“Our family is cursed!” The audacity! 😡She created this mess and like a true narcissist blames, everyone else even the supernatural, but can never take accountability. Shameful.
Absolutely, the fact that one son is in jail, the other never talks to Donna, and now Wendi isn't speaking to Donna is 100% of Donna's making and obsession with controlling all of her three adult kids. She raised a manipulator with Wendi, a completely codependent kid in Charlie to do her bidding, and she tormented Rob and threatened to DISOWN him for over a year until he broke up with his non-Jewish girlfriend and married a Jewish girl in Dallas, who he got an annulment from days later, after realizing what a mistake it was and trying to please his manipulative parents. Even after all that, and how it turned everyone's lives upside-down, Rob and his 2nd wife (the gf they didn't want) STILL tried to make peace with his parents, until Dan's murder and the Adelsons' role in it came to light. Thank god Rob stood up for himself and moved far away from his psycho mother. In the above call, Donna is trying to suck Wendi into talking to her. But Wendi is no fool; she's realized she is probably the only family member who will be unscathed by any of this, and so of course she isn't talking to any of them. Why would she? And Donna really thinks it's ok to have Wendi look up ways for them to flee? No, that has nothing to do with the case at all, Donna. LOL. And I'm sure you can't mail a list of where everything is or give it to your attorney for safekeeping. Ugh, this vile lying woman. And in court when they said she had spoken about killing herself and she laughed and laughed, saying they're crazy-- it shows you what a liar she is when you hear this call. Donna, you're in a mess of your own making and your own arrogance.
Talk about tone deaf. She spoiled her kids rotten and ended up raising two narcissists, surprise surprise (and one son with enough brains to run for the hills). Of course they're both in it for themselves. You'd think a 72-year-old would know something about setting limits and boundaries and the not-so-abstract concept of accountability, but apparently the rich have a different set of rules. The self-pity is truly nauseating.
Wow, Wendi sure successfully manipulated (played) her brother, mother and father to have HER "problem" of her ex-husband, Danny "taken care of". So many people believe Donna was the true mastermind behind Dan Markel's murder. No doubt both Donna and Charlie did the leg work, but IMO, Wendi knew exactly what buttons to push to make sure the ball got rolling on it, and unfortunately, she got what she wanted, which is why now she has washed her hands of her parents and Charlie. Wendi's false pretense of complete innocence turns my stomach. She knew all about the plot to kill Dan before his horrific murder. Complete Justice for Dan Markel and his sons must include the eventual arrest and prosecution of both Wendi and Harvey, IMO.
@2FLIPS3TWISTS003 Wendi Left for Tallahassee 2 days after the murder. Wouldn't you take some time to collect yourself. Wendi did not need any convincing to skip town immediately.
@2FLIPS3TWISTS003 I was married to a manipulative woman. Wendi actually reminds me alot of my ex Wife. We had a good life I was trying hard to make her happy but there was no amount of spending that would satisfy her. She destroyed a household bring home 10k per month and she ended up homeless. It is a short sighted attitude. She thought she would end up with Child Support and Alimony and me paying to mortgage. She screwed it all up and ended up homeless for a time. Manipulative people do not consider things not working out the way they want it to.
I have been thinking about SAME thing! Wendi is manipulative as hell! These people can bs everybody, BUT God was watching you morons! Try to manipulate HIM!
@2FLIPS3TWISTS003They will turn on her. Though Charlie doesn't seem to be able to make any decisions independently of his mother so I'd give it a few years.
This call was extremely revealing. First, Donna saying “we have to protect Wendi” is not going to play well for them. Second, Wendi ghosting her family to avoid talking about the case is also highly suspect. And finally, this family is an absolute mess. Wendi dodging her mom who is going through emotional duress just goes to show her severe lack of empathy even to someone who is on her side.
Wendi will not talk to anyone because she does not want to risk saying something inciminating and being recorded by anyone. There is no way Donna is not going to run her mouth if Wendi is there.
@@abigailrose5993 There is no way that the mother of Dan's children did not at least give a wink and a nod. Why would someone like charlie take it upon himself to risk his playboy life without some family conspiracy. Also Wendi is not shocked to find out her brother killed Dan. There may not be enough proof to take to trial but there is no way Donna and Charlie concocted this with just the 2 of them.
