Prepare for a journey with the Strain Hunters as they immerse themselves in Thailand's vibrant cannabis scene in Episode 3 of their Thailand Expedition. Led by - Arjan, Dust, Mr. X, and Heiko from Green House Seed Co. - this expedition is all about uncovering the hidden treasures of Thai cannabis and the recent legalisation of the plant in Thailand. Episode 3 shows the Green House Energrow cultivation facility, probably the largest in Asia. The documentary also features an interview with Interior Minister Anutin Charnvirakul of Bhumjaithai Party who pushed for the decriminalisation of cannabis in Thailand.

Arjan PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE put pressure on the UK government to legalise it, everyone here does it anyway, we can get it expensively on medical but we're fed up of feeling like criminals and having to sometimes get bad stuff off the guys that sell harder drugs. I can't legally relax in my garden with a joint, but i can drink alcohol and be loud and aggressive in the same scenario, it doesnt make sense.

Don't panic, it's happening in the background. There's too much money involved for it to be ignored. Now Germany has legalisation passed for rec and med, we should see more European countries follow suit. It's just painful waiting and unless we get a Liberal Democrat government, we in the UK will be waiting for a little while longer.

Its even more amazing being part of the blooming industry in Thailand. Truly an experience even if its nothing like Greenhouse lol.
The sheer size and scale of this facility is astonishing. Quite a few million dollars have been invested in this project, and a lot more will accrue as profit each year. Hats off to Arjan and the Greenhouse crew for pulling this off in a country where possession of a joint just a few short years ago meant serving some serious jail time.
@user-fx6gt2sn3v Sure do guerilla grow. I have a small crop out by a swamp here close to the Equator, and the harvest is for me alone since prohibition is still in force here.
It's also a good advertising strategy...especially for those who care if seeds are made outdoor with organic food...GHS already have a huge amount of genetics on their website and it use to be one of the cheapest seeds bank...not anymore...BUT I recently had 1 Persian Pie from them and it was covered with trichomes like no other plants I grew before since 97 hash maker dream...I guess all the R&D and the connections are paying...
But the Arjan Ultra Haze 2 or mango haze now that I tried early 2000 took 14 weeks almost 15...in the video they said it takes 10 weeks...🤔...never heard about an "indica" phenotype this short...I avoid haze because it takes always 12 or more weeks in reality or according to trichomes colours
And on their site pictures show exactly what you will get...
I just wish the seeds I’ve gotten from them were more viable. 2 out of 10.
@@elisabethwhetstone4420 yeah never bought anything from ghs that was of quality it's always low quality stuff or worse.. bought 5 seeds no-one germinated where I normally go with a 99% that sucked and I bought an organic lemon skunk at their shop in Amsterdam and got some bad bud that tasted like its got sprayed with chemicals..I would never again buy something there. Barneys farm for example has way way better quality seeds and weed.. there seeds for example germinate in less than 8 hours..

Watching these videos as an videographer myself, i have to say.. Wow the production on these videos are so good, the switch ups between hd and the tape camera shots, the angles etc, quality stuff.
If i had to guess i would say these are shot by someone who shoots music videos and/or skate videos aswell.

13:24 that’s actually incorrect. Purple Punch and Blackberry Kush are very good examples of this, both of them are covered in trichomes, but when you test them it’s often very low in THC. We’ve learned that there is tons of flavonoids, cannabinoids, and terpenes that are within the trichomes and it’s this synergy effect that gives us the high that we feel. A good example is high THC distillate testing at 80% THC and high quality hash testing at 40% The hash will get you MUCH higher overall. Another good example of cultivars covered in Trichomes are 1:1 (THC:CBD) strains like Gushmints CBD from Purple City Genetics in Oakland that is also covered in trichomes, but test around 14% THC and 14% CBD. Love the series guys, don’t mean to be rude. Just been doing this 20+ years and very passionate about cannabis. Grew my first white widow from Dutch Passion seeds in 2003.

It has been such a blessing to view the upkeep and growth of the cannabis industry. Stemming back from years past, this movement has not ceased, but amplified it's reach globally especially in the land of Thailand. I'm excited to see what the coming years has in store, and I am glad to witness at this moment the companionship and connections. This too helps in furthering the introduction of cannabis into the minds of those who are of users, and those who are affiliated with the cannabis plant. Perfection is not assured, but it is obtained from trial-and-error, and in this era, there are many completions and invictories that gives cannabis the title of a hero opposed to a villain.

Very enjoyable learning about the history of different strains, how crossed strains came to be, the science behind genetics making particular strains for particular areas increasing production making the plant more resilient and less needy, this wild help third world farmers so much, careful enough to protect original pure strains is brilliant and important we might need them again, smokin nearly 40yrs tryed alot including manala cream thank you all in the bluebird my favorite place in Amsterdam.❤
