Awesome video my guy! This is a very chilled video, just a dude smoking a cigar and having a conversation with you.
Bought 2 boxes for €10 when I went on Holiday to Spain. Great quality cigars for cheap!
Few years back i wanted to get into Cigars, i bought a whole box of these JLP Casadores, and they went quickly!
Was a very sweet aromatic experience, i were hooked!
Later on i wanted to try a fancy cigar, so i went and bought a large gran corona top tier Cohiba,
and frankly i were disappointed..
This Cohiba were more expensive than an entire box of the Jose L. Piedra containing 25 cigars,
but that Cohiba arguably tasted on-par, with the dirt cheap JLP.. it tasted good Yes! but so did the Jose L. Piedra.
Lets just say, i felt ripped off...
As time went on, i've been around the block and tried most of the Cuban brands, and the funniest thing is,
-my very first Cuban cigar experience, the Jose L. Piedra, still holds up! It is the cheapest Cuban Cigar at my dealer,
and somehow it's the one that gives off the most pleasant aromas and taste,
i guess it's just like they say, go with your first instinct..
I've went through quite a few boxes of these, and i can confirm the build quality on each single cigar has been *Very* consistent.
Conservas still has my all-time favourite award. JLP are fantastic.
My thoughts exactly, best value on the market - flavor is just what I’m looking for in a Cuban cigar
I smoked one of these this morning on the porch. It's been sitting in my humi since 2012 and It turned out to be simply amazing. They come in bundles and tend to have a prominent ammonia smell. This is my second bundle and I'm convinced some high ammonia cigars can become fantastic with humi time.
I absolutely love these. I buy them all the time as a humidor filler. I would also argue that you don't need to age these for much time at all. I'd say just a few days would do but that's just me.
Yeah, a few days for them to settle after transport is fine for me.
Are you the Jennifer that has left loads of reviews on CGars?
Great value for the money, even more when aged.
smoking this cigar right now. must say it tastes similar to edmundo
Pars well with jd honey
Yes a Great Cigar. I was smoking the exact same one while watch your great review. I enjoyed it quite alot. 😃😄😁😀
33,99£?? They're ripping you off over there. These go for under 10€ for a box of 5 over here. Indeed a good cigar for the price.
Well taxes area a bitch, not like CGars arent overpriced in themselves. I'm guessing it's a cost of living difference.
True, differences between European countries are absurd. Keep making reviews!
I pick these up for $2.40 each, USD....ordered online.
Apparently the most popular cigar in Cuba, enough said, top quality smoke, although the odd one is a hard draw but price wise cant be beaten.
These are alright cigars, not up there with the greats but good for the price. However, I will say this about them, the smoke through the nose is some of the softest I have ever experienced. I wonder if that Vuelta Arriba tobacco is just having that character. Like silk through the nose, even in the final 3rd!
You are smoking it to fast....dont worry about the burn with 69 70 % you can smoke it relaxed
You don't judge the book by its cover Sir. Agree, JLP are very good.
What JLP would you recomend for beginner?
I've ordered 10 peaces from tabacco shop and i must say for that kind of preace they are nice to smoke!
In Greece they sell for 14€,pretty cheap for habanos aren’t they?
in greece they sell it for 2 euros.. not 14..

I ordered six different Cuban cigars and they arrived today. These are my first Cubans.(I'm in Texas) The retailer threw in a box of these 5 Conservas. I never heard of these so I went looking for reviews. Seems I came to the right place. I'll pop them in the humidor and let them sit for awhile.
Enjoyed the review, ordered some of these earlier prior to your review, for the price I'm glad I did as I've just enjoyed a montecristo 4.thanks
Bom vídeo que mostra o quanto é importante conhecer o trabalho do artista que faz o charutos.
Great cigar all the way through, peaking in the middle. Decent price.
I got a lot of different Carmel flavours and some sweet woods and a bit of nuttiness but that nuttiness was in the last third.
Great review, i buy these in the bear shop Cardiff they are £7.75 great value and a good smoke.
What is better this or the cazadores?
love em small but mighty. draw could be better.
I brought some in St Martin for $15 in the duty free
Hi!
I watch your videos and see that you have tried most of the Jose L. Piedra cigars so I wonder which one would you recommend for a beginner?
i used subtitles to understand... anyway good job
in Rome, Italy, 10 euros per box ( 5 cigars).
14€ in Greece still really cheap though
10 dólars
@@streetndirtfighters5102 I just ordered one it's 11
@@manolisgr488 where you find it in 11euro ? ( Έλληνας είμαι)
These are my favourite Cuban for the money Chris
Definitely.
Just a quick question Chris.
As you know cigars are so expensive over here in the UK.
Do you know any decent international sites that we can order from? I know there's the issue of tax being added but people seem to say that even with the tax added on it still works out cheaper than buying from the UK.
Simon Carter what you think about quintero.?
11:00 what were you drinking @cigarhub
Probably coke and rum. Or coke and whisky. Maybe I was drinking only cherry pepsi back then. But usually Id drink it all day and when I had a cigar in the afternoon Id just pour in some whisky or rum or something.
Great video man. Im really getting into your channel. Just subbed. Look forward to more from ya :)
Thanks. I've been a fan of your videos for a while now.
CigarHub Thanks I really appreciate that!
