Why this old version and not the new mHEV version?
I have that car...1.0cc 125ps...i am very satisfied with its performance. But i have to say something!
Me and 3 friends of mine with the same car, went to the dynometer, one of the most famous here in Athens-Greece and the result was 134ps & 215Nm for each one of the 4 cars!
In the dyno the power is on the wheel in the factory the dyno is directly on the engine, so yes ford values are more corret.
I was hoping to see a higher top speed. I got the Mk 3.5 with the same engine. I did a run in the summer on the autobahn, and on premium petrol, 97 octane, I topped at 236 kph, about 146 mph. It ran 180 kph+ for 2 hours straight. No issues yet.

@@peri8728 αν θέλεις πες μου τι κατανάλωση έχεις περίπου, αν για 1000αρι έχει ικανοποιητικό γκαζάκι στην εθνική, και αν σου έχει ζητήσει τίποτα ιδιαίτερο η μηχανή 😁😁

bonjour moi dans ma focus année 2018 moteur 1l 125 ch je rajouté de temps en temps tous les 3 mois a peut prêt un p'tit rajout vraiment minime de liquide refroidissement sans me soucier ! avec les révisions faite au kilomètre préconiser. 76000 km le 26 décembre dernier je rouler tranquillement a 120 sur autoroute d'un coup!!!! ( voyant entretien en jaune ) apparu sur le tableau de bord et le compte tours c'est affolé , je me suis rabattu vite sur la bande d'arrêt d'urgence et la juste immobilisé le (voyant huile en rouge) est apparu !!!!! résultat moteur HS ,la courroie distribution a cassée . je n'étais pas au courant de ce défaut de joint de carter distribution!!! ce véhicule étant en LOA dans mon dernier mois d'utilisation Ford récupère le problème étant véhicule de reprise !!!! ALORS SI VOUS ETES PROPRIETAIRE D'UN VEHICULE AVEC CE MOTEUR A SURVEILLER !!!!!

Thanks for your comment. I'm really impressed that you noticed that the wiper moves from left to right, I noticed it during the video editing. Yes unfortunately it broke and I forgot to deactivate it. Very good analysis.
Awesome video. I have a 182 auto. Nice to drive, took a good 3000 miles though before the engine loosened up and gave it's full potential.

Brilliant Video. Is the Focus quieter than the VW Golf? I hope there's good sound proofing for comfortable driving at lower speeds. My Octavia is very loud.
Thanks for your comment 🤗. Frankly for the soundproofing the 125hp Focus is much better than the 155hp Ford Puma after I didn't test the Golf in gasoline but only in diesel to give you answers but it is slightly noisier than the Focus but it’s light now the cars of now are pretty well soundproof
I have a VW Golf and it’s pretty noisy above 30 mph or 50 kph. Could just be the tires, but it seems to be coming from the boot area

I am a bit dissapointed about the top speed. I think it is due to the low torque of the high revs. Good video btw 👍
Experiences with Focus 2013. gasoline 1.0 90kw, does the engine heat up when under load, how is it when overtaking....what are its flaws?
How 1.0 125 hp drives for long distance travels like 1200 km? What’s the consumption with speed 120? 130 km/h?

I test drove the mhev 125 it did not seem as slow as this , however it was not fast either .
He drives in eco Mode. There are 3 modes...Standard, eco and Sport...

It’s the Rev Limiter, can be removed with a remap on the car

@@vicsenlb Pretty common in most recent fords unless its the performance models like the ST which i don’t think have the soft rev limiter

I've got the 1.0 125hp and it's wonderful. For the price it's the perfect car imo.