Then why lie 3 or 4 times about how far she went down Dan's road? It makes ZERO sense!! Plus she looked a hot mess going to that fancy place for lunch. You can't tell me she didn't know.
Donna raging about Wendi in this call is everything! It sounds like Wendi is only out to protect herself now- she’s doing everything possible to keep from being tied to that sinking Adelson ship. WOW.
We know she's totally guilty so can you blame her. Her mother can't shut up, and her brother talked his way into being locked up for the rest of his life. Now going to spend all their precious money trying to bail their butts out. . ( I wonder when they are going to find all those tapes where they were crying over the loss of their son-in-law😅)
It’s amazing to me that Wendi can live 3 hours from her parents now but couldn’t when she lived in Tallahassee and was newly divorced 🤷🏻♀️ Wendi used ALL of you and it’s truly showing now.
Not ONE of them EVER says 1. "How can an innocent person be found guilty" 2. "But Charlie is innocent" 3. "we're ALL totally innocent" what's more, they also never say 1. "we should have gone to the police right away, the minute Charlie was told who killed Jibbers" 2. "why didn't Charlie go right to the police? It might have been dangerous, but it wouldn't have been THIS." 3. "the police might have been able to protect us all" 4. "it turned out there never really was a Latin Kings plot, it was just something Katie Magnabua cooked up 5. "I wish we'd never met Katie Magbanua" 6. "We should have given evidence at the trial of Sigfredo Garcia and Katie Magbanua" 7. "We should have told the police when Sigfredo was arrested" Not a PEEP about anything like that. That makes it 100% clear that the extortion story is just that. A story. And not a very good one.
Charlie actually does mention that in another call, to Brie, his baby mama. He spent a lot of that call complaining that jurors didn't see the obvious reasonable doubt in the story he offered.
I bet you Wendi resents them just as much. I would too after hearing all they said about me on wiretaps behind my back. They did not seem to respect her abilities at all
@@trinitymeadows2811 totally! I have a surprise for you…! This Friday the 19th Dateline is doing a episode of her arrest! I guess she was fighting with them because she didn’t want to give up her phone at the airport!!! I can’t wait…
@@trinitymeadows2811 she’s probably so dumb that she was shocked like you said “wow how did you find me on the tarmac heading to Vietnam”. She fired her lawyer also by the way. You have ONE guess on who she hired ONE! Don’t cheat…!
This is bloody amazing!!! So the juiciest part here is in fact Donna Adelson forgot to hang up her phone from the recorded jail house call with Charlie when it dropped out!!!!! How freaking amazing is that! To hear what she thinks and speaks of when she thinks she's behind closed doors, it's pure karma here! And this is why she looked incredulous at State when they say she talked of duel life ending with Harvey and her plans to flee to Vietnam .. She doesn't realise it's on tape as she wouldn't have said it on recorded line to Charlie, thing is, she never hung up, this call is taped and she didn't even realise it!! Talk about poetic justice!!!
That makes more sense. I just could not understand why she would mention taking her own life or fleeing to a non extradition country like Vietnam over a jailhouse call, knowing all calls were recorded. She never hung up after Charlie’s call was dropped.
@chrismason583 Since I believe it's a Zoom type of call charlie makes through a tablet from his cell I think she didn't know she had to end the call on her end to end the session. Huge boomer self own.
I call this divine intervention!!! What are the chances this happens?!? Keep talking Donna..you didn’t hang up 🙄So glad Donna staid on the line and kept yapping her mouth left and right. Love it!!!!
The curse was you Donna. IMO. This is what happens when you have someone killed. All because you thought you’re above others, wanted everything your way, and disgustingly manipulated your son to orchestrate a hit on your grandchildren’s father. Now you’re gonna finish it off by crying poor you. Poor Charlie. It’s all coming full circle.
Charlie was in possession of his own brain, forethought. He did this to himself as each member of the Adelson family, including that despicable Wendi. There is no “poor Charlie”.
On NONE of these calls has Charlie or Donna said "WE had NOTHING to do with Dans death@ Never a word expressing horror of what happened to Dan. The whole family is GUILTY!
