Greetings Connie! I am struggling to recover from a very emotional and mental trauma, yet I see so much that I have in common with your recovery. I used to be so immersed in my yoga and meditation practice, and I taught yoga for about 35 years. Now I can't seem to find that part of myself. My thoughts are crazy with anxiety and I seem to be in a perpetual state of grief. I hope I'm not over sharing here! Anyway, I really identify with you and I am grateful that you are sharing your journey with us. Love and blessings ♥️🙏

Thank you for your beautiful, thoughtful videos, always a joy!❤️ I’ve taken a break from social media the last three months and experience a HUGE difference in how much space I feel I have in my every day life. It has freed up so much time! Now I can hear my own thoughts again and enjoy a walk in the woods or a cup of coffee without scrolling at the same time☀️ I feel much more happy and content with where I’m at in my life🥰
    I highly recommend it!

Thank you for your videos. Like you, I also suffered a brain injury during an auto accident. My TBI caused me to forget to eat. I had to relearn eating by intaking food every few hours, if only a bite. Now, eleven years later, I do intermittent fasting, 13 hours every evening (it's all my body can handle). I can't believe how much energy I have. Keep spreading the word on staying healthy. Thank you for all you do!

Such a good video, thanks Connie. I've let go of such a lot emotionally this last year, so I'll be consolidating that and honouring, finally, my sensitivity and empathy, and letting go of people pleasing and the addictions that helped me ignore my own needs. I love your channel! 🙏💖

Hello Connie, first of all thank you for the wonderful content. I've practiced yoga and meditation for over 50 years but went astray with positive attitudes over deaths in my life.
Your content has brought me back to my original way of life. Recently I have eliminated sugar from my diet as much as possible. This has helped me shed kilos and depression effortlessly.
More positive things have happened since becoming more peaceful and positive myself. Greetings from Australia

Greetings and Hello Connie! As I mentioned in one of my comments in a previous video, I lucked across your channel some days back and I've been slowly going through your videos, so APOLOGIES for commenting on an older upload. I am a woman of routines. It took a few years to realize this about myself, but my body, mind, and soul feels much better when I execute my Morning, Evening, and Re-Set Day Routines...I like waking up 3 hours before I need to be at work to meditate, read the scriptures, listen to an informative/educational podcast, take my vitamins and maintenance medications, have a large mug of black tea with milk; and to give my home a brief tidy-up before heading out to work...My Evenings directly after work (I am a Librarian at an International American Curriculum School in The Middle East) are open to me doing whatever I feel like...It could be having dinner with friends or watching a movie or pitter-pattering around the house, but around 6:30 pm, I begin wrapping up my day with my Evening Journaling and reflections upon my day, through a short 15 minute gentle stretch bedtime yoga routine, and through a short guided meditation geared specifically for "End of Day"...By 7:30 pm, I load my diffuser with a relaxing scent, I turn off all ringers/notification bells and settle into bed with my latest book...Since I am a very early riser, most of my family, friends, and close colleagues know that I'm usually in bed by 8:00 pm...

Happy New Year. One of the most important things that have helped me with mental and physical well being, is not over scheduling social invitations or feeling that I must have something planned at all times. its exhausting and takes away from enjoying more relaxing activity.

I start my day with a large glass of warm water. And I do my deep breathing/Pranayama, chanting followed by meditation and not use my phone for 2 hours after I wake up. I am doing this for almost a year. I feel energized, calm, composed, and more importantly emotionally responsive and not reactive at all. And definitely reading some spiritual books before bed gives me deep sleep and rest. Happy to share with you.
Wish you a very happy 2022.

I enjoyed this. I love to meditate and I am careful to eat healthy and as you said , give myself grace. I am a holistic master esthetician of almost 4 decades and I help women and men to love themselves and implement many of these practices. I actually put up a video about a week ago of a Before & After from a client that changed how she felt and her skin in less than a month, naturally. Consistency and caring for yourself is so important. Also not allowing the world to tell us we are not beautiful as we age. We are!! Thank you for these reminders.
Happy New year to you and everyone here. May 2022 be the beginning of the best years yet.

You are so right about wanting to scroll on social media. Am always reaching for my phone so what I did to help was to download ebooks so everytime am tempted to reach for my phone, am opening my ebooks and reading. I have read many books this way. And for years now I have learnt to be in the moment when talking to people and putting the phone away. My Bf said it was the first thing he noticed about me when we first met, was that we talked for so long and I never reached for my phone.

I really enjoyed this thank you. I have not heard of whole food vit & minerals. They could be a good option for me because of my sensitivities.
Walking down the beach most days is a habit I have gotten into in the last year. It is easy to keep up because it makes me feel so good. I have cut out refined sugar in the last year. Also having a good breakfast with egg, toast, avocadoe & vegies every morning. In the last couple of years I started minimising my belongings which turned into simplifying my life. This has been one of the best things I have done to live a life I am happier and more at peace with.

thank you for your lovely collection of ideas. I would like to add two that work for me, both calming and fulfilling. Spending time working in the garden, I lose myself and any sense of time, connecting with nature. When the weather is not great then I have a craft area where I can sew or paper-craft, again I lose sense of time and gain a fulfilling sense of achievement. It’s even proved to slow down my heart rate!

Hi Connie! Loved your video. This year I'm working to feel calm. I'm a person that thrieves best when alone and with the unpredictability of Covid and who will be home on any given day w/o notice, causes me a great deal of anxiety. I'm a wife and mom to 2 teenage girls. I find calm in order and that is hard to come by when people are home (if you know what I mean). I recently started to Rebound again while adding in some yoga to my CrossFit routine. I find I need a mix of exercise. I'm considering adding meditation to the mix soon. I too enjoy Interm fasting. It makes me feel energized and have less brain fog. Happy New Year to you and your family! - Leslie

Sounds like you are doing a great job! My current habits align closely with yours. In an attempt to solve some health issues, I adopted a keto diet/lifestyle and began intermittent fasting nearly a year ago. In the past few months I've slowly transitioned to ketovore and am learning more about the proper human diet. Completely changing the way I think (and feel) about food and learning how to properly nourish my body has been one of the most powerful changes I've made. Thanks for sharing. Keep up the good work!

Sorry, this started well, but then you started talking nonsense about your vitamins. There are chemicals in every living thing - water (H2O) is a chemical. We are made of chemicals. Chemicals are not inherently bad.
