- There are some things that Christian men just need to STOP doing. I'm just going to put it bluntly. Men, if you are guilty of any of these 5, I encourage you to seek God to help you stop. Many of the things that I talk about in this video are characteristics of WORLDLY men and not GODLY men.
If we want to be more like Christ, we as men need to align our character after His and ask ourselves, "Would Christ be doing this?" So, take a look at this video and let me know in the comments (if you are bold enough) which one(s) you may be struggling with at this point in your life.

Christian men need to stop cussing. That goes for me as well. When I get really angry they just fly out of my mouth. That's something I need to pray about.
I did too. It was hard to stop until or once I got born again and filled with Holy Spirit. Now it won’t even come out. God really changed me and many others I know. Just surrender your life totally and take Him seriously put Him first. Keep praying and reading Bible. It will stop.
Of all things I struggle with it is this. Working on constructions sites all day I find myself struggling with this the most. I never swear at someone, but I do find myself swearing more than I would like. I also use an unhealthy amount of sarcasm.

Stop beating up your wives.
Thank you posting. My wife recently was led by the spirit to look into my social media and dms. She found inappropriate things, likes and flirtatious comments. She then said to me, you tell yourself that you have never cheated but in God’s eyes you have committed adultery!” This broke me to the core. I have since got rid of that social media and I am taking steps to clean up everything. Pray for our marriage and for me to continue in my repentance. Thank you 🙏🏽 and to God be the glory.
May the Lord help your marriage to be strengthened in Jesus Name
What stands out to me here, is how great God is, that He gave her the understanding and grace to see those things and work through it with you. I am sure other couples outcomes have not always been the same. God is always helping us!
Good on you for speaking up. Or should I say your wife for speaking up. It would have taken more courage from your wife to step up. That shows love as she was willing to communicate. Now to be blunt. You know the path to the promised land, get your sh*t sorted and don't turn back. You have so much support on your side.

This needed to be said! Great message. As far as finding value in things/accomplishments…yes it’s a very slippery slope. Everything in this life is hanging by a thread.. so true value is in our Eternal relationship with God.

It shows he cares to change for men its harder because we get clogged up and are mind is exploding and it's hard to control it. Also, when men hit the like on racy photos it encourages that woman to keep doing what she's doing. Too many women's self worth is based on what people think of their appearance, and in the end it only builds a negative reputation, not her character or healthy self esteem.
Yes, it encourages them to wear that type of dress outside.
Even down to the profile name which can incline men to interact on your posts. Honestly, a name like “713 Eye Candy” kind of insinuates something other than Christ. Not a bash, just something to bring to light.

I can relate to when you talked about stopping porn, that stuff is poison and very dangerous, it almost killed me last year, the Lord took me through a cleansing or a deliverance as some people call it, it was ugly, now I'm completely free from porn.

There were several verses and concepts that I had to link together.
The enemy uses inaccurate preconceived notions (little thoughts that are deceptions) those thoughts become the breeding ground for believing horrible lies about ourselves and others.
The Bible Project video on 1 Corinthians. The examination of the issue, the proper view of the role of believers gathering and the recap at the end of the video.
Proverbs 9. I discovered v4 and v16 are the same words. One an invitation to spend my time with wisdom; the other, an invitation to spend my time with folly.
I can't be in both places at the same time.
Wisdom makes my heart sorrow shrink.
Folly makes my heart sorrow grow.
Ecclesiastes 11:10... I am told to remove sorrow from my heart and not to intentionally bring evil to me through my 5 senses.

@@l.a.6522 When you’re addicted to porn you’re inviting demonic oppression into your life and when God was cleansing me of porn these demons had been with me for a long time and they didn’t want to leave so this intense feeling of hopelessness saturated my soul which tormented my mind and almost caused me to take my own life. That’s why porn is so dangerous, but Jesus was with me the whole time, He wanted me to understand how sin affects the soul.

This is crazy!! I’m a personal trainer, and there are women I follow that post pics that aren’t overly sexual but boarder line. This morning a women posted a pic. I’m not attracted to her at all, so I was gonna like it to give her encouragement. But I felt convicted by the Holy Spirit not to like it. And now this video comes up! I was also delivered later today from demons of anxiety and fear which tormented me as a child. I know I’m delivered!Brothers and sisters of Christ, please keep me in your prayers!

Be it family, friends or employer, do not give in. Examine the preachers and RUclips channels you listen to and unsubscribe to the channels that do not help you in your walk with the Lord. There is no pre trib rapture. Persecution is coming. Ask if you have any questions. The body of Christ is the third temple. No building. Be careful which church you go to. Pray, Fast and read the bible as never before. No make up, earrings, lipstick, fake lashes, fake fingernails, fake hair, etc. Let the hair stay natural. No tv, worldly music. No trousers as a woman. No piercings, tattoos, chains, rings, braids. Dress properly. No shorts. Stay away from the roman catholic stuff. Repent of your sins. Ask the Lord what you have to change in your life. Regarding domestic duties - I'm a man who is a full-time housekeeper. This job wears me out like nothing else I've ever done. A brother who's even stronger than me told me something similar. Guys, if your wife is a stay-at-home mom, give her all of the domestic help you can!