Charlie was talking about Chief Mack. Hey Donna! How lucky, you also got to meet Chief Mack. Didn’t he testify at your arraignment? 😂 This family gets everything they deserve and more. I’ve never wanted a family to rot for what they’ve done to another family more than these scumbags. Ruth, Phil and Shelley are finally getting justice for Dan.
Donna brought this all on herself. Threw Charlie under the bus and protecting her vile daughter Wendy! Rob made a right choice to disconnect from this disgusting family!
Gigi.... every 15 minutes!!! BOOM new jail calls ... You rock great job!!! Donna and Charlie.... the girlfriend crying is just making my day 😝. They don't even get it 🙄 ugh!!!
Donna's tears are nothing compared to the tears Dan Markel's family and friends cried over the years. Together they will have cried a river, which breaks my heart. So glad they arrested Donna at the airport, and glad she too now has to live behind bars until the day she dies. As for Wendi, I am thinking more and more that this is exactly what she anticipated to happen one day, hence the strange police interview right after the murder of Dan Markel, in which she herself brought up her brother Charlie as a suspect. She laid the trap there and then.
You are another person who is operating under the presupposition that Wendi is guilty, so everything she has done must demonstrate her guilt. That isn't how it works. How about, "She didn't have anything to do with it, and she knew that Charlie hated Dan, and that Charlie had made a joke about hiring a hitman to kill Dan." ??? Plus, how stupid for her, assuming she was in on it, to point the cops to someone who could end up being her own undoing. That doesn't make the slightest sense.
@@slyjokerg In jail calls to Charlie, Donna read messages to him that she received from Wendi. Wendi says in these messages that she had doesn't know why her family are annoyed at her because she didn't know anything about Dan's murder and Donna says "yes you did" so... Also, It must just be a huge coincidence that she's driving past his street on that day.
@@Stelpots ---> POSTED: **In jail calls to Charlie, Donna read messages to him that she received from Wendi. Wendi says in these messages that she had doesn't know why her family are annoyed at her because she didn't know anything about Dan's murder and Donna says "yes you did" so...** 1. Bullshit. When? You people are very good at making claims and not so good at backing them up. 2. Even if she did, it could have been after the fact. 3. Even if she did BEFORE the killing, knowing something isn't taking part in it. **Also, It must just be a huge coincidence that she's driving past his street on that day.** I can't believe how many people keep referring to that nonsense. 1. Yes, it was quite plausibly a coincidence. She needed to get a fairly unusual brand of liquor for a "stock the bar party," so she went to a more sophisticated than most liquor store right by where she used to live. She knew where the place was. It's location was familiar to her, and it wasn't some corner "beer and cigarettes" kind of liquor store. It isn't at all bizarre that she would have driven there to see if they had that brand. 2. If she was in on the murder, the LAST place she would go is right past the murder scene. This is especially important to note, since, assuming she was in on it, she was so careful and smart about everything that she left essentially no evidence of her part in the crime, but, according to you people, she was so stupid and careless that she drove right by the murder scene, right after it happened, knowing she would instantly be the #1 suspect, since she was his ex-wife and in an ongoing custody conflict with Markel. That is laughably ridiculous reasoning. It makes ZERO sense. If anything, her driving by there is evidence of her innocence. If she was some idiot who did all kinds of careless, stupid things that implicated her, then it would make SOME sense to think that she foolishly drove by the murder scene after taking part in the plot. The way things happened, it is the opposite, if anything. Even assuming she "did it," she left NOTHING behind that implicates her. She did nothing else of the kind. That means thinking she drove by the scene is evidence of her guilt counter intuitive to the point of being nonsensical. What makes sense to think is that if she was in on it, she would have stayed a million miles away from the murder scene.
@@slyjokerg Yes, I am fully convinced that Wendi and Harvey were fully involved, not based on a presupposition but on the evidence available so far. Sigfredo Garcia rang Harvey's mobile directly during the first trip to Tallahassee, that didn't result in the murder of Mr Markel but was intended to.That is a direct connection between the killer and an Adelson. As for Wendi, Luis Rivera stated during his examination that the murder had to be committed, because "the lady wanted her children back". Paired with the fact that he was rather sure that he had seen Wendi during the first trip, walking outside of her former home, to let the hit men know exactly where Mr Markel lived, and the rest of the overwhelming evidence, I come to the conclusion that she too knew and deserves to be punished for her part in the murder of Mr. Markel.
