I remember hearing about his death I was devastated. Listened to his music since 2008 and I just shut myself away until I realized how bad of a choice it was. I'll never forget learning that my mother planned to get tickets to their show where I used to live as a late birthday gift but a few days later we found out about his death. Even though I never got to see them live I will forever love their music.

I luckily had the opportunity to go see Linkin Park live in like 2003-04 in Greensboro NC. They headlined that show with opening bands Hoobastank,POD, Story of the Year.. it was simply amazing. First time I had ever went to a concert and had the experience of crowd surfing. It was amazing. Chesters energy was unmatched and he was unbelievably talented and will forever be missed 😢RIP Chester thank you for all the music and wonderful memories. Praying for his family even still

Same here. It killed me to hear he was gone. And I also never got to see them live. I always just wanted to tell him. That I love his music. Means more then anyone could ever know. And it's going to be sad when Chester goes back to his home planet and yes. This song makes me cry every time. Not only is he gone. But I lost two little sister when they were very young just breaks me.
I got to see Linkin Park in London 3 weeks before we lost Chester....I was 💔 when I heard the news....but I have my memory of the night....RIP Chester...

I still remember when i found out he passed, i had fallen away from the band for a little bit and they releassed the video for their song Talking to Myself and i got really into it, i fell back in love with the band after falling away and then when i went to replay it i got a text from my dad asking if id heard it and i fell into shock and honestly it was one of the hardest days of my life. Honestly Every day passes and you are still in all of our hearts, we will miss you forever
Listening back to LPs latest album when Chester passed almost every song felt like a goodbye song somehow. Damn was I crying my eyes out back then. And now you made me cry again 😭

I couldn't keep from crying originally written about Chris Cornell now we also think about Chester. How both souls were taken too soon and how much suffering they went trough. No ones light truly goes out if we keep them alive and I choose to keep them alive, in the music, in my head and in my heart.

Well let just say a failure made me realize what, why, how I got there. So I see that he was in it so bad that there was no escape from his inner demon's.
Just need to have faith and have someone to communicate with, but sometimes that is just not enough also.
