My take on the Supergirl/L&C:TNAOS intro mash up. I always loved Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman’s main theme and it goes well with Supergirl.
I could not do better than this if I even tried. I've seen some good editing jobs and respectful nods in my time as Ytuber. This ranks up with the best of them.
Not simply that, but they were in the SAME episode and didn't share a scene. What a missed opportunity to have them both and not stage a reunion, I'm still mad about it.
This opening is actually the reason I started watching Supergirl. Got through first 2 seasons and now I need a break. That Mon-El separation was pretty hard. Also Calista Flockheart as Cat Grant...GODDAMN. AWESOME FUCKING CHARACTER.
I LOVE IT!!! I don't even watch Supergirl...(waiting for it to end so i don't have to deal with cliffhanger...already going through that hell with Agents of SHIELD)
Working with wires, and physical stuff turned out the flying scenes so more natural and that’s the beauty of it. With computers and software editing, they characters became all the same… like if we are playing play stations or Xbox. Too artificial.
Happy New Year to you too! I’m glad you like it! Your opinion means a lot to me since I know you love both shows. It was fun to make; there are lots of similarities between these two shows.
You can't fairly compare visual effects of a tv show from the '90s to a show from 2016. I think Lois & Clark had great effects for its time, but the technology understandably evolved since then. And if you go back and watch the pilot episode of L&C some of the flying scenes and practical effects are better then some in Supergirl.
My only critique about this would be in the credits. Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster didn’t create Supergirl, they created Superman. Otto Binder and Al Plastino created Supergirl. The only character used in Supergirl that Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster created is Jimmy Olsen
Oh, it's same here at Almost in Taxes USA are for this Writers of Mine, will return back in Taxes's states very... soon to know he's Really back in this half? Next 1 Months: Yet
And? They'll can wait to See. Him again With Supergirl DC - tv (Series) It's Kara Zor-El to her Super-Friends really are in Vancouver? By Tyler and Elizabeth too
The syncing could have been a bit better in the beginning with the logo but otherwise great job. I support this. However there is an error in the credits. The only characters in Supergirl that were created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster was Jimmy Olsen. All other characters used in the show were created by other people. Since this is based off of season 1 that is, because Superman wasn't used till season 2 when the show moved from CBS to The CW network
The "Based on characters created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster" is what Supergirl (the show) uses in their credits, I borrowed it from them, so it's not an error. What you wrote is true, but I guess everything tied to Superman is technically based on Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, otherwise why use it in the official credits.
This is so beautiful. T.V series these days have forgotten the impact of a good intro with music
Yes!
That’s exactly it..
It'll would be Forgotten to Kara must
Chealeax, a little bit Mo Dudes, and
Mo Dudats from... Melissa's cast For
now on, it's her DC - tv (Series) Time
This could have easily been the intro for the show, excellent job.
hhmmm this into is the best for this show
That was beautiful!
Two of my favorite things together: The amazing theme from L&C and the sexiest Supergirl since Helen Slater.
This was incredible! I loved Lois and Clark and I've liked Supergirl greatly as well. This mashup of the original style and this is just incredible!

Great job Aci! Very old school feel to it. Love it! :)
Thanks!
Fun fact: Both Dean Cain and Teri Hatcher were both in Supergirl at some point.
Not simply that, but they were in the SAME episode and didn't share a scene. What a missed opportunity to have them both and not stage a reunion, I'm still mad about it.
Teri Hatcher was also in Smallville as Lois's mother
@@dgurl88That was great to see but also sad

Excellent work.
Brilliant
Good job👌🏼💪🏼

thank you!
This was really well done.
That a Nice one, has a Lois & Clark style to it, Well done!
Awesome!
NICE!! 😊👍
it's give me a feeling like am in 90s
If they have done this for the theme song I would have enjoy the show more
Working with wires, and physical stuff turned out the flying scenes so more natural and that’s the beauty of it. With computers and software editing, they characters became all the same… like if we are playing play stations or Xbox. Too artificial.
That's cool
I absolutely enjoyed all 6 seasons of the show - IMHO Melissa is a very good actress & a pity GOTB is not going to season 2
Please make the Smallville intro with the Lois & Clark song
Amazing job dear Aci! :) As a big fan of both shows this made me smile! Thanks for sharing it with us!
By the way, I wish you a very happy 2017! ;)
Happy New Year to you too!

Haha, nice one :D
Can you make one for Superman and Lois, which comes out next year, 2021?
i am just so shocked at how much better the flying effects are compared to lois and clark...blue screen vs cgi..cgi for the win!

You might be right, but I borrowed the exact same wording they use in Supergirl's credit sequence.
OK pour moi aussi ❤️❤️ Océane maman Océane 😮😮
Twins. Dooh. 💫👫🥋🥋
Supergirl was not created by Siegel and Schuster. She was created by Alfred Plastino.

Király lett ! Amugy Rómeó és Júliából minden számot meg csináltál ?
Kösz! Még nincs minden szám meg a RésJ-ből, még tervezek párat. Most egy kis szünetet tartok a készítésükben, de még folytatni fogom. :)

The series was a pile of burning shit, but this intro was very well edited. Congrats, aci01.
