    Pro-Tip:
    If there's still grossness after this method, dip your sponge into that nuclear vinegar you just cooked up. Wipe down as needed. That'll come RIGHT out guaranteed

      ​@@PT111111 and she should have won. The woman was 80 years old and almost died. That particular McDonald's had over 1,500 RECORDED complaints of their coffee being too hot, and maintenance records of the coffee machine being faulty (hence the scalding heat of the coffee). All of this information was in their own records! That scalding, hot coffee gave that 80 year old woman 4th degree burns all over her pelvic region. She endured I don't remember how many surgeries and skin grafts, and because of her advanced age, it damn near killed her. Then, after going through all that, she and her family had to endure harassment and ridicule from the public until the day she died, because she won a case that she bloody well should have won.

      @@PT111111please actually do some research on that case because if you did then you would understand that she had every right to sue them, and McDonald’s was in the wrong. They literally started a smear campaign against an elderly woman and knowingly served steaming hot coffee to customers long before that tragedy even happened. But hey, it’s just America being stupid huh? 🙄😑

    The only issue I have with this video is he didn’t beat that timer. What psychopath doesn’t open it right before it dings when they are in-front of it?!

      Psychopath--hummm I think that is a little harsh. There have been many times that I have waited to hear the "ding" (& on the alarm when I'm already awake) but that is not s/s of psychotic behavior.

    yeah I noticed that I make hot chocolate every morning and I boil water takes 5 minutes to boil a cup 20 ounces of water and if you leave it in there it will mist the entire microwave. so if you leave it in there for 7 or 8 minutes definitely is going to do a better job of applying your vinegar water mixture throughout the microwave.

    you don't need water it will just slow the process!!! just add etra stron vinegar to a glass, boil it, let it sit for 20 minutes( u can do it with an oven as well) and u just wipe.

      When you say extra strong are you referring to the acidity? I have regular grade 5%. One woman had a 30% and it’s flammable! Or are you just saying add two cups of vinegar instead of the water mixture? Don’t mean to sound analytical. I’m just new to the vinegar baking soda natural stuff lol.

    That takes a long time and energy. Really you can get twice done just by microwaving your dish sponge for 30 seconds. It disinfects the sponge and steams the microwave.

    This is one way to clean an microwave and one has to choose what works best for them. I understand the reasoning in running the microwave rather than spray and wipe and this method works for me.

    Works well on the bottom and sides area but not the top area. Still had to do more scrubbing that was a bit harder. :(

      I haven't tried this cleaning hack yet. Wiping the top always seems hard for me. Hope it works better for you in the future. 🇨🇦

    Bowl may be hot lol..... BOWL WILL BE HOT!!! scalding hot enough to cause pretty bad burns be careful removing bowl and dont let it splash on you

    Hmmm. Plain water has always worked very very well for me. Try it before wasting vinegar. And yes, you do need to wipe it down with something!

    So what is helping make the microwave easier to clean, the steam from the hot water or the vinegar? I imagine you could probably achieve the same results with just the steam from the hot water.

      It’s the acid in the vinegar combined with the steam :)

      Yes, just steam will work, but it will take longer. Vinegar or other acidic addition adds a chemical reaction element along with the physical action. Just a little more efficient.

    What kind of vinegar are you using? I just looked in my cabinet and found only Mitsukan Rice Vinegar. That rice vinegar doesn't smell like something I would try for cleaning.

      You just use regular white vinegar.

      Rice vinegar would probably work, but not as efficiently and much more costly. Any apple based vinegar is probably most efficient and least expensive in most areas.