No wonder she acted so shocked in court when they referenced suicide. Homegirl literally had no idea at that time she was on record saying all this. I would PAY to be there when she hears these tapes for the first time!!
She’s talking to Charlie but then the line goes dead on his side and Donna doesn’t realize that she didn’t hang up so now everything she’s saying it’s recorded 😳
She just stayed on the call after she couldn’t hear Charlie anymore?! This is priceless lol and Wendy is only thinking of herself and staying far far away from the family that helped her murder her ex 😮 just wow.
I don’t think she is still on the call. I think the phone was wired and has recorded her whole convo with her husband and the other two people present. This explains why she is so free and easy with where and what she is planning.
@user-of9qq6op5u Donna’s trial hasn’t happened yet and plenty of info gets leaked beforehand. I’m not sure of the timeline so I don’t really know. What I’m certain about is that this wasn’t a ‘phone call’ between Donna and Charlie. The call was very hard to hear before Charlie went off the line and then, suddenly, it was much more clear and even managed to pick up the voices of the two other people in the room besides Donna and Harvey. I think the press was informed that this is where the info about Donna fleeing the country, looking up extradition possibilities and talking about ‘suicide’ had come from. I’m not saying I blame them, just very obvious they didn’t get this information from a ‘phone call’.
Do you not have older parents? Grandparents? My mom never knows how to hang up her cell phone!!! It absolutely wasn't what you're implying! Come on maan!!!
@@angelalandgrebe6930 Lol I am an older parent and I always know when I’ve hung up. That totally not the point. The sound quality is different here. I’m not really that bothered wether you agree or not and ai may well be wrong, but it’s naive to think that this is just a mistake on Donna’s part where she just happens to talk about extradition and suicide on an open line to the prison ‘by mistake’.
15:20, per Donna and Harvey, Wendi lied when she said her attorney told her never to discuss Charlie. Donna then writes to Wendi “Everyone looks to protect you, I bet you have a lot to think about.”
God this makes me hate Wendi more than any of them. At least the rest of the family cares about each other. As morally bankrupt as they are in so many ways, at least they definitely have that going for them. Wendi only cares about herself, and would throw any one of them under the bus. I’m certain she manipulated this entire situation and implicated all of them immediately after the hit occurred to distance herself from the situation.
LOL. I love how you are "sure" of something for which there is no evidence. And Wendi did the opposite of throwing Charlie under a bus. Her testimony included claiming that she can't believe he would ever take part in a murder and other things that were in favor of Charlie's defense.
Another person who is operating under the presumption of guilt. That isn't how it works, kiddo. There is no evidence that there is anything with which to "turn on" Wendi. And there is no evidence that Wendi is being "so cold." There IS evidence that she is operating under the instructions of an attorney, and every attorney would advise her to have as little contact/involvement as possible with people who are already on trial and/or suspected of being in a murder that Wendi herself is at least generally suspected of taking part in. It is 100% normal behavior in such a situation. Her attorney would DEFINITELY tell her to not talk to or about them as much as is possible. There is absolutely nothing suspicious about it. OF COURSE she is thinking about herself. Who else should she be thinking about? Guilty or innocent, she can't do anything more to help Charlie or Donna. So wtf should she be doing?

I cannot believe we've come to this point. I got hooked up to this case after coming across Wendi's interrogation years and years ago. I didn't miss a single development, followed everything in depth. We now have a window into their private dialogues at critical moments, and the diabolical mindset of these people turns out to be way worse than I personally could had imagined. I feel like needing to take a shower after listening hours of this.
So Donna told dan Rashbaum they were going to flee and he basically encouraged it and said its worth a try Because he told Donna about the grand jury getting ready to indict her , that's unethical and should be illegal
@@JCP58 She was indicted and a warrant was issued for her arrest based on this phone call, so at the time Dan Rashbaum told her that, she was as free to travel wherever she wants as much as anyone else
They didn't realize the phone call was still being recorded even though Charlie's end dropped, and THAT'S what got her arrested? Best butt dial type mistake ever.
His lawyer is probably MAD at her for telling the world she talked to him about their plans to flee the country. Telling your son's lawyer you are planning to obstruct justice and then admitting it in a jail phone call is not the brightest idea! I would like to know if Daniel Rashbaum was her lawyer when she talked to him about leaving the country?
