In memoriam Hervé Lussigny, who was registrant at Saint-Sulpice console from 1985 to his death in 2007, Vincent Warnier played a transcription of the Ricercar from Bach's Musical Offering during his recital, April 2017.

Interesting how he plays that piece in a "french" way. Totally different from the "German" school. But i also like it very much! Great interpretation!

Why do you play Bach so powerfull with full tuti and 32 feets. It's not the way, how to play this piece.

It's more a romantic interpretation of the piece, yes the piece is baroque in style and I prefer both types of interpretations. However, I think that this piece is very interesting in a romantic style.
