Portable monitors are a good alternative. I have a 15" 1080p one and it's a great complement to my 4k 17" laptop's display.

You can probably find them, but the screens will be 10-11", not 15+. I agree it's a bit pricey - would love to see them in the $300-350 range for these size screens 👍
That looks quite shaky, the whole setup. And I wonder if this is useful for many people;
When I use a Laptop I want to be mobile and rarely need three screens (to carry around), while at home, I use my desktop computer anyway...

It was a tad shaky with the 13" screen. Less so with the kickstand. And I can see your point too. Personally, I find it super useful for what I do, and definitely worth the extra travel bag space if I'm gone for a week or so. To each his own 👍
I can see a multi-monitor machine for people who move around a lot, both in their home/office and in planes/trains.

Very nice. I think you need a decent powerful laptop to use this, probably won't run on old laptops that don't have the graphics power.
They have lots of adapters that possibly work. You can email the company ahead of time and find out if your model will work - their support is primo!

A bit pricey, yes. The 15.6" screens are so much easier to read than the typical 12-13" that you see for not much less. Just depends on how much time you'd actually spend using them on the road. May or may not make sense depending