@@Seadog..C5 Rashbum probably did knew that a Grand Jury was being convened. And, the saying goes, they'll indict a ham sandwich. They thought that it was okay to not conceal their plan to leave, PROVIDED there was no warrant. And they banked on there being no warrant until after the grand jury. But they miscalculated. Again. As usual. The prosecutors must have been tickled to death hearing THIS recording. And it sure helped get the warrant from the judge they sent their affadavit to, asking for the arrest warrant for Donna. Still the FBI were careful to ONLY arrest Donna when it was 100% clear she was going. Hence nabbing her on that gangplank tunnel thing to the plane. Damn...Donna is the gift that keeps on giving....I really believe if that female friend you can hear in the background wasn't there and it was just her and Harvey in the room we may have heard a heck of a lot more damning stuff.
Yes, Gigi, I think you should tweet this out and tag Law & Crime and Court TV and see if you can get some national attention on this?!! I think Wendi needs to be further exposed!! And Donna saying she was involved in Danny's murder is a BIG DEAL!!!!
I bet Georgia is gonna offer a deal to Donna (an old lady) to implicate Wendi and walk free in a few months. Donna is so frustrated with Wendi's behavior that she might flip on her daughter.
A juror write something 9 months from now means nothing. Unless that juror admits to looking up things before deliberations or some kind of tampering BUT a verdict is made in that moment. Hindsight can’t flip a conviction nor a change of mind
@@joemamma416 I don’t know but you can listen and decide for yourself. How could she have just forgotten to hang up the phone. In my view Donna clearly does not think anyone is listening. L.E. must have gotten a warrant to wire the place. It just makes no sense otherwise.
Wendi is a horrible sister. Not even asking how her brother is doing clearly shows that she’s the master manipulator and a narcissist. Especially, her writing a whole paragraph to her mom in a “lawyerly” language about how she has nothing to do with anything is a clear indication of her having to do everything with it. Crazy!

1. Your position, quite obviously: If Wendi's texts implicate her, including admitting to doing it, then she is guilty, AND since her texts do not implicate her and include her denying having any part in the murder, then she is guilty. It is almost like you don't care about evidence and have simply started from a totally biased presupposition regarding her guilt and are then working backward and claiming that everything that exists proves her guilt. That's a neat trick. 2. Her attorney, as every defense attorney would do in a situation like this, has demanded that she not involve herself in any way with Charlie. There is nothing "horrible" about her staying out of the realm of a murder trial as much as possible when everyone knows the police/prosecutor are dying to come up with something to use against her. Duh.
@@caroljohanson2807 Very untrue. The police/prosecutors regularly arrest/try/convict people who are innocent. It has been later proven time and again. That is why attorneys insist you do not answer questions from police, whether or not you are guilty or innocent, along with not doing anything else that the authorities could use against you, such as associating with people who are already arrested/convicted for whatever crimes.
It's amazing the will of God. The self entitled self involved who had everything, were exciting about expensive dinners, vacations, clothes, bratty kids etc.. Today their joy and excitement, the thing that makes them the most grateful TODAY is Charlie getting a shower, and getting to sleep with a clean blanket. God does have a way of evening the score and knocking the crap outta pride Talk about a drop from a high place. That is one massive hard drop. Pride always comes before a fall. I've suffered it in my life I make much better decisions today. Praise Jesus
One of the many things that points to their guilt is if they were innocent why would they be mad at Wendi? If it was this ridiculous extortion story, it still would have been because Charlie brought these people into their lives. So I would think he would still feel guilty about Dan’s murder and what Wendi and the boys were going through. So them being angry at her , to me, is just MORE evidence that they’re all guilty.
Sorry I don’t feel bad for her. Maybe she could talk to Ruth and Phil Markel and see how they feel. It’s all their fault that so many people are so destroyed. Evil people
She says her family is cursed. I think it's more likely that murdering your son in law has consequences. I hope Wendi is next to face the consequences. Sick people.
What I keep thinking about listening to Donna is: Donna and Wendi wanted her grandkids under her control and did not want Dans parents to be in their grandsons lives, now Donna and Harvey are not in their grandsons lives. Charlie wanted to run on the gangsta side and he did and got caught and will not be in his son’s life because he took Dan away from his sons. Wendy wanted to be close to her parents and now she can’t talk to them and it sounds like she doesn’t want to. Everything they wanted backfired on them and now they are paying the price. Donna your family is not cursed, you wanted your way at all costs and you got it. Didn’t quite work out for you.
