I’ve just bought an old 600D and picked this lens up for £70 on eBay. And this video has taught me more about photography than any other RUclips video. Thank you. All the bad press about this lens really is stupid people who don’t understand physics. My big take out is shutter speed, hold it steady.
damn bro mad respect for all the photos you took, I felt like I was on the streets of London itself seeing beautiful shots been taken! Thanks for this experience:)
Another great & informative video, sir! The 75-300mm is also part of my collection but I find that without a sturdy object to stand the camera on, I always manage to get blurry shots.. 🤣 (my hands don't shake at 33 years old yet)😅😃
Is so funny how manny reviews about ignorant people or " photographers " saying this lence is crap and then compare to a 3000 lense lol. This guy here do Instead of making a video in his room , he goes out and puts all of other ignorants "photographers " down in the garbage. What an amazing work u done here my friend not only u got great shots and quality but u have so much fun with this review 😊
That's so nice, I'm pleased you liked the photos. I get a lot of joy going out and shooting and it pays off when I learn when someone enjoys what I make. Thank you for watching
Great video Nathan mate, some nice shots too I must say, not always practical for traditional Street Photos I guess but who cares, it’s about having fun. I’ve been out a couple of times with my 50-230mm on my Fuji Xt3 after watching Curtis Padley use his 70-200 or 300, can’t quite remember, having that extra 20/25mm at the wider end really does make a difference. Good to see you back on here too, keep them coming mate.
I got one of these lenses when I bought my Canon T7i Rebel, and I never used it. I went out with it yesterday, and it was a disaster! All but one of my shots was really blurry. I'm doing research now to see what I did wrong, and I'm realizing that camera shake and lighting are two really but issues with it. Your video was really helpful, and it was fun following you around to some of my favorite parts of London. I also really liked the way you used things on the street as makeshift tripods.
Hi Liz, thank you for this comment. Yeah it's a bit of a funky lens handheld so finding placing on things to rest it can really help. Hope you come along for another walk with me soon. Good shooting 👍
I actually use this lens for candid/street photography, and will also use it for the upcoming photography comeptition. But i want to know from other photographers here who also use this lens if it is still good to use for the photography contest? Also, any tips to have great picture with this lens?
I really like this lens and how sharp the pics are from it. I really should use it more. The most important tool to get the best pictures is to reduce shake, so a tripod or to rest your arms on something
Wonderful video! I'm confused between this lens and the Sigma 105mm f/2.8 for my 250d. Aiming for pics rather than vids, sreet photography exactly like your shots in here, but also close up items like cups of coffee, plants etc... and portraits. Which would work more for all?
Thank you, I guess my best answer is that it's what you like best. I don't use this lens often but it's great for grabbing long shorts. If you are looking for different focal length you would be better off adding to your kit but my go to lens is 50m

And thank you for this wonderful comment, true this lens isn't for everyone and I only use it occasionally . All the best going forward

Yeah, a tripod is a must next time but I did find with keeping the shutter over 250 worked very well
Why you don't have more subscribers than you do absolutely baffles me !

My 55 _ 250mm is my absolute favorite lens for anything.
That's a nice lens 👌
I have recently bought this lens with a camera, hope to do something like this in Manchester! But, what you've done here is so beautiful ❤
I really appreciate this thank you. Hope you have as much fun with it as I did 🤟
I've just bought this lens. It will arrive on Monday. I'm quite excited to try it out 😅
It's a very good lens, I'm sure you will get some great shots with it
awesome!!
Thank you 👍
Yes brilliant shots.
I also have this lens, but hardly use it for street photography.
It was so much fun but not for every time lol
I’m a new sub and great video … it would be helpful for you to put the settings you used on the photos like (Aperture/ISO, etc.)
Hi, and welcome. This was something I was thinking about doing in future videos

Did enjoy the video and subscribed. The wife just bought this lens for me in a bundle kit to try on my M50, looking forward to trying it out…
Thank you and welcome, I know you will have a great time using this lens
I use this lens on my M50 together with a speed booster and have no problems....dave

That's very nice of you, thank you

Buenos fotos
Why thank you 👌
Is there alot of chromatic aberration before editing the photos? Would like to see the originals.
Not with this lens, it's one of the best zooms out there

Hey, could you tell me the exact name of this lens? It seems like a lens I would use myself. Thanks.
If you search for Canon EF 75-300mm you should find it 👌
What camera you have ?
