idk how I came across it but I hope someone finds this useful I see a lot of people still trying to fix this problem I had already replaced the ax module thing and it didn’t do anything

I'm not sure what you mean bro it's already grounded it sounds like you're cluster is malfunctioning just so you know you can get them Dirt Cheap on eBay and they can adjust the mileage for you
my abs module been making a buzzing a noise even when the car is off, so I would always disconnect the battery after i park. (my abs, traction control off and slip lights are on) Recently my brake light came on and i thought i was driving with the e brake up but it was down. And after driving for a while I noticed that my speedometer wasn’t working and the gauge was showing 0mph. You think replacing the abs module or speed sensor will fix it?
Man you got a whole list of things going on bro this one's a tough one but I will say that whenever I unplugged my ABS sensor just to see what was happening I lost my Speedo and I lost my breaking assist in other words I had to press on the brake pedal with both feet as hard as I could to slow down so there's a good chance if your abs is faulty that's what's causing this but I can't say for sure bro it's so hard to diagnose things through RUclips comments you know what I'm saying 👍
One odd thing on my car is that on the cluster, the TCS and ABS lights don't ever come on. When I first start the car they don't come on like they're supposed to, and when I turn TCS off the light still doesn't come on, even though traction control is actually turned off. Any suggestions on what it could be? I know the miles were rolled back so idk if that means they switched out the cluster to one that doesn't function all the way or what but that may have something to do with it.

It's just a simple fuse that I put back in once I realized it wouldn't work but when I did away with abs I cut the fuse and that is a special order from Z1 Motorsports
So I asked RUclips why I can't fill my car up past half a tank. You had top of the list suggested video. Any idea why my Z is doing this? If I trickle the gas it will slowly fill. Anything more it backs up the filler neck. Then shuts the pump off. Pls help
It's your vapor vent tube not properly venting there was a recall on that if your miles are low enough you could possibly still get it under warranty it's warranted for 15 years or 150,000 miles 👍

I have been having a problem where I turn on my headlights and one only turns on, and my tail lights don’t turn on AND my indicator don’t work sometimes it just starts blinking then turns off and you can see that in the gauge cluster as well

Yes bro honestly I thought that was common knowledge you have to have your climate control plugged in for your gauges to work I say that because if it wasn't common knowledge I would have said it in the video 👍
thatbluezguy Solved it seems that this fuse line also goes to the climate control box and from there to the Dashboard, so if anyone has this same problem and the fuse is Ok then check if your climate control box is plugged or is not damaged.
thatbluezguy turn signals work but don’t show in the cluster(left signal is worse than right). My high beam works, the trip miles don’t reset but also my gas gauge goes up and down even though I just replaced the fuel level sensor.
@@Daneil779 that's crazy the fuse should have fixed the turn signals it fixed mine and just in case you don't know there's two fuel level sensors one on each side of the tank 👍

wow that is a crazy one other than checking fuses thats new to me fyi you can score one on ebay for 100 bucks and they will adjust the milage for you 👍
sorry what I was saying was you could always take the cluster apart and see if the needle was just sticking or buy used one from eBay for a hundred bucks
@@jahon56 it's incredibly easy bro there's only like 5 screws that hold the plastic cover on and then four bolts that hold the gauge cluster on then you just unplug it and you're good to go if I look around I'm sure I have a video on it 👍
Hey with my z I’m having a problem with the gas is saying I have nothing and my temp is dropping all the way down and then will jump up to normal and my rpm drops to zero and my slip light comes on and vdc light
THATBLUEZGUY ^^^^^ I disconnected the Temperature sending unit/temp sense, so How can I test the instrumentation temp gauge in my cars dash board by itself to check if its working correctly, what do I need to do?
@@TALONATER while the car is idling the temperature gauge needle will do to the over heating H range. I have changed the thermostate, water pump. 1.) Instead of using scangauge some other repair tech told me to buy a bluetooth OBD2 adapter and download the software app to see the gauges digitally. Have you tried this method? 2.) How would you test if the water pump is working correctly, any types of test you can do? 3.) The Water pump only pumps coolant into the engine when the engine is warm NOT cold after the thermostat has OPEN. When the Thermostat is CLOSED the water pump is not pumping coolant into the engine while the engine is COLD?