One thing men often forget God gave Adam responsibility first and the woman is the "Help mate" not slave, your mother, maid etc...it's really going on as we speak with people I know personally but we just have to pray for those people.

Current streak with no porn was 14 days, broke it last night. This video came in just in time. I know the Lord is pulling me out, but even when verses come up, I still fail. I think I need to be praying more.
Fasting is key!! Fasting with repentance and prayer is the best way to be delivered!!
Keep up the good fight, brother! Stay in the word, stay in prayer, stay around your spiritual family and get into some tough ministries. Sometimes we can avoid temptation when we're too busy marching on the gates of hell.

Fasting is a great tool. One I will add is confession - is there something from your past you need to air out to God? Maybe something you and an ex-girlfriend did, or something inappropriate you said to a woman, etc. Pray about it, ask the Spirit to call to mind any sin that may need to be confessed, and then find a trusted older brother in the faith and tell him what happened.

It is very hard on us women when we see that we look nothing like the women our SOs are liking on social media. Even if we take care of our bodies, go to the gym, eat healthy, dress elegantly and neat, take good care of our hair, skin and nails, we are beautiful, but we cannot compete with extreme makeup, fake hair/nails/eyelashes, plastic surgery and Photoshop.

Very true. Feels like lies when they say, "I like you the way you are" when YOU don't look like HER.
So many celebrity pics are photos hopped. It helped me stop comparing myself because I realized a majority of pics are fake

I was guilty of most of those a couple years ago, and they all stimmed from porn and how it warped everything else. J would say too, if you're struggling with porn be mindfuln of Instagram, snap, movies, etc.. They can trick you into thinking it's not as bad.
I would say another thing we need to do is find older men to mentor us and younger men to feed into. There's a major lack of that today and in the past few decades.
Stop all television. It will stop the programming.
@Joshua Bowman Yeah there is definitely discernment that needs to be done, ex: what am I watching this for or hope to secretly see? Being honest with ourselves helps, and can make it easier to pick what to get rid of.

Jesus says if you are to lust then it would be better to cut out your eye. What if did is get rid of all my social media and went to an old prepaid flip phone for a year. It helped ten fold, I still don’t have social media.

Husband's wear your wedding band. I've heard my husband say he couldn't wear his wedding band because of his work. Wear it when your out in public around other women. Its very hurtful to a wife when she sees you not only don't wear it at work but you also don't wear it after work. and I found it disrespectful to me as his wife.
My husband cannot wear any rings or even a wristwatch to work because of the type of equipment at his job. I stopped wearing my wedding ring for a long time until recently when a man tried to talk to me & when I told him I was married, he got annoyed that I wasn’t wearing a wedding ring. So I went on Amazon & ordered a fake diamond wedding band set for $40. It actually looks realist &!very nice. I wear that now so men won’t bother me.
Eehh I get it but not wearing it a wedding band around other women is no big deal. Women won’t care either way.
I've seen men and women who do more manual jobs wear those silicone wedding rings. They are flexible and kind of popular. It seems like a good option if they can't wear metal jewelry.
It is true that some people will try to flirt with you even if you're wearing a ring but stop them in their tracks. It's better to be respectfully blunt with them from the very beginning.
Just let people know you are happily married, respect and behave yourself. Our ancestors wore no marriage bands and yet they were faithful. Whoever wants to cheat will cheat even if they wear wedding rings as huge as alloy wheels.
In some mechanical or electrical jobs it is dangerous to wear rings! As in amputated fingers or electrocution!!!😮
Yes! I’m at stay at home mom right now and I’m finding this job so much tougher than my 9-5. I’m exhausted by the end of the day just trying to keep it all together and every day there’s something that didn’t get done. Thanks for acknowledging stay at home moms because it is a thankless job that is not valued very much in society. You bust your butt all day just for hubby to come home and say, “So what y’all been doing today? Just chillin?” Ugh!
It's definitely a highly respectable job. My mom and I spent 3 days with my nephew, and even it being both of us, we were exhausted by this adorable fella and to add on my dad didn't help with anything 😩. I genuinely respect stay at home moms and moms who go to work as well.

Evil people are known for putting on the “window dressing” of faith in God, but rejecting the actual power of the Holy Spirit. They want to be seen as spiritual people, or good people but they are not truly following God.

Great message Allen. After my divorce I was constantly flirting with women at work, and pretty much everywhere to help build up my confidence within. It got so bad, I was meeting ungodly women who didn't even agree with my Holy Faith in God. I participated in this ridiculous behavior for almost two years. I even began to become sexually active with these women to please myself. Only thing is that I was still lonely and upset at my x-wife.. Eventually I felt the Holy Spirit speak to me and show me that I would never have peace doing these things.. I remember watching documentaries for atleast 3 days about people's life stories about how there former partners passed on HIV and other STD's to them .From there, I remember getting on my knees with a very long and emotional prayer asking him for forgiveness for my horrible behavior that I carried on for close to two years. I also realized that by surrounding myself with some of my old friends and co-workers who were ungodly; well that wasn't fruit full either. I give God All the Glory because he delivered me from this unfruitful behavior.🙏👍..
I got herpes from a prostitute before I finally listened to the Holy Spirit to stop. Be glad you didn't need that to happen.

