Lovely to hear the music of a composer from my city in England played on one of the finest organs in France. Thank you for this!

What a fabulous video, as well as performance and recording quality of sound. With a manually controlled instrument such as this it's so wonderful to see the assistants necessarily helping to command the resources of the organ as if an extraordinary orchestra.

Wonderful performance! You will also notice something interesting in this well-done video. The registrant on the left side will occasionally pull out a stop knob and push it back in. On this organ, this is how registration changes are 'set' in the instrument. The various stop knobs are set to the next desired combination. Then, the setting knob for that division is pulled out to make that registration 'live'. It is immediately pushed back in so the the next registration can be set up. If live registration changes are desired, the setting knob is left pulled out. This was the 'state of the art' for combination actions for organs of that era and that part of the world. I'm happy to see it has not been modernized!

What an unlikely but fabulous combination of piece, organ, performer, I LOVED it! (And as always my thanks to P-F Dub-Attenti).

Bravo cher Vincent.

If you were under the experience of being such an assistant you'd be worried stiff about getting it right. The concentration necessary to keep up with such complex music and complicated piece of machinery shows appropriately on their faces. It's probably more difficult and complex than flying a 747 with repeated take-offs and landings all within 8 minutes under manual control without any automation.

It looked to me that she was engaging with her foot a preset.
