Makes an old drummer so happy to see the younger generation carrying on the journey playing drums and talking it to the Maxx every time,I thought it was a dying art form thanks Luke,Matt for keeping it alive 🤘🤘🤘🤘
I'm from Spain and I particularly liked this video. The way the hands barely spoke english and barely even tried, but still made an effort to communicate and understand you is such an Spanish way of going about it lol
Hahahaha I moved to Valencia last year from the states and it's so funny to watch that happen, and knowing that in a thousand different situations I was in the same position as Matt was. God bless the Spanish
Hey Matt this is by far the best video you have as this one was extra "Fun" and I enjoyed it very much. Us fans LOVE the behind the scenes from unloading the trucks to exploring the venues and the catering and just having a good time with you backstage guys. Your videos just keep getting better and better and more detailed which we all love and appreciate all the hard work you guys and the crew do to make a great show come to life and we don't take you all for granted. The commentary is awesome, the behind the scenes from catering to restrooms to semi trucks, the tour bus stuff and the side stage views are just so much fun to watch. I always look forward to EVERY video you put out and your videos relax me at the same time. You have a good thing going with your channel and I hope you keep punching out videos as we will always be waiting for more from you. Much love and mad respect for all that you do. Thank YOU!! Thumbs UP and shared as always. A+++++ : )))
Dude! I legit got one of those c2 rides a few weeks ago thanks to you and Luke. Sounds so damn good!! Excited to hit the studio in a few weeks and hear it recorded. 🤘
I love these videos for a couple reasons, I’ve always wondered what it’s like behind the scenes for the live shows , and falling in reverse has been my fave band since 2014. The last aftershock was the best show they’ve ever put on there! I’ve seen them play at aftershock the last 3 times and the last one was definitely the best. Cheers to all of you for creating an amazing experience for all of us!
I’ve started stage handing at a local venue a month ago and fell in love with setting up kits, even though I play bass and guitar. Came across your channel while looking for how to improve and maybe get into drum teching. I’ve learnt so much from you over the past two weeks, bands even ask me if I’m a drum tech/am looking to get into it. Thanks so much dude!
Some lovely local crew to add to the POV vid. The venue reverb during load-in was a head killer. Backstage facilities were interesting. The show looked great and good to see all the regulars, one exception, Willard OFC. Looking forward to your next release Matt, thanks for this one.
Awesome to get more videos from you! Was also cool to see Anthony from Hollywood Undead in the video, I've been following him for some time and I'm a fan of his drumming . Keep em' coming Matt!
Been so excited for this series. Work in the industry in the UK (tickets to see the Cardiff show!) So cool to see all the companies and places I recognise! STF Crew!
Hey Matt I’ve been following your channel for a while and I’m so stoked for this video since it’s the first ever drum tech POV in my country! Love the channel
As always man, great content! We appreciate you and your ability to share your adventures with us. I cracked up at my 5 year old boy as we were not even a minute in amd he gets excited to sit and watch with me. His first question: "Dad, is he heading down to eat?" Lol... geez son give him a break. He works some too 😂😂😂. Take care Brotha and safe travels to you and the team 🤘.
Great video, Matt! I was at the gig in Madrid, so awesome! When u posted on Instagram that u were recording I couldn´t wait to see the video! Greetings from Madrid from a fellow drummer!
26:52 I am not surprised at all. It's a dw so it's to be expected from this equipment. Likewise if you were operating Yamaha Recording. This class of drums sound from just looking at them
I love how in Europe/North America you can be so chill, just walk from the hotel to the bus no problem. In Argentina, you will have security from the hotel door all the way to the venue and security all night outside the door. You dont do busses either on Latin America, just flying from country to country. The differences are so nuts.
Just watched the 10k Subscriber Q & A. I gotta say, seeing your face for the first time, you kinda look like Tom Segura lol. You might have heard that before. Might not. Just thought I would throw that out there. Thanks for the bad ass content, brother!! Keep Killin it!!!!
I was lucky enough to work in a gig in Vistalegre during my internship for my technician formation and yes, it's a difficult place to equalize. Funny detail, I had lunch in the same place where these guys got their dinner from after the concert hahaha
@@matthorndrums No worries! I don't mind it, just wanted to let you know in case you wanted a way to fix it. And appoligies in advance if it actually doesn't work 😅
I won’t be able to see the show in Milan tomorrow, I’m so upset, it could have been the chance to have a coffee with you Matt (italian coffee of course)..maybe
Great Video Matt. Those EU Buses are cool looking. That venue was terrible. The sound was bouncing around like a pinball. Looking forward to the next video. thx
On tour with Geoff tate right now in Milan Italy. I'm their guitar tech. So accurate, except we play smaller venues haha. I'm jealous of your bus. Cheers
Matt & Luke... U guys are awesome! Take us all around the globe, and almost everywhere whenever you can... Serious, we can't do without it anymore. 🥁❤😁
Loved it! Again! Thanks. I noticed you will be in Berlin next week. If you want, I´ll give you a tour. I am a professional tourguide here so, let me know.
I do some drums/backline teching at a couple festivals, I'd love to do more of it. Just trying to find a gig where I don't have to drive the van and be the everything tech
New here and it's surprisingly hard to find out what band you work with. Can someone fill me in? That being said this was fucking awesome good work man👌🏼 I especially love the food content for some reason 😂
Damn he pounded the hell out those drums. Looks like the stage was big enough for Luke not to get BBQ'd by the pyro. I was wondering how he'd do without an AC.
Snare sounded so good this show, thank you my boi 🤝
Snare was definetly barking!! Great show.
you sounded insane too man, wow, that encore!!!
That kick too, wowza
Makes an old drummer so happy to see the younger generation carrying on the journey playing drums and talking it to the Maxx every time,I thought it was a dying art form thanks Luke,Matt for keeping it alive 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Dude your such an under rated drummer. Absolute gutted i cant afford to attend any uk shows, plus it was unreal how quick they sold out.
I'm from Spain and I particularly liked this video. The way the hands barely spoke english and barely even tried, but still made an effort to communicate and understand you is such an Spanish way of going about it lol
It was great! I really wish I spoke more than one language. Europe is really accommodating when it comes to English speakers.
Hahahaha I moved to Valencia last year from the states and it's so funny to watch that happen, and knowing that in a thousand different situations I was in the same position as Matt was. God bless the Spanish
Me meo cuando se escucha la chica decir… que es lo que a dicho el guiri 😂😂😂
all hail matt horn drums, our lord of closed captions
That little man was so angry for no reason. Well handled, my dude. Just another fact why you and this channel is blowing up and deserving the love!
Happy to see Mr. "Hey! One-two!" made it to Europe as well :D Awesome job as always Matt!