The state should have charged Wendi years ago. No jury in the world would think with a family this close, that everyone wasn't onboard before the hit took place. Now Wendi doesn't trust speaking with her own family about the hit and probably has convinced herself that if not for her family, she never would have considered killing Danny. It's to late now.
The only real evidence that I've seen that Wendi knew about it beforehand is the driving in the area at the time. Now... that is phishy, but doesn't seem like enough to be sure she was part of it. I am on the fence between she had an idea, and the intentionally kept "our sweet wendi hidden from this necessary violence."
Well the drive by PLUS Danny’s schedule, plus the first attempt at the hit and then her canceling trip with Jeff. A lot of Jeff stuff. The broken tv she forced everyone to use and didn’t replace or let Jeff replace.
@@Burningheartcelosia I always thought her book makes her look so guilty. How often does someone write a book about a crime and only a few years later it comes true? Also, I can't think of anything that happened since the start of this case that makes Wendi look innocent. Everything Wendi has said and done makes her look guilty to a jury.
@UrHusbandsBih yeah…the only thing that MAY bury her is the fact that she drove by the crime scene before anyone knew it was a crime scene… going out of her way to go there and all.
Wendi knew re hit and she told Charlie Dan was leaving on 19th. She also went past house and asked nothing re her kids if they were safe, never called the school. Ask yourself if you would react like that if there were police cars around your exes house and yellow tape. You would be frantic. SHE KNEW. But she’s worried because of the email she wrote to her mother saying I had nothing to do with this. She’s worried because if they arrested Charlie what if they arrest me. She’s likely pissed at Charlie for talking to Katy at restaurant and his reason for his arrest. This family will never see her again! Guaranteed. I do t blame her. As cold as that sounds, she has no recourse. They’re a bunch of yapping imbeciles and that’s why they were arrested. She’s even more worried after Donnas arrest. She’s literally staying away intentionally forever!
Wait so did she just set the phone down after getting disconnected from Charlie, and proceed to get all the following conversations recorded, unbeknownst to her and everyone else in the room?
She absolutely thinks their connection has been dis connected. People said it’s a zoom call on tablets. She’s probably not as familiar with disconnecting on it’s she is on a phone. Lol
Wendi set up and used her entire family including Jeff and then she dumped them. Wendi is pure evil and I hope and pray she gets what is coming to her.
And she didn’t realize that the call was not dropped on her end, only his. I think the phone calls are not only monitored but also timed, hence on his end it was terminated but the recording continued. These people are completely hapless as criminals.
GiGi, you should be given an award for your work on the jail calls. You (and any elves you have helping you) have done wonders with the audio quality. I’m a professor and putting in final grades as I listen, you are an A++/4.0…
Of course Wendi wants to distance herself from her family. She got rid of Dan, her family is taking the blame, and she doesn't want any heat focused on her. The brother who distanced himsefl from the family is the smartest of the bunch by far.
When DA offers her friends, she said rushed over to help, the drinks, another call she talks about them in a snarky way. She tells CA how they came over, didn’t even waste her time by asking for something to drink…. Someone, I think JL, said that all of the family, they go out w friends, are all so sweet, then come home and maliciously gossip about everyone there. Insulting, degrading, and almost evil & entitled. They look down on everyone. And you hear that in pre bump & post bump convos of DA & CA. It’s like the family are all evil Regina George on crack😳 I’ve never seen a family so fake, manipulative & so self center. I mean all 4 of them. How RA escaped I will never know.
When she is referring to Dan and his basically encouraging them to give their escape a try, is that Daniel Rashbaum...Charlie's attorney?? If so, as a sworn attorney, wouldn't he have to alert authorities?
Donna thought the call was disconnected from Charlie . It was still live and recording . She even says something like he’ll probably call back while she is speaking to the others in the room. At around 25:05 a male (possibly Harvey) says “whose phone is this ???? ..the call didnt end ?? “. At that point i imagine the room had a complete “oh shit” moment.
