誰も書かないだろうし思ったので書きます。まだyoutubeが黎明期の頃より配信という事をプロデュースし、世界のどのドラマーより優れた配信出来る自宅スタジオをコツコツ仕上げ、このミュージシャン巣籠もり時代に世界中の音楽家達と素早く対応出来る環境を整えてくださった千里パパさんにに感謝です。千里ちゃんももちろんこの上なく素晴らしいですが、パパさんの情熱と愛情がなければ我々は楽しめませんでした。医療従事者として大変な状況でしょうが、私の人生を楽しいものにしてくださったパパさんにも大変な感謝を伝えたい事と、これからも陰ながら応援させていただきます。（追伸 ： ささやかな希望としては、なんとか歌えるカエルを直して、もう一度歌わせてください。）
If you love outstanding percussion and jazz fusion, what’s not to love here? Senri is one of the very best jazz fusion percussionists on the planet. Technically phenomenal, superb timing, and damn original. She’s scary good and the old jazz masters (here or in heaven) must be smiling when they watch this.
She's so shy when she talks but so confident when playing the drums, just awesome.
I'm a fan of Senri for years and she never dissapoints !
I hope she teams up with Hiromi one day. It will be like Pele and Maradonna on the same team. Or Bird, Magic and Jordan on the dream team

drummers have to be confident when they play. you have to control the music and remain a solid and sturdy structure for it.
Most Japanese girls seem very shy and reticent - it's just the respectful manner they are brought up with. They are encouraged to be silent from their earliest days, not to offer opinions or argue with people. But Senri channels her words through her drumkit.

I really would love to see her play with Pat Metheny. I just bought the Senri Kawaguchi Triangle's Live In Yokohama 2017 DVD - cost me an arm and a leg (...so I'll never get to play to her standard now!), and it's SO worth it. I'm astonished that she looks so small and fragile, yet she handles the kit like a hurricane. So precise, and almost too fast for the camera to register. The Triangle consists of well-seasoned keyboard wiz Philippe Saisse, and the amazing Armand Sabal-Lecco on bass. Some of the tracks are very reminiscent of Pat Metheny Group's material - as is the third piece here, Longing Skyline, which is performed on the Triangle DVD.

Brochacho III - Absolutely fly af. I've watched it so many times, and it never becomes less fly.
I watched Senri play recently at Tokyo Blues Alley and she was basically drum filling across the live show tracks for 2-1/2 hours straight. Just phenomenal skill and stamina.
She plays with so much joy, so humble. What a beautiful musician. The so called A-listers could learn so much from her about technique and humanity. Transcendental performance.

@@kunstderfugue I don't think there's anything that is super direct. Senri's own website links to Amazon Japan (www.senridrums.com/discography list), although probably your own country's music retailers will stock some of her stuff. CDJapan is also good source (www.cdjapan.co.jp/person/700041461 for Senri). And of course don't forget that if you order anything from Japan at this point in time, it's likely to take longer than normal.
@@kunstderfugue If you would like to listen first, most of her albums (if not all) are on Spotify (at least, here in the Netherlands).
@@kunstderfugue I feel the same but the senridrums store doesn't deliver to England sadly. When I find an amazing new artist I want to pay to listen to their work.
The tunes on this video are gorgeous. Senri is a sensational drummer and the other musicians are excellent. Hopefully senridrums will deliver to England in the near future 🤞🏻
She's not just a drummer there is passion in her playing she feels every drum beat her drumming is so part of who she is like she was made for this. She is wow awesome just love it.
Her drumming is just the right power level. Some drummers hit way too hard, some hit too light. She’s right in the sweet spot.
When something looks so easy, you know that there is a lot of hard work behind it.

She's got the surgical precision of Chad Wackerman, the fluidity of Simon Phillips and the groove of Steve Gadd and Dennis Chambers. Such an astonishing player.
I love how her playstyle is so aggressively precise and yet has a certain free-flowing elegance to it. Its like watching a well-oiled, state of the art machinery starting up. Watching her perform always puts me in a calming trance like mood.
I’ve yet to go through her entire catalogue but everything I’ve heard so far are amazing.
Senri is UNBELIEVABLY AWESOME! She plays with such authority and confidence it almost defies description! She plays with a smile on her face which tells me she’s “in the groove BIGTIME”! I play drums and when I see and hear her play I want to take my kit to the backyard and BURN IT! JUST KIDDING! Honestly, I play at a level so far below Senri that it doesn’t even deserve mention! However, I must say that I have never been more impressed by a drummer, male or female, in my life! SENRI IS DEFINITELY INSPIRING! What a SWEETHEART!

Unbelievable groove player with fantastic technique, I have been in loads of bands where I live and have played with some great drummers(and some really rubbish ones as well), if Senri turned up we would all just go home as her standard is of Everest heights !

Some may say that there are very few others better than her ... But when Senri plays in a band ... She gets all the focus ... Her stick work is just mesmerising .. Her foot work out of this world .. This and her unassuming modest personality make her so cuptivating to watch .. Now I use Senri as a benchmark for other drummers ..

RL with only one drum part is quite interesting... Particularly enjoyed the little stick flip you threw in there.
And your English was fine, the distinction between r and l is difficult and very different to りor る etc as I'm finding in learning the Japanese pronunciation of the latter.
Still, there are musicians from whom it is impossible to get tired of very little of them.

I absolutely love the music that she chooses to play to. This is extreme entertainment at it's highest level.
She now has a permanent address, a condo, if you will, in the lofty heights where the likes of Weckl, Chambers, and Cobham dwell.

No one plays like her, and has her charisma. That other drummer you mentioned doesn't even have the same prodigy talent she does.