Love the Pledge go to cymbal cleaner. Gets the prints off when you don't need a full polish. 👍

Ayo that was so cool from the ladies helping Matt build the kit haha!
I was lucky enough to work in a gig in Vistalegre during my internship for my technician formation and yes, it's a difficult place to equalize.

Love Pip "I'd take some drugs." 14:40
I came here to say the same thing, but figured I'd do the scroll first and voila; found your comment! 🤣
Great video ! Love the channel !
wtf, even the bird noises got a strike?! that's insane haha. great video, thanks for this!
If you have the option to, you can film at 50hz instead of 60hz to get rid of all the flickering lights while in Europe.
I got you man! I had no idea this was a thing until I went to edit the video. My apologies.
@@matthorndrums No worries! I don't mind it, just wanted to let you know in case you wanted a way to fix it. And appoligies in advance if it actually doesn't work 😅
You had lots of help at this show, cool!!!

On tour with Geoff tate right now in Milan Italy. I'm their guitar tech. So accurate, except we play smaller venues haha. I'm jealous of your bus. Cheers
Spain is off the hook. And yes, I’d love to be in my 20s again…maybe just on weekends.
I love the Beat the street buses, so much nicer than some of the cartel ones in the US ha!

Respect to the women working
I'm watching from Japan!!!!😎🤟🥁
It's crazy that even on a tour bus as nice as that one that taking a dump is still a problem.
Matt, have you ever had to 'hot bag' it on tour before?
