Thanks Bobby for keeping the donor awareness message going. I received a new heart 2 years ago, because someone cared enough. I am grateful and blessed. "Just do it" You never know whose life you might save.
Bobby Rydell remains a great vocalist ... diction perfect and still creates the emotion of the lyric through his voice .. would love to see more of his live work
I always loved Bobby Rydell..he was my biggest CRUSH on the 60s...his beautiful smile, eyes etc....he's such a wonderful nice guy in real life too.....rest in peace dear Bobby...your fans will miss you...we all love you...
This man was the greatest human being I loved him so much for the kind soul he was. I had a twin sister that passed when we were 6 yrs old. He was in Vegas at the time and another sister of mine went to see him and told him about Dolly and how she loved all his music and he autographed a picture to Dolly until we meet again.
\Bobby how cool of you to mention your donor by name and her donation to 7 other people.Really decent..So many never give thanks this way publicly Re-discovered your FORGET HIM !! WOW!! What a voice.!!
What a lovely man. He was very lucky with his transplant but now he is trying to make people more aware. As someone who has had addiction problems, prescription meds, I count myself lucky that alcohol was not one of them. Good luck to him !
Bobby, rest in peace! So very sad to know you passed away Tuesday the 5th. I believe I was at this concert and will always cherish this clip. You brought so many good times and memories to us through the years. You left us too young (only 79) I am not a fan of Abington hospital but wished you went to another hospital for you may have survived. I had purchased tickets for your June 11 concert at Golden Nugget but God had other plans. Believe I saw you last at ocean view casino in Dec 2018. Thanks for all the memories. I will remember you always from this you tube clip and your recordings. Rest in Peace Bobby!🙏🙏🙏✝️✝️✝️
I enjoy a lot listening to Bobby Rydell' records. They bring me such wonderful memories. By the same token the more I listen to his style of singing, the way he moves on the stage, 'his mannerisms', the more I see how much 'influence' Frank Sinatra had on him.
I am so in love with Bobby rydell He can sing to me anytime most of his songs it just seems he's so happy and I can listen to him all day but I am in love with Bobby rydell
So rydell perform a number of years ago Dude was slobbering falling down drunk and couldn't even remember the words of his songs I certainly hope that Bobby got help for the alcohol problem
Rydell. Came across him backstage at the "fabulous" Newport Hotel's 7 Seas Lounge on Miami Beach. I saw him up close and personal. He was having voice problems. Like an idiot working in the house band I said I have a vocal coach here and ... he didn't like that very much, me, not understanding he had the best vocal teachers on Earth at his disposal. Still, he came out and ripped it just like this. A most gracious man, like Franki Valli and his guitarist Dmitri Callas, never were in show business. These were working musicians and a working musician is a breed unto itself back in the day.
On this day in 1964 {January 12th} "Forget Him" by Bobby Rydell peaked at #3 {for 2 weeks} on Billboard's Easy Listening chart, the two records that kept it out of the top spot were "There! I Said It Again" by Bobby Vinton at #1 and "Popsicles and Icicles" by The Murmaids at #2... He had two other records make the Easy Listening chart, "Stranger In The World" {#23 in 1965} and "Sway (Disco Version)" {#27 in 1976}... Between 1959 and 1965 the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania native had twenty-nine records on the Billboard's Hot Top 100 chart; six made the Top 10 with his biggest hit being "Wild One", which peaked at #2 {for 1 week} in 1960, the week it was at #2, the #1 record for that week was "The Theme from “A Summer Place'" by Percy Faith and His Orchestra... He just missed having two more Top 10 records when both his "Kissin' Time" {1958} and "Good Time Baby" {1961} peaked at #11... Mr. Rydell, born Robert Louis Ridarelli, celebrates his 79th birthday in three months on April 26th, 2021... And from the 'For What It's Worth' department, the remainder of the Easy Listening Top 10 on January 12th, 1964: At #4. "Dominique" by The Singing Nun #5. "Whispering" by Nino Tempo and April Stevens #6. "As Usual" by Brenda Lee #7. "Since I Fell For You" by Lenny Welch #8. "Midnight Mary" by Joey Powers #9. "Talk Back Trembling Lips" by Johnny Tillotson #10. "Anyone Who Had A Heart" by Dionne Warwick
Yes Bobby. Organ donation is on my license for years. I have been wanting to donate my skin. Im 75 and my dermatologist told me that I have very good skin. I will donate anything even my body to science. Why not. I will be finished with it. God has promised us a new flawless body when we get to heaven. All one has to do is accept Jesus as their savior. I cant wait to look down from heaven and see a burned person rocking my pretty skin or some child with my green eyes. Anything I have is up for grabs when I die. I feel for the person who gets the part of my brain that love love loves sweets. Bobby had the best rythem he couldnt be still he made you want to grab a doorknob and shag . Bobby still has it.
So Bobby Rydell had a new kidney and liver transplant. My niece, 2 1/2 years ago had a new complete liver, the gall bladder removed and a new heart transplanted all in one night. They had to open her back up once more this year because the heart transplant had an aneurysm repaired. Today she is fine. She had it done at DUKE.
Muchos artistas requieren de estar lo menos que se pueda de pie por que padecen de sus rodillas, a esta edad Bobby canta "olvídalo" (ya para qué) también debió cantar "olvídalo..... pero a mi también" ha ha ha ha ha
Happy 80th birthday Bobby! Today Apr 26 🎂🍸🥃..Salute!

I remember our music and choral instructor harped on diction and told us how often it was often ignored. He had such amazing talent. I miss him!
