I’m glad I found this comment because I felt the same way. It kind of gave me a possible insight to his life growing up and maybe that’s why he yearns for his mother’s acceptance/attention. I’m sure if Wendi was on the phone she would have had to ASK her mother to get off the phone. What he did was absolutely horrible but I can’t help but to think he did it out of hoping he would please his mom and finally have her attention. Since he spoke of his life before, I’m thinking maybe he is very slowly starting to realize what he sacrificed for a family that only cares about themselves and is regretful. Hopefully he’ll turn on Wendi bc I do think he was nothing more than a puppet to her and Donna.
Donna straight gas lighted him...Calling him honey, knowing they are leaving the country and won't talk to him again, leaving him holding the bag. Disgraceful. The closest he has ever come to regret is when he started talking about his life in 2013 and Donna stopped him right away. To her it’s still worth it but I’m sure jail will eventually have her reminiscing about life before their crime.
I caught that too and she shut it down quickly. She was the one that probably asked Charlie to do it and if Donna had just left Wendi to deal with her own life. And stop meddling in it. None of them would be where they are now. Dan would be alive and Charlie would be a Father to his son. And Donna and Harvey would be content in their retirement. Sounds like Harvey was falling to pieces in the background. Charlie is gonna be the death of both of his parents with the hour long guilt calls. He does drone on and on. People who described him as doing so definitely nailed it.
Pretending your innocent is just going to make it worse for you, Charlie. You're a murderer, jail is where you belong. Wait a few years, flip on your sister, maybe you'll be out in 20.
I see no evidence that the collective delusions of this family are dissipating. The avalanche of evidence of their guilt has not swayed them a bit. They are morally bankrupt, and beyond pity. Those boys will eventually find out the truth. It will probably ruin their lives as well.
F that, flip on your mom!!! Think about whose idea it was first to actually commit this murder: if Donna asked Charlie to do this, then all of this blood is on Donna's hands. Yes, Charlie should've said no, but in a super enmeshed, controlling, narcissistic, dysfunctional family dynamic, saying no to mom is never really an option. At this point, Donna is desperate to deflect any and all responsibility for this mess, which is I think one of the reasons she is spending so much time on the phone, to make sure Charlie doesn't suddenly decide, "hey, what a minute. This was your idea, mom!!!". A narcissist is always obsessed with denial of responsibility for everything they cause.

Its so painfully annoying hearing the pain this people are going through yet knowing they did it all to themselves. Assholes. I feel claustrophobic just listening to Charlie describe his box so i know what its doing to Harvey and Donna. smh.
What kind of mother and father doesn’t want to see their child? Why doesn’t the dad jump in when the mom says talking on the phone is good enough and say, “no, we’re going to see Charlie, the minute visits are allowed-“ Just like Wendi dumped them after she was done using them, they’re doing something similar to Charlie.
Charlie did cry after they spoke about visits. He wouldn’t have brought it up unless he was hoping they would visit. His dad seemed genuine when he expressed he wanted Charlie to speak, because he thought it could help Charlie through the ordeal. The mom is clearly wanting to get off the phone. The mom seems most concerned about Wendi and the grandkids and getting all their financials taken care of so Wendi knows where everything is. Yet, Wendi seems to have ghosted them. Wendi is not as dedicated as Charlie. Charlie is the sacrificial lamb. Wonder what a psychologist thoughts are about the family dynamic?

