In a word, "NO" you want the patina of grime in your microwave to be exposed to high and then low pH. If you mix the two ingredients, they will just react with each other and cancel each other out, reacting to a neutral pH of 7.

My microwave is at a high level so I need to use a long wooden spatula and a wash cloth draped over it so I can reach all the way back and the top.

Put a LITTLE bit off water. In cup let let boil for 30 seconds TAKE OUT CAREFULLY HOT HOT. SPRAY WHAT YOU SAY OR NOT. WIPE CLEAN PRESTO DONE.
