Hold up. If you haven't paid attention to actual real life car news than you don't know that THIS IS A FREAKING GTLM CAR, AND BEHAVES LIKE ONE ON TRACK. This thing took down the mighty McLaren 720 S and destroyed that 718 GT4RS by two seconds at lightning lap with the Z07 package. It is also the fifth fastest car EVER tested by car and driver. A Ferrari Tributo IS NO MATCH for the mighty C8Z06 on ANY track. Remember that GTLM OR GTE class sits above GT3 class like Porsche cars that make the headlines. The chassis tuning takes down carbon tub cars ALL the time in the environment it was designed for. When these cars hit the racetrack after warranty, records will fall with track modded Z06s all across the country and EUROPE 100% guaranteed. Thats pretty much WHAT YOU ARE BUYING with a Z06.

As a man that has spent a little bit of time in 458 Spider, and sat in a LT3 Stingray at a dealership. They are just nice on the interior. Maybe the 458 has a bit better built quality, but the C8 seems like it was more comfortable. Keep in mind I don't have much time the c8 and the 458 I was in we cruzing on back roads for about a hour. 🤷

Nice video,C8 as with all Corvettes you get a lot a perfomance that you can daily drive for the $$dollar. Checkout C4 ZR1 "LT5" when you get a chance.

Quality content. Just one thing to mention is that HDR is really frustrating to watch and is kinda broken on youtube. My Macbook screen suddenly blasts me with light.
The vlog type shots when you are in the car are especially blinding with the light coming from the window

I think there's going to be a halt in this whole EV push. I think we're going to see a longer phase of hybrids first before they reintroduce the idea of going all electric. With that said, having a hybrid corvette in the C9 would be pretty sweet since there are multiple variants of the LT engine are still underway so we didn't see the end of it yet. The new DOHC engine the LT3 might find it's way into one of the variants of the C8, if there is a grand sport but if not, we shall see it with a hybrid system in the C9. I don't think the entire C9 gen will be full EV. That said i do own a C8 z06 and this video, nor any video does the car justice. The car is simply magical once you drive it. It is completely difficult to explain in words. Only the experience can make one understand.

Biggest gripe I have with the C8 is the stupid square steering wheel.
It's certainly not for everyone. I've gotten used to it though!

The base stingray is still one of the most attention grabbing sports cars on road today.

@CarswithMiles Corvette is a sports car...never a supercar.
Corvette was known for making sports cars. And they've now come out with a supercar. From a performance standpoint it competes with some of Porsche's, Lamborghinis and Ferrari's newest models.
@CarswithMiles I totally agree regarding performance but it's not all about performance that defines a supercar. When you think of a supercar you think of Lamborghini, Ferrari, Mclaren...no one thinks of a Corvette 😅
