This stuns you into a silent awe. There’s simply no words to describe this.
So many impressive wonders like this around the world! Thank you for watching!
Truly awesome and mind blowing, i've never even have heard of those caves. It seems so surreal, yet it is real.
Thank you.
Beautiful thank you for sharing!
Thank you for watching and supporting! 🙏
Wow! Buddha could not have been just an ordinary man for there to be such majestic statues of him. It only makes sense that Buddha was a god who represented an eternal foundational law of life that was even beyond him transcending space time. This representation of this eternal law of life was then sealed in stone as intricate statues embodied as the god Buddha.
Absolutely beautiful stuff! 👌😢🔥❄💫💖
The statues were added
Leshan is now on my bucket list
It’s a pretty incredible site with a very interesting history! Definitely worth visiting!
Chine ❤

I am a proud Buddhist after watching this. I wonder how much wealth East had in the past.
Quran
Q39:38] If you ask them, “Who created the heavens and the earth?” they will say, “GOD.” Say, “Why then do you set up idols beside GOD? If GOD willed any adversity for me, can they relieve such adversity? And if He willed a blessing for me, can they prevent such a blessing?” Say, “GOD is sufficient for me.” In Him, the trusters shall trust.
I thought this amazing video could get at least 1M views. What a breathtaking place!
Wow! Thank you so much for that! We hope it does eventually! Thank you for watching and supporting!
Thank you Bro for giving this rare video of Leshan.
Absolutely! We enjoyed Leshan and filming here specifically very much! Thank you for watching and supporting!
Wow, came just to see the Giant Buddha, but mannn, Oriental Buddha Park was AMAZING......Subscribed.....
Thank you so much for the support! So glad you enjoyed the video! We were surprised my Oriental Buddha Park as well! We actually were completely unaware so much more was there to see besides the Giant Buddha! Thank you so much for subscribing and hope you continue to enjoy our videos!
Wow. The I internet says it took 90 years to build. Construction started in the 8th century A.D ( 723 A.D.), some sources say 1913AD , with the project having many pauses during its completion.
just subbed....great channel! Best vid Leshan Buddha
Thank you so much! And thank you for the support! We are working hard to keep getting better and better! Follow me on instagram.com/wwolfprod for more current travels....I’ll be in Bolivia in 2 weeks visiting Pumu Punku, Death Road and the Uyuni Salt Flats to name a few!
I’m not trying to burst bubbles. I love the channel. I just read that the Buddha park is actually a park full of reproductions built privately in 1996. Adjacent to the Giant Buddha.
en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oriental_Buddha_Park
Yes! It is….I wasn’t even aware of the park and tunnels before going so assumed it was all part of the same time period, but you are 100% right! Thank you for pointing this out and for your support!
@@WanderingWolf absolutely man and I kind of figured that after finding that fact out. The art is still beyond belief.
@@kasonf2176 I couldn’t agree more. Sometimes the unplanned things I find when I get to a location are just as fun to check out as anything else. Walking through the caves there was really incredible.
This is what you call civilization!
Right!? Amazing! Glad you enjoyed!
Looks evil

Couldn't agree more.

Thank you for watching and supporting! We had so much fun on this one!
Wow
😳
Unbelievable
Namah budhhaya
Wow. I wonder if those statues were what G. E Kincaid saw in the caves in the Grand Canyon? Great post
Now that, would be incredible! I want to find those caves!
LOVE your videos LOVE LOVE LOVE. beg your pardon, 9:51 is that a swastika on that statues chest?! Had to chuckle. Carry on.
Thank you so much! Such a cool site I’m glad you enjoyed the video! That is a swastika…they are found all over the world especially across Asia. It’s an ancient symbol used by cultures long before the WW2. Still weird to see sometimes!
As I just found out as well doing a little research myself. how quickly history can change the ideology of a symbol that we now recognize as hate that once was a symbol of peace.
@@harlemslut All of history seems to be so full of lies it’s hard to make sense of sometimes.
Thank you for sharing my hometown and hope you guys had great time in my hometown. I agree with you that we should separate politicians and people. I am proud of our culture and history.
Thank you for your support! Leshan was such an amazing place....hands down my favorite stop along our journey through China. I think for anyone who ever decides to visit China, they will find, just as we did, that the people are truly what make the country so amazing and beautiful. I have never been treated better or with more kindness. I hope to return some day!
I hate to disappoint you, but it is the second largest Buddha statue, the largest one is in Henan province and it was built in 2008. Of course this one holds a much more historic value :)
Thanks for sharing! Got me looking into the other more modern structures that exist!
Wandering Wolf Don’t mention it. I hope to visit that one too. Me and my wife already saw the Leshan one. There are a lot of places we haven’t discovered in China yet :)
@@AhmedAminTheAuthor Loved Leshan so much!
Love from India
Thank you! And thank you for the support!
जय बुद्ध
Had to google the connection between Buddha and the swastika. Now I know it.
It’s a pretty ancient symbol multiple cultures have used
@@WanderingWolf Thanks for educating us. Much to learn we have. Jedi. Lol
@@angelomdi Haha....that’s awesome! I love ancient history. There is so much more than what we have been told about our past. Thank you so much for your support and interest in the content we are creating!
can you tell me who carved oriental buddha park statues in leshan china, is there any information you have other then Wikipedia. Thanks for an awesome video.
I am not sure who created Oriental Buddha Park inside the hills/mountains. I didn’t even know it existed until I got there! I was told later on that that portion of the area was created in more recent times but it’s still quite impressive!

Subbed! Loving the contents, I myself being a Chinese in the antique business would love to travel to these magnificent historical places in the future for such stunning sceneiries.. Woah, I cannot wait to save up and travel there once COVID is settled!!!
They truly are such amazing places! Thank you so much for your support! It really means alot!
Question : are those carvings and statutes inside the chamber carved on the bedrock or just the plaster made?
It looks like they are carved into the bedrock and in recent times. The original structure had no carvings. There was a lot of work going on where you could tell they were gearing the place up to be a major tourist attraction. Very unfortunate in my opinion when places are altered from their original state.
@@WanderingWolf yes, it is very sad they altered the original site. Thank you.
How can you zoom the Buddhist Statue from far above?
With a drone!!!
Hey, how do you think the Artists Created the carvings? I think maybe they did it at a time when the Mountain was softer somehow or maybe they had Lost Ancient High Technology to soften the Earth???
It's so hard to say....I've seen work like this all over the world and there is no clear answer except that it wasnt done how we've been told always that is for sure! 🤣
Aliens
Surrender to Buddha 🙏
Better art than Egypt ,,, but I not heard of
I saw a black stone head buried in the Sahara , this looks like his helmeted type, not buddha, which explains no ears.
That was to much and new!
Amazing is to small a word for this.
Agreed!
That's actually Bodhi Dharma
Proud to view a trishul in one of the Budha's hands.
And thank God Mughals didnot reach China. Otherwise we all know what wud have happened🙄
and people say there are no religion in China...
