She was literally born to drum. She's already one of the best drummers in the world at this young age. It defies logic that most people can practice an entire lifetime and not get nearly this advances yet here she is at the top of the food chain in terms of ability. I'm astounded by her talent.

It's kind of surreal to watch Senri perform and then there not be a surge of incredible applause at the end. It is quite refreshing in a way - sort of keeps it pure ... she plays for the joy rather than the accolade. Senri - you are a gem!
I find myself coming back to watch this video from time to time because Senri and sweet personality puts me in a great mood, and her playing is fantastic as well.
I especially love the 2nd tune. She did a great job putting in her fills and does an excellent job accompanying the solos tastefully without stepping on their feet. Great all around job.

There’s a great studio video of Flux Capacitor but watching it live in one static shot is so amazing! You can see Kuzo’s influence and also see how Akira Jimbo and Kanade Sato got their chops! Senri’s video of the Zildian Factory and the song Lover Come Back are must see videos!
Hiromi and Senri are both among the world's best jazz virtuosos. But they also need musicians who accompany them optimally. With Hiromi (who plays very melodically) these are: Antony and Simon. With Senry it is: her pianist (her father?) and bass player "Saisse". I like the bass player the best, because he not only plays technically and rhythmically perfectly, but also very melodically (melody stands for love). Senri and Hiromi in a trio: That would be an experiment, but it doesn't necessarily have to be successful. Here two induvidia meet, which differ quite strongly. Senri mostly hears acrobatic drum expressions through a well-composed arrangement that accompanies them perfectly. Hiromi shines through her creative and melodic improvisations in interaction with her fellow musicians (e.g. with Chick Corea or Michael Camilo). It is authentic art. But of course Senri can also improvise and communicate with her fellow musicians. If they don't compete against each other, but play optimally together, something unique could arise.