Of coarse my heart goes out to Dan who lost his life, and his parents who lost their son and don’t even have contact with their own grandchildren, I guess what I was trying to say is because I have been to jail before ( not prison) my heart goes out to him in a sense that I know in that trial they twisted some things then what they were…… and I feel hits my heart to see this man having a amazing job great life now in prison forever lost everything……I do think the trial should have been picked from people all over the US. Yes he deserves to be in prison for his actions I just think life is a little much.. maybe like a 15-20 year sentence would have been better.
I love how Charlie is warning Donna of what it’s gonna be like for her without knowing it 🥰🥰
Harvey is like Weekend at Bernie’s now
Donna keeps saying, “we know!” What she wants to say is “SHUT UP, we know!”
He feels like he’s being punished for no reason? He actually said that…🙄
Because they still believe that they rescued Wendi. They cant accept that Wendi manipulated them with lies about Dan
I would have liked more discussion on the refrigerator leak
Not once are they feeling sad for Dan’s family or the boys. If you commit these crimes, you lose access to your freedom
Charlie needs an audience.
These are some Xanax taking fools!
Donna straight gas lighted him...Calling him honey, knowing they are leaving the country and won't talk to him again, leaving him holding the bag. Disgraceful. I can't wait to hear Donna's calls where she belittles everyone, aside from her pathetic atty that will win zero favors with the judge, jury or Prosecution. I pray Charlie will testify against them all, he just found out he's the Adelsons throw away kid.
The jury is going to hate her female attorney. She is so abrasive. Georgia will mop the floor with her. The judge is going to have a tough time keeping Donna under control.
@kellijanssen1171 O Kelli, Imagine her eye rolls, her obnoxious outburst, it will be golden. Then when Georgia plays all those damaging phone calls, that make Donna sound like an angry unhinged battle ax....how exactly is that curt rude Lawyer, who can't seem to remember anyone's name, going to go toe to toe with Georgia? Do you think the million dollar jury consultant will be procured for this trial?
@@sinclairreed5367 Haven't you heard? Georgia is faking her accent to sound more hometown. At least, that's what they say. Can we get a change of venue for the dumpster fire, please? 🤣
What would expect her to do? Tell him they're leaving on recorded jail call line? Granted, she did spill the beans about that, but she didn't realise it was still recording.
I feel he has been told in the last day by Dan the attorney about his parents planning to abscond soon on their one way tickets. Thus them both extra tearful with the comment "phone calls are fine"..
Wow, Gigi is giving us the scoop here 👏👏👏 with all these calls.
Ben writes to Charlie..💔 the man who paid to have his dad killed… Jesus how fricken cold hearted to play daddy to the kid whose father you murdered… no bloody shame in this man
Wendy stopped that .
He didn't respond to Uncle I wonder why??
Donna insisting Charlie will have contact with his son Roman.. Yet Dan's sons lost contact with their father forever and years of no contact for Dan Markel's parents, the boys grand parents..
These people had the world and they threw it away. And even now Wendi has turned their backs on them. They did it all for nothing.
@@jeng8401 ,
I believe Charlie with his , ‘ I am gangster self ‘ , was the one who wanted to prove nobody fcks with his family . Donna went along with it . I think it was the supervised visits and Wendi loosing her law license for thief that made Charlie felicitate the hit on Dan . Donna should have known better and, discourage him . And as for Harvey he seems like a puppet on a string he goes along with everything . Wendi has parted ways with her family . I think she’s getting on Robert’s good side she mentioned him in her testimony as being on speaking terms with him . I hope Robert and his wife which they didn’t approve of sends her packing .
@@Theresa89 Wendeye LIED about being on speaking terms with Robert. Don't fall for it.
Remember she also said that Prof Markel and Donna had "patched things up"
That there had been a "beautiful reconciliation" between Donna and Robert (she said that at Katie M's 2nd trial)
That she didn't take Prof Markel's pending legal motion "seriously" (also said at Katie's 2nd trial)
And that the Markels have been able to see their grandsons as much and as often as they want.
EVERYTHING she said about the things was a lie.
Please don't suddenly believe one.
Robert said that it was WEndeye's behaviour post the murder that he found the MOST damning.
Zim represent!!! And yass she stopped him. This man is now a broken record. And you are so sad about not being able to be a dad. It can take another dads life ??

Only now that he’s in prison he wants to be a dad . He wasn’t much of one before . His talking is exhausting !
20:05 - what we all wish we could say to Charlie
Donna can’t wait to get off the phone with him.
Exactly. Kept using the excuse about the fridge to get off the phone.
@_heycupcake That, and "I need to go put dad to bed". She acts like he's 6 years old...... the dude is 80!
He was keeping her back from packing the suitcases 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣.
Is the entire family addicted to Xanax???
It's like a mother talking to her 8 year old child who is away from home at camp for the first time.
Except at this camp it’s a 300 lb counselor with the nickname of “Porn Star” looking to tuck him in at night. Charlie is going to crack once he hits General population
I've got to get out of this box, I feel like I'm being punished
What?!?! That right there shows where he is mentally. Unbelievable

Gigi, thank you so much for all the phone calls information I do appreciate it.
I find it so smug how they think the juror who became an alternate was “a professional’ that would have found him innocent, implying that he is the only one with a brain and that the little people or simple folk in their minds were somehow less intelligent and were too stupid to see what really happened. This was the same smugness the Adelson’s had for other people in their regular lives.
Thank you, GiGi!
Dude in there talking to the staff like they are his hired help. He’s gonna have a rough time, I know he “will appreciate” that!
OMG! Minute 10 when Charlie tells the prison therapist “If you care about me at all…” and asks to be placed back with “my window” and “my friends.”
Chances are Charlie told Dan to tell his parents to flee the country because they had all discussed it prior to Charlie being arrested.
I wonder if Donna ever admits to herself that SHE ruined her family with all of her hate
Well at least Charlie is scaring the crap out of Donna this entire time. And she thought she’d be long gone before she got got🙀
I love that Donna says to Charlie “you can call us whenever you need to , we will always be here “ when in reality Donna will most likely never talk to Charlie again . So thankful this toxic family is facing accountability for their actions. These phone calls really show the delusional minds of this entitled family

When Charlie sees what going to be his Mommy's fate, he'll flip on Wendi .
I agree
I agree too.
Agree!
Once Charlie hits general population, he’ll beg for some deal to protect him and turn on baby sister
So satisfying to see someone that was once rich stress over $60
Right!! So removed from normal reality! Welcome to our world where 60 in hand is a really good money day. (Mine anyway lol )
Sounds like Harvey was falling to pieces in the background. Charlie is gonna be the death of both of his parents with the hour long guilt calls. He does drone on and on. People who described him as doing so definitely nailed it.
These people eat Xanax like they’re M&Ms
The family coordinator. lol.
I wonder how Donna is managing in jail without being able to just pop a Xanax whenever she wants to? I’m sure she’s going through withdrawals!
Donna’s despair is so palpable it’s almost giving me anxiety.
I totally agree. Her despair is crushing.