Stop being weak and caving on convictions. Two of the most important things (I’m not perfect on the convictions bit).
1. Inappropriate actions with women
2. Porn
3. Passive leading
4. Misleading women
5. Finding purpose in posessions

If you have to stop liking pictures of women on social media because the pictures they post are too revealing, you’re probably better off unfollowing them altogether. Build those boundaries brothers in Christ 💪🏻

6:14 I am guilty of this, I met an awesome Christian girl a while back and we got along pretty well, I eventually mistreated her, and we don’t talk anymore. It made me really reflect on my own life, my values, and my relationship with God. If any of you are guilty of this then I advise you to stop looking for a girl and invest time into your relationship with God :)
I pray for anyone who is guilty of this, it sucks but it’s something we can all learn from!

It's very refreshing to know a guy can own up to his mistakes and actually do whatever it takes to be better. No one said it's easy, but it's not impossible.
I'm not saying that I'm a perfect Christian woman - in fact I really look forward to seeing the next video! In an old relationship I was in not that long ago it was hard for me to even talk to a guy about certain things. And it would usually have a lot to do with what was on this list. I felt very discouraged and very self-conscious and he would wonder why.

Lust is one of the devil's most powerful weapon. Lust is embedded in the flesh at at young age it's very hard to over come. Even as we are. If you live a life of sleeping around, When you marry ( for men and women) the flesh is still weak and it will be hard to change the flesh. 4 in 5 marriages end in divorce because of it. God is the only way out of the flesh culture.
It does seem to be an easy source he uses for temptation.
Lust over anything including porn are thoughts that must be cast down or it will create strongholds in your mind.

I wish this video had been around 20 years ago when I was a single college student. Guys who showed an interest in me did all these passive-aggressive games to make sure I knew they were interested, but then, when I responded to their interest, they'd pull back, and leave me confused, but then they'd build back up to being really interested and alluding to marraige, and again, when I'd respond to this, they'd deny ever being interested. It made me crazy, and really hurt. Thank you, Brother Allen, for addressing this stuff! I look forward to your next video about women.

I would also add, if you are a man and you are marriage minded, if you meet a woman and later determine she is not what you are looking for in a wife, tell her and let her go. Don't be a thief of her time and make her a miss right now until you find someone else. The longer you mislead her just to have someone for now, the longer you are keeping her from having the person that is for her.

Amen! I appreciate these encouragements and also the time to listen, reflect, and repent for the times that I have failed to be a solid Christian man in all aspects of my life.
I know some women who are putting their career or future career ahead of pursuing a healthy relationship. I'm not saying to not have the career, just don't pursue it at the expense of a healthy relationship.
#2 has been a tough one for me. Putting my job over my wife and children. I know I have been diligently working on this but this is the one I struggle with the most.

Please do NOT get v or tested or your temperature be measured. The v and tests are the mark of the beast. Ask the Lord for confirmation. Don't give in when someone forces you. Be it family, friends or employer, do not give in. Examine the preachers and RUclips channels you listen to and unsubscribe to the channels that do not help you in your walk with the Lord. There is no pre trib rapture. Persecution is coming. Ask if you have any questions. The body of Christ is the third temple. No building. Be careful which church you go to. Pray, Fast and read the bible as never before. No make up, earrings, lipstick, fake lashes, fake fingernails, fake hair, etc. Let the hair stay natural. No tv, worldly music. No trousers as a woman. No piercings, tattoos, chains, rings, braids. Dress properly. No shorts. Stay away from the roman catholic stuff. Repent of your sins. Ask the Lord what you have to change in your life. Baptism in the name of Jesus. Test the spirits. Warn others.
Or don't. But to the unmarried woman and the virgins I say, it is better that you remain so, for the unmarried is concerned with how she may please the Lord. But the married woman is concerned with how she may please her husband, and she is divided.
Very very on time word for such a time as this. I'm guilty off not valuing my wife opinions and trying to help me become a better me. I tend to compare her to a nagging women, when i know in my heart that she's absolutely got my best intentions in her heart. Thx Pastor!!!

This was really good!! Excited for the next video for women. I’ll say that I use to think I was being ridiculous or insecure for thinking that a guy liking promiscuous pictures online was a red flag and men have told me as much too. But I realized that nudge in my spirit was from God. And if a man doesn’t see anything wrong with it, then he just isn’t the man for me and that’s okay ☺️

Non disabled cannot understand the emotional suffering from rejection. But there are good, caring women out there. God cares about you inside. Don't get depressed. Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Ask for His love, power and strength.

The more men see women as an object and yes them as such, the less they aren’t going to value a relationship when they do find a good man. Having a high body count shouldn’t be directly correlated to your self esteem, and the amount of attention a woman gets for her body shouldn’t determine her self esteem.
So agree. I noticed that I couldn't be a good friend to women, or a witness to women at work. I would constantly romanticize them even though they weren't Christian. My mind is more able to be casual and friendly with girls post porn.
