I thought I would comment again so now there's officially 100 comments 🙊🙈 just to say how much I truly enjoy your channel and I must have watched this video 15 times as I sit here with glue gun in hand working on a project. I absolutely love this technique. I am going to do this on a few pieces. Since every computer is different, does anyone know if that last wax she used gives it more of a stone or tan color finish? I want to do this on a few pieces but not so much in the grey undertone, more of a creamier color?

Question: you are the queen of faux finish
I want to give my dated floor tile a French cobble stone ish finish … I was thinking of smearing a white grout a cross it to see the affect that I get … that’s the only thing I could think of that would with stand floor wear and tear …. My tile is a terracotta ish pink undertone tile from the 90’s … demo is so expensive I wanted a temp fix… I thought about painting but I like this look better …. Paining and stenciling is my last option for me …

Hello! Thank you so much for being here 🤗 your floor sounds like an exciting project. My first thought would be to use floor tile paint and mix several stone colours applying them in broken layers over a base coat to create a stone effect. If you have any spare tiles or an area that can’t be seen, do some tests first. Alternatively if your existing tile is not smooth, if it has some pitting that grout could sit in, you could try applying and wiping off grout over each tile, leaving some behind to lighten the tile. Also, you could just tile straight over the existing floor… I’ve done that before! Let me know how you get on🤗