Thank you for all your hard work posting these phone calls!! They are so addicting 😂😂 I’ve spent my whole day off listening to this delusional family
@@sooke54To a narcissist, their entire life is a delusion, so this is just an extension of what they are do, albeit under different circumstances.
@@sooke54I think when the boys realize what happened and choose to live with either Rob, the Markel grandparents or the Markel aunty, that's when Donna and Charlie will flip on Wendy
If Charlie is going to flip will be after a failed appeal

Thank you for all your hard work! This is so fun to listen to. Do you think we will hear the calls from the day Donna was arrested?
I think the jail will release them after Donna’s conviction .
I don't think we will get those until after her court date. But I would love to hear Charlie's call to Harvey
Reason to seek love and peace instead of revenge and retaliation, people. Period. If these people possessed an ounce of wisdom they’d be free. I love listening to these calls. I’m becoming a better person from listening to these calls.
Yep.

Like a control tower at the airport…….. like they one they watched you from Donna! 🥹
I wonder if there was actually a refrigerator repair man. He can't tell she's already bored of having this exact conversation multiple times a day for hours on end?
In all these calls you can just feel the parents wishing he would hang up already. So cringe. But he keeps on repeating the same stuff over and over. No self awareness
Did he say that ? Lolll I missed it why is he still talking about that ?
Expensive calls at that.
How Ironic they have to keep using the name Dan
Its so painfully annoying hearing the pain this people are going through yet knowing they did it all to themselves. Assholes. I feel claustrophobic just listening to Charlie describe his box so i know what its doing to Harvey and Donna. smh.
Thank you for these videos GiGi.. i really appreciate all your hard work! Happy Christmas xx
Charlie cried after he realized she didn’t want to see him, but instead she emphasized the importance was being able to speak to each other was what is important. Wow, just wow. She should have visited him.
@@terril.3030, exactly! I guess it’s much easier to be big and bad when you’re out and about. I wonder if her stance about visits has changed now that she’s behind bars, as well!
@@Lifegoals4me A glimpse of her underlying value of her child. Charlie says sorry a lot in one of these calls. He is apologetic and concerned he is stressing them out.

What’s intriguing is…Charlie loved/loves bragging about how much money he has, but it doesn’t matter anymore. Can you imagine, going from the lap of luxury, to an 8’x10’ cell with a metal bed, and nothing to look forward to?!? Now he gets to make collect-calls, & talk about the few dollars he has for commissary.
Wild indeed. Dude was making 800K a year, materialy speaking, he had it all.
Donna...talking to Ol' Charlie ..promising to be there for him...and furiously packing her suitcase to skip town ......Mommy Dearest
Charlie showing off for mommy w the guard? Does Charlie think he can flirt his way out of things w guards? Yikes.
He has all the answers. That's what got him in trouble in the first place.
During this jail call Charlie opened his big mouth at 11:23, just listen to him and how Donna reacts... Then Donna tells there is a leak in the refrigaretor.... etc. and she says she will call Dan... I think she called Dan Cashbum and wanted him to warn Chawlie... Very very intriguing. l bet they are still using codes..
Maybe the Feds could offer Charlie a deal, give up Wendi & could be in a Federal prison.. ??

Poor brother Robert, the whole world can see what a crack pot murderous family he has by just listening to these calls. These people can’t quit implicating themselves even when they know these calls are recorded. Yet they imply how dumb the jurors are. Good thing Robert knew about these nuts years ago.
Anybody not agreeing with the Adelson's is considered dumb in their books. I feel for Robert cos no matter what, these people are still an extension of him
I’ve heard that Robert is writing a book. That would be a pager turner.
I think if I was Robert. I'd change my last name!
If Donna initiated the idea of the murder, how can she go on living , facing herself the situation Charlie is in ?
The whole family operates on zero integrity and below zero morals.
She didn’t want to go on living. She wanted to go to sleep and never wake up leaving everyone else to deal with the mess she created.
Sociopaths lack empathy and justify actions they know to be wrong. This is glaringly exhibited in these people. Not ONCE do they empathize with the Markels or anyone negatively affected by this case. The constant, relentless blaming of others for their situation- the jury, Georgia and the latest in the list, Wendi!
Charlie and Donna remind me of Sante and Kenny Kimes, the same unnatural closeness, Kenny doing whatever crime Mummy puts him up to.
The way he keeps telling her is almost like he's trying to convince her to do something to get him out. Like he's always had her to run interference, and he thinks somehow she will this time.
