Welcome to another Paint with Me video! Today’s video features the peony flower in a loose style using watercolor inks. I absolutely love painting peonies and I find a large filbert brush to be MVP for painting them in a quick, efficient way.
The shape of a large filbert brush is great for making big, fluffy petals and is simultaneously stellar at making smaller, narrow petals by using the side of the brush. For finer details, I like to utilize a small-medium (smedium, lol) sized filbert brush.
If you haven’t tried painting peonies with filbert brushes before, I highly recommend giving it a go.