I have a 1997 Ford Mustang and I'm trying to get a scanner that has a sweep mode to sweep my temperature gauge in my cluster to test/check if its working correctly as well as my Oil gauge, gas gauge. Can a ODBII scanner test each gauge separately one by one to check/test if the gauges are working correctly and not false readings?
Honestly unless there's something wrong the check engine light shouldn't be lit up anyways as for the other lights that's not necessarily a bad thing do you have everything deactivated or is a car still OEM
thatbluezguy yeah exactly, like every light turns on (brake ses high beams etc) and needles light up and work just no lights on the actual rpm and speed numbers or behind the mileage
I honestly didn't think the year mattered it'll work from years 03 to 08 also what does SEO stand for and this is to fix it without using money I don't understand why you mentioned that unless it's completely done and you need a new one you can buy one from eBay for dirt cheap 👍

Can anyone help me out? When ever I turn my car on the rpm needle is stuck around under 3k unless I bang the dash with my hand on top and sometimes that doesn't help. Anybody know how to fix it or if anyone has the same issue?
i had the same issue whenever i first swapped gauge faces and had to open the whole cluster back up and pull the needle out slightly so it didn't rub on the gauge face anymore i have a guide video to do this or you can get a used one from ebay for a hundred bucks and they can adjust the mileage to your current mileage hope this helps 👍
When i turn my ignition on both my speedo and tacho both jump up. The speedo jumps up to 10kmh tacho to 250rpms. Any idea why people its a series 2 2007 roadster
Fill my tank but guage reads empty. Also on one occasion the guage was low but was not allowed to put in more than 5 gallons before it kicked that tank was full that was a year ago and it happened again just lately

You're sure you checked all fuses in the cab and in the engine bay?

Thanks...didnt know it had a recall. I had came to that conclusion. When I looked at a replacement charcoal canister. My eyeballs went 😳 $800

Just so you know bro there are no wheel speed sensors there are only two speed sensors and there in the rear differential 👍🏻

@@jahon56 it's incredibly easy bro there's only like 5 screws that hold the plastic cover on and then four bolts that hold the gauge cluster on then you just unplug it and you're good to go if I look around I'm sure I have a video on it 👍

Hey with my z I’m having a problem with the gas is saying I have nothing and my temp is dropping all the way down and then will jump up to normal and my rpm drops to zero and my slip light comes on and vdc light

@@TALONATER while the car is idling the temperature gauge needle will do to the over heating H range.
I have changed the thermostate, water pump.
1.) Instead of using scangauge some other repair tech told me to buy a bluetooth OBD2 adapter and download the software app to see the gauges digitally. Have you tried this method?
2.) How would you test if the water pump is working correctly, any types of test you can do?
3.) The Water pump only pumps coolant into the engine when the engine is warm NOT cold after the thermostat has OPEN.
When the Thermostat is CLOSED the water pump is not pumping coolant into the engine while the engine is COLD?
@@billwilliams6338 are you tuned with uprev if so you can get the cipher diagnostics cable and check your temperature that way ?

I have a 1997 Ford Mustang and I'm trying to get a scanner that has a sweep mode to sweep my temperature gauge in my cluster to test/check if its working correctly as well as my Oil gauge, gas gauge.
Can a ODBII scanner test each gauge separately one by one to check/test if the gauges are working correctly and not false readings?

the temp gauge may just be a bad sensor, but the tcs, check eng. light, slip light, not working is weird
Honestly unless there's something wrong the check engine light shouldn't be lit up anyways as for the other lights that's not necessarily a bad thing do you have everything deactivated or is a car still OEM
None of my gauges on my 350 work the only lights that work are the air bags and the seat belt lights that’s about all that lights up.

thatbluezguy yeah exactly, like every light turns on (brake ses high beams etc) and needles light up and work just no lights on the actual rpm and speed numbers or behind the mileage

I honestly didn't think the year mattered it'll work from years 03 to 08 also what does SEO stand for and this is to fix it without using money I don't understand why you mentioned that unless it's completely done and you need a new one you can buy one from eBay for dirt cheap 👍

Can anyone help me out? When ever I turn my car on the rpm needle is stuck around under 3k unless I bang the dash with my hand on top and sometimes that doesn't help. Anybody know how to fix it or if anyone has the same issue?
i had the same issue whenever i first swapped gauge faces and had to open the whole cluster back up and pull the needle out slightly so it didn't rub on the gauge face anymore i have a guide video to do this or you can get a used one from ebay for a hundred bucks and they can adjust the mileage to your current mileage hope this helps 👍

When i turn my ignition on both my speedo and tacho both jump up.
The speedo jumps up to 10kmh tacho to 250rpms.

My digital speedo is correct but the analogue is not reads higher.

Fill my tank but guage reads empty. Also on one occasion the guage was low but was not allowed to put in more than 5 gallons before it kicked that tank was full that was a year ago and it happened again just lately
