It's not like you need coop to enjoy Genshin. It's primarily a single player experience so even if the community dies it wouldn't matter, like BOTW. And when you clear the story and have seen all content, you simply put the game down, that's how it's supposed to be. A fully developed Genshin Impact will be at the level of the Xenoblade games, and it'll all be free.

I think it depends on the person. I still remember some goals I had from years ago in some games. But it really just depends on how much you liked / wanted that character I guess, and on how much time you spent on the game. I'm pretty sure I'll forget about some of the characters I like soon enough, but I'm sure I'll remember getting Xiao for a long time because of how long I saved up for him and looked forward to getting him.

Funny thing is, it most likely will be as the manufacturers are gradually raising their minimum storage offering to look more advanced compared to the competition. I am 90% certain that in justa year or two, Apple will no longer manufacture any mobile devices with less than 128GB storage (not counting the watch lol), and the "storage powercreep" will only continue from there. So I am not that pessimistic about Genshin becoming out of reach for mobile players: as the players naturally upgrade to newer devices, they will very likely upgrade their storage capacity as well.
In pc I expect it to touch 80-100 GBs. I'm not complaining. After playing more than 60 popular and loved games, finally Genshin gave me the same vibes I craved. I thought I won't feel that open world and musical feeling again after Assassin's creed 2 and 4… The game is totally lovable.

Tip for people who play mobile, when new map comes, delete the game and reinstall it. Doing so will delete all the event files so you have more space for new maps

Funny thing is, it most likely will be as the manufacturers are gradually raising their minimum storage offering to look more advanced compared to the competition. I am 90% certain that in justa year or two, Apple will no longer manufacture any mobile devices with less than 128GB storage (not counting the watch lol), and the "storage powercreep" will only continue from there. So I am not that pessimistic about Genshin becoming out of reach for mobile players: as the players naturally upgrade to newer devices, they will very likely upgrade their storage capacity as well.
In pc I expect it to touch 80-100 GBs. I'm not complaining. After playing more than 60 popular and loved games, finally Genshin gave me the same vibes I craved. I thought I won't feel that open world and musical feeling again after Assassin's creed 2 and 4… The game is totally lovable.

On PS4, Genshin was 10.3GB when it first launched. After Inazuma update, it’s now at 35GB. Can’t imagine the size when the game’s finally complete.

@@katiebrice1894 60 GB = 60000 MG, if its only 200 MB it would be 0,2 GB. When I downloaded it on my iphone 6s, it said 5GB but i think mine couldnt handle it, after going to mondstat it crashed bc of dvalin cutscene. So i can only play on PC until i get a better phone.

Tip for people who play mobile, when new map comes, delete the game and reinstall it. Doing so will delete all the event files so you have more space for new maps

Can’t relate I’m sitting here with 221 GB of unused storage on my phone. I feel sorry for the people that have to constantly delete files, photos, apps, etc just so they can update the game.
the fact that i can't play in inazuma or really do inazuma commissions because im a mobile player and my phone decides to cosplay the sun while i play is just something i have to live through every day
