I love watching your videos . It's great to see hooves in such poor condition turn out to be almost show quality. I'm sure the horses appreciate what you do as well.

  • @robertshrewsbury4241

That was impressive. You remind me of the cow and dog trimmers who do comfort trims, something that in critical cases gives the animal ease and comfort. Your manner was also so calm the horse wasn't reacting. It can't be easy to stand with crippling feet. This horse may not be ridable but now can walk considerably better.

By the way, horses scare the living crap out of me, what you do is awesome. My brother had a mean Caballo de Paso when we lived in Peru and that horse did everything it could to kill me, and it wasn’t even my damn horse! I’d crack my bedroom door in the morning just to make sure that son of a bitch wasn’t waiting to kill me with a knife. Horses name was Bluebeard, Barba Azul, loved his owner, hated his brother! I tried to be nice to him but he was just hateful. I rode him once and found out that a cactus at 300 miles an hour was no bueno, never rode a horse again!

Sometimes it's simply that the owner gets very sick or dies... And the neighbors will feed and give water but don't know what else is required.
I adopted/inherited a cat from somebody dying of cancer. The owner was to sick to properly care for them. The neighbors gave food and water, but did not know or care enough to deworm, get rabies shots, or realize that the cat had dental problems.... Took around 2000 Euros in vetbills to fix all issues

They did Trail rides thru the Park for people. He boarded too. Bout everything to do with horses. I was too young to watch, and horses get spooked with too many sometimes.
