omg that lady from Anastasia is my favorite - that reference was CHOICE also have you considering hide birdcages behind trees to get chirping bird noises? it definitely makes natural themed areas seem more woodsy.
A fun thing I discovered while messing around with sets on Harv's island is the Studio Spotlight and Stage Lights items. They both are all black so blend into shadows easily, and then project a large area of coloured light in front of them. The Studio Sportlight is 1x1 and projects light downwards a few squares away from it. And the Stage Lights are 2x1 projecting multiple colours upwards. They can be layered to make a specific spot brighter or a specific mixed tone. I think the Studio spotlights would work well in the city to highlight features where the robots are and can be partially hidden behind cliffs, but are also the electronics vibe. You could use the Stage Lights to highlight a wall like a billboard. messing around with placement is going to be a pain though. Hope this helps
Hiii 💚 I think the one boxy thing is the actual meter and the round dials are gauges. Maybe. Old art school sculpture class memory. Thank you for the city island inspiration! I just spent a week digging hundreds of flowers out to build my first urban neighborhood.
this island is genuinely so sick-- youve done an amazing job at making an island that very much draws from Stray but still putting your own touch on everything. Also i thought another cool item would be the leaf campfire(maybe in the slums)?
I think you should try dragon quest builders 2 if you haven't yet. it's kinda minecrafty but it's not survival, it's focused around building and combat but after completing the main story, you can build as much as you want on your island and I think you'd like that aspect. it's one of my personal favorite games. :3 edit: I will say that I wish builders had the fun decorative items that something like animal crossing or the sims has but it's more like block building over decoration.
Downloading stuff on a modded switch doesnt spund like a good idea Hope ypu dont get your console banned, i use 90dns 24/7 because i dont wanna risk it