It just amazes me that they all had such wonderful, fulfilling lives. They had money, education and a beautiful family. All of them had great careers and they threw it all away just cause they're so entitled. What a waste🤦♀️. I just cant grasp what hell they brought on themselves.

Being the perpetrator. Playing the victim.
Poor Donna. She is a victim of her own life.. oh wait a minute, SHE DID THIS TO HERSELF!!!!!!!
Agree 100 %
she cursed her family. None of this would have happened without her. She helped put her son in prison for life.
Yes, Donna. It’s a curse. Nothing to do with your family’s planning and funding a murder for hire.
So B L I N D.

Yep, ruthless!
What if Wendi didn’t know?
Wendi will not talk to anyone because she does not want to risk saying something inciminating and being recorded by anyone. There is no way Donna is not going to run her mouth if Wendi is there.
@@abigailrose5993 There is no way that the mother of Dan's children did not at least give a wink and a nod. Why would someone like charlie take it upon himself to risk his playboy life without some family conspiracy. Also Wendi is not shocked to find out her brother killed Dan. There may not be enough proof to take to trial but there is no way Donna and Charlie concocted this with just the 2 of them.
@@abigailrose5993I think it's possible she didn't know.

Donna raging about Wendi in this call is everything! It sounds like Wendi is only out to protect herself now- she’s doing everything possible to keep from being tied to that sinking Adelson ship. WOW.
Considering the family is still slicing and dicing everything apart on recorded lines, wendi is cold and calculated and knows what she’s doing.
I wonder if now that Donna is in jail, she’ll flip on Wendi to save herself a little.
We know she's totally guilty so can you blame her. Her mother can't shut up, and her brother talked his way into being locked up for the rest of his life. Now going to spend all their precious money trying to bail their butts out. .

These calls are a gold mine of insight into the family dynamics
Charlie never says, “omg, how did this happen, I was being extorted and the jury didn’t believe me.”
Not ONE of them EVER says
1. "How can an innocent person be found guilty"
2. "But Charlie is innocent"
3. "we're ALL totally innocent"
what's more, they also never say
1. "we should have gone to the police right away, the minute Charlie was told who killed Jibbers"
2. "why didn't Charlie go right to the police? It might have been dangerous, but it wouldn't have been THIS."
3. "the police might have been able to protect us all"
4. "it turned out there never really was a Latin Kings plot, it was just something Katie Magnabua cooked up
5. "I wish we'd never met Katie Magbanua"
6. "We should have given evidence at the trial of Sigfredo Garcia and Katie Magbanua"
7. "We should have told the police when Sigfredo was arrested"
Not a PEEP about anything like that.
That makes it 100% clear that the extortion story is just that. A story. And not a very good one.

This is the most damning fact out of all these calls.
He never once mentions extortion in ANY of the calls.
Charlie actually does mention that in another call, to Brie, his baby mama. He spent a lot of that call complaining that jurors didn't see the obvious reasonable doubt in the story he offered.
Wendi is totally distancing herself and sending CYA correspondence. There is deep resentment toward Wendi revealed in this message.
Exactly! I would only be fitting at this point if Donna flips on her to cover her own ass!
In another call Charlie asks "How is she?" in a discerning and contemptuous manner referring to Wendi. Speaks volumes!!!!!!
I bet you Wendi resents them just as much. I would too after hearing all they said about me on wiretaps behind my back. They did not seem to respect her abilities at all
The CYA text is monumental

So the juiciest part here is in fact Donna Adelson forgot to hang up her phone from the recorded jail house call with Charlie when it dropped out!!!!! How freaking amazing is that! To hear what she thinks and speaks of when she thinks she's behind closed doors, it's pure karma here!
And this is why she looked incredulous at State when they say she talked of duel life ending with Harvey and her plans to flee to Vietnam ..

The subtitles makes this very enjoyable. Thank you very much!

Gigi.... every 15 minutes!!!
I'd love to see bodycam footage of them at the airport arresting her. I bet her face was a picture 😅

1. Bullshit. When? You people are very good at making claims and not so good at backing them up.
2. Even if she did, it could have been after the fact.
3. Even if she did BEFORE the killing, knowing something isn't taking part in it.
**Also, It must just be a huge coincidence that she's driving past his street on that day.**
I can't believe how many people keep referring to that nonsense.