Creamy taste or coffee?
I smoked these ( as well as many others) on my recent holiday in Ibiza. €7.35 for a pack of 5 and they are a cracking smoke.
jesus christ in new zealand they are 35 nzd each! thats like 19 euros a stick
@@st3gosaurus Source them from the USA. I live in the UK and get these shipped from the USA for £100 for 50 sticks.
@@GTVScotty It is not possible that they are shiped from the U.S. !!
They are banned there and importing goods from Cuba can impose a fine on you and even send you behind bars.
By Monty 4 do you mean Montecristo?
Yes.
Cheers, your opinion was greatly appreciated. Cigarterminal has these for US$59 at the moment so jumped in and bought some. Not always cost effective buying Partagas, Juan Lopez, R&B and the like, so was looking for something cheaper I could smoke while trying to age the others. Keep up the reviews, thumbs up
Jose La madrid Piedra
On simply cigars website they cost around £40
Che Guevaras favourite label
Did you figure out? Short or long filler?
Hand rolled short filler. Very... rare it seems.
Nope, nope!! Horrible cigars!! Thank God for MONTECRISTO!! 🙏🏻
Peat?! so..it smells reminiscent to peated whiskies? like a savory or smoky smell?
Yep.
How long did those rest in your humidor by the way? just asking since you did recommend to aged them and i will be ordering some of these.
kenken8765 I bought these decently old so I would say 6 months minimum for a good smoke, probably three is good. They're really hard to keep around.
Probably a long time.
Ash and burn looks extremely nice and I think the conserva is almost good as the Monte Christo open
I don't personally own a humidor but when I ordered this it came with a little portable "humidity pouch" with instructions to put the cigar and the bag in a container together, how long should I do this for?
Until the humidity pouch turns solid.
Were the cigars aged from cgars.co.uk or did you age them in your humidor? :). :Probably a stupid question/and was probably mentioned! Sorry!
Great review by the way!
Neither, I didn't buy from CGars. I strongly doubt they would have been aged for a long time at cgars though
Nice, I will try them out. I have a friend that likes the Monte 4. Thanks Bro!
6.50 for this stick......seriously ? Here in Germany you could pick up such a 5er Pack of the Casadores for just 11.80€ !
Yep, welcome to taxland.
@@CigarHubReviews : we do pay a lot of tax in the UK but in my experience it's actually more to do with H+F price gouging because of the monopoly they have. If you order cigars from abroad, even with the tax added by customs they're no where near as expensive as UK retail prices.
In France it is 56 euros for 25 pcs
Hi Chris. I took your advice and ordered some JLP Cetros form CGars as a cheaper alternative to the more expensive Cubans and I found them to be really nice. The only problem I've had with JLP so far is the quality issues. I had a pack of 5 Cetros and 4 of the were so badly plugged that I threw 4 out of 5 away. Do you, or anyone else find this an issue with JLP?
It's not common but it's advised you leave them for a long time. Cgars will never give their cigars care time.
Reduce humidity to 65%...I smoked like a hundred JLPs and maybe had problem 2-3times
@@janvaljavec Yes the 70% recommended humidity at room temperature for cigars is to high unless you live in a bone dry desert... Most cigars feels plugged and will not burn when they are that humid is my short experience with cigars. After I reduced to 65% humidity I went from 6 out 7 seven cigars would not burn and feel plugged to non....
Belén smoking those for 3 years now, excellent for their value
Some of the best.
Cigarrer ska inte rökas av fjunisar hahah
Is it the whole box that tasted the same or is it just that one?
Multiple boxes tasted the same.
Did you say "pee" or "pea"? I'm having a super cheap Jose L Piedra Brevas (£2.3) and I smell hay or barn. Cattle pee if you wish :) Overall, really surprised given the price.
Peat is probably what you're referring to.
+CigarHub Ah, yes. That's it!
Hahahah
smoke these all the time i get them for £ 5 each in glasgow i get a box of 20 at a time cant keep them long tho i use them as my daily smoke to save my other cubans
Bro cut of two centimeters and let Themen one year in humidor and later taste them its unbeliveable
Mαναριτζις1974 cut off of which end and why?
You cut off the end because it has filler for about an inch and a half. The rest of the cigar is pure Cuban and its mind blowing.
Sorry Dude, but I couldn't stand to watch, how you are holding and handling the cigars in nearly all you vids I've seen ! It always looks like you are smoking for the very first time and you are afraid of breaking them or something !
Hi Charlie puth
I’ve had one of these- I’m no expert but I thought a decent smoke.
nice burn, nice construction but westing enjoyment oppertunity!!!! just smoking wood not much taset!!! sorry its just not a cigar to smoke !!!
Bought a bunch on your recommendation.Waste of money.Used to smoke five a day years back. Comparison to a Monte 2....... No way Jose
He said Monte 4 and it is fact that is exactly what it tastes like. I have bought and smoked a box of 25 Monte 4s, I know my Monte 4 and this is it.
Looking at the comments it looks like we pay too much in the UK £25 per 5!
Same price here in the middle east
Here in Ireland it’s 14 euro for one
Not a single comment about how this guy looks like a child? Lol
I've probably had a combined 1,000 of those across the videos.
CigarHub respect. Thanks for the video!
