Always been nothing but impressed with the RM1 and remarkables support for all devices. The RMPP is a massive update and I can't say I have anything negative to say about this new device. As a happy Boox Note Air3 C owner, the colours on the Remarkable look amazing. I would 100% buy a more open version even with the flashing. I just need the android apps unfortunately. Here's hoping Boox is able to get those colours and backlight off brightness in their next device. 💸💸💸

Well, mine finally arrived a couple of days ago. I loved the rm2. But this paper pro, well , i think its just awesome. Use it for mathematics mainly. But just now reading a biology book. And then colors are freaking awesome. A great (expensive) device
I was looking forward to this product, I want a e-ink tablet to use for note taking (currently I use an iPad mini, it is a bit distracting) and for some sketching. The rMPP has too many “small flaws” for the price, I think I will go for a Kindle Scribe next time they are on offer, it is difficult to justify a rM when you can get a Scribe for less than 300€ if I don’t care about color
I think that’s his end game when it comes to reMarkable. I really like Kit, its you are making a lot of videos and money off the views of this device and have an affiliate link to get commission off the device. I don’t know but I’ll watch but something in my discernment tells me there is more to all these remarkable dislike videos….
Kit has his own particular opinion, others are available! I don't think theres a reason to be as cynical as the comment above but Kit certainly does seems very hung up on some things (like the colour flashing) that others like myself really don't mind at all. Personally I love my rMPP and find it a massive upgrade from the rM2. But I also love Kit even if we don't seem to love the same stuff on this occasion!

Other than that, those are just simply not needed speculations, while the videos presented Does provide the Objective view on the product provided - RM PP. Thanks.
After watching a lot of reviews, I decided to go with the Boox AN3C. While the color on the RMPP is stunning, I want searchable notes as a project manager, and I wanted to be able to have some book/library apps along with a basic web browser to read newspapers or even download the apps. For the cost of the RMPP it should do more. But admittedly I think it is gorgeous.
Everyone buy the device that fits to everyday life !! I owned a Supernote A5X , a device that I loved so much , but I sold it because I broke the pen refill 2 times and when I changed to fell write 2 I didn’t like the writing feel !! The I bought the RM 2 and i ve never wanted to change it (cause I wanted a device to write just notes) I must tell that I ve tried Boox Air 3 C but I didn’t like it cause I couldn’t write without its front light and feels more like an android tablet … less feel like E ink tablet to me

I gave the RPP a go, returned it but agree it's impressive. The color was a distraction for me vs benefit and weight and size not great for me. Return support was excellent so far (although still waiting for reimbursement). Agree on drag and drop in app. tried this just yesterday and shocked it does not work
I really want one, but it does feel too restrictive. I teach art, and definitely can see many uses, but it'd be nice to get one of these that is literally just open for software and app usage outside of what Remarkable has given us. For art would you recommend a different e-ink tablet? I want something for sketching and reading.
This is so funny, when the "Flickering" part of the "writing in color" is not shown on that "newest RM PP Marketing videos", why?) It's the Main Part of the Main Feature - writing in color :)
I do hope they bring handwriting search in a future update. I suspect that most of the compute for this will be on the cloud side anyway. It will be a super useful feature. Im coming from the Rocket Book which does have handwriting search on uploaded documents so im missing this.

I don't understand some of the negative comments here about your recent reviews on the Pro. You love Remarkable tablets, the 1, the 2..., you have said that in past videos and the reasons are the same as mine, they have got for many years the best writing experience, or drawing in my case (and yours), and I think you are making some valid point in your recent videos. I do not nitpick on something if I don't like it in the first place, if that was the case I would ignore it. I just would have kept that beautiful screen but kept the Wacom emr pen support, the new pen looks very good but it lacks a side button that I use a lot on on Rm2.