Markel.
Donna says we won’t talk about the case then asks Wendi if she told the boys. 😂

Wendi is so cold, only thinking about herself and covering up what she instigated …. I hope her family turn on her and tell the truth .
Duh.
@@slyjokerg but if she were truly innocent it would not matter
@@caroljohanson2807 Very untrue. The police/prosecutors regularly arrest/try/convict people who are innocent. It has been later proven time and again. That is why attorneys insist you do not answer questions from police, whether or not you are guilty or innocent, along with not doing anything else that the authorities could use against you, such as associating with people who are already arrested/convicted for whatever crimes.
This call is the best Christmas present EVER! Thank you 😂
It's amazing the will of God.
The self entitled self involved who had everything, were exciting about expensive dinners, vacations, clothes, bratty kids etc..
Today their joy and excitement, the thing that makes them the most grateful TODAY is Charlie getting a shower, and getting to sleep with a clean blanket.
God does have a way of evening the score and knocking the crap outta pride
Talk about a drop from a high place.
That is one massive hard drop.
Pride always comes before a fall.
I've suffered it in my life
I make much better decisions today.
Evil people
Hope that 70th for Harvey was worth it! Terrible people! Wendi is madussa!
She says her family is cursed. I think it's more likely that murdering your son in law has consequences. I hope Wendi is next to face the consequences. Sick people.
These are fascinating. Thanks so much for posting these!
Well George will a state witness come September, he has to answer for the great computer work he’s done for Donna and Harvey 💻
not hanging up at the end is such a classic boomer move, and it got her
What I keep thinking about listening to Donna is: Donna and Wendi wanted her grandkids under her control and did not want Dans parents to be in their grandsons lives, now Donna and Harvey are not in their grandsons lives.
Bang on with your comment. Karma at its best.
Wendi was a nasty ex-wife and is just as nasty to her her co-conspirators. Even if it’s her brother and mother.
Yes … It’s too late … the real evidence against her is so fickle. Sad because she was obviously deeply involved in setting traps
Donna said that their family is cursed!!! You are the witch, Donna…you put this on your family… despicable
Thank you for adding the subtitle , making it a lot easier to understand
Thanks so much for the subtitles, it makes great listening.
LMAO! Donna has no conception of how the legal system works. Wow. You’d think Donna would deep dive all this like she did to Dan Markel.
Pure gold right here Gigi!
He must have sh*t bricks when he realizes the phone is still connected and recording. Karma doesn’t play games.
Lol
She said, “I’ll Baker Act you.” Not “incorrect you.” Baker Act is when they involuntarily commit you if you’re suicidal.
Wendi set up and used her entire family including Jeff and then she dumped them. Wendi is pure evil and I hope and pray she gets what is coming to her.
💯 She's the pot stirrer for sure. EVIL
There isn't any actual evidence that Wendi had a thing to do with it. You are talking out of your ass. Your hunches aren't evidence.
Glad he's enjoying the accommodations. Mom will too.😊
She was recorded on a jail phone call talking, and Charlie wasn’t even on the other end. Am I understanding correctly!?
Yes
It’s like the family are all evil Regina George on crack😳
I’ve never seen a family so fake, manipulative & so self center. I mean all 4 of them. How RA escaped I will never know.
She wonders why her family is cursed? THEY KILLED THEIR EX-SON-IN-LAW!!!!!!
When she is referring to Dan and his basically encouraging them to give their escape a try, is that Daniel Rashbaum...Charlie's attorney?? If so, as a sworn attorney, wouldn't he have to alert authorities?
According to the law, I do not think he can. He is their attorney.
There was no warrant on her at that point but ethically questionable.
Hang on Chucky, mommy’s coming!
Great Catch...I had missed that...AHA
I wonder if Dave, Wendi’s whatever, is now thinking WTF? How close did I come?
She got cut off from Charlie, but never hung up, so it kept recording her!! Cell phones have ruined lots of lives!!!
Did he think he was going to a 5-star hotel? 🤨
It just amazes me that they all had such wonderful, fulfilling lives. They had money, education and a beautiful family. All of them had great careers and they threw it all away just cause they're so entitled. What a waste🤦♀️. I just cant grasp what hell they brought on themselves.
Thanks you for the work you did on captions. Really helpful. ❤
