    OpenIPC is gold! I'm impationate to make my own fpv setup soon. By the way I have a question. In this and some of previous videos image quality is not very clear. There is some blurriness in the image even in 3K. What is the reason for that? Is the lens not focused perfectly or is the bitrate low? I watched other OpenIPC videos from youtube and some of them look much clear. Any clues?

    • @mariofpv
      @mariofpv  7 месяцев назад +2

      It’s the combination of the lens I use and the fact that I’m always testing in low bitrate. You can increase the total link bitrate up to 52Mbps which will give you the best results. Cheers mate!😊🍻

    no waaaaaay! finally we are getting a truly open alternative to digital fpv systems that is compact enough to be used on sub-250g quads! after hdzero saying "it's open" but using hardware that can only be bought from them, this feels like a dream come true! now just wondering how low latency can be achieved. have been spoiled by hdzero's 90fps low latency mode :P

    • @mariofpv
      @mariofpv  5 месяцев назад

      We don’t support Raspberry Pi because they are outdated hardware with too slow GPU which results in high latency. They are not recommended for FPV. OpenIPC has 35ms low latency which is great for FPV flights. Cheers mate!😊🍻

    Its interesting looks better then analog but theres a weird jitter to it like the quad has a bad shake but it seems like its the video feed itself shaking around. any idea why it looks like that? also wondering about that latency test haven't seen it yet.

    • @mariofpv
      @mariofpv  7 месяцев назад

      Yes that’s from the bad PIDs of INAV. We call it “jello”. The motors are vibrating and the FC jitters. It requires tuning which is not the topic of this video. There are plenty videos for tuning PIDs to learn more. Other than that the video is much better in reality compared to what you see in my RUclips video. Cheers mate!😊🍻

Is there any option with smaller camera module similar to OpenIPC SSC338Q-IMX415 like in this video. Main board is OK but camera module should be small connected with cable. Any advices? Maan! Congrats on your work. I have flown analog for quite a while and was thinking about going to Walksnail (the last versions seem way better than DJI - for me it's all about color and image). When I fly DJI it looks like I'm watching a video on my TV. Walksnail solved this problem.
    BUT, HOWEVER, NONETHELESS OpenIPC seems to be ELRS in the beginning. I'll wait a little more to go digital.
    The only thing I got about OpenIPC is from @14:17 to 15:25. At 14:17 it looks like there is a black wall and then many braches show up. Things like these can be tricky on freestyle.
    Anyway, I think OpenIPC is n the right track to become an alternative.
