    Quiz question. It was mentioned there is no GPX to follow but in the snow how do you judge the availability of the cut track they seem to be on? Or was that just good luck to be on tracks and now new snow? Did I say the same thing twice there ? How much time did you spend on cut tracks compared to fresh powder? I used to spend time cutting track for people in Norway many years ago, they all went to more or less the same places everyone needed them to go, Hut to Hut effectively. But the distances were very much shorter.

    • @jaypetervary5358
      @jaypetervary5358 3 года назад +3

      A GPX track can be obtained a bit easier then the old days with a little research and asking around but the race organization does not supply that. The reality is if you are not on a cut track you are probably wallowing in snow up to your waist...:).

    • @davidalderson7761
      @davidalderson7761 3 года назад

      @@jaypetervary5358 jayP, thanks a lot for the reply, so is it mostly luck that your on a cut track, or simply that there is only one way to travel and you pick and choose the best you can that point in the right direction?
