I have similar setup on my LM7 5.3 ..1 7/8 longtubes ory corsa sport and it sounds gooooood. Such a rich sound from the muffler and crazy how it quiets down. Makes my truck the loudest and the quietest at the same time between all of my boys 😂 they cant figure out how it works like that

I agree with some others, you do good quality videos with the editing, I posted a pic of my truck in one of your fb posts, I outta start a channel myself and maybe do a collaboration, I actually live off the same road Edgewater raceway is on, but finding the time to do it is another thing lol
mrmike 87 I hear ya bud. Shaneman20 does do a great job in the video editing, have to work on my owns skills as well on my own channel. I have a few of the same mods on my own truck that he has on his if youd like to check my channel. Perhaps Shaneman20 could share some of his RUclips secrets for editing.
Yeah bud sounds great! Currently got a 14 w/5.3 CAI/borla atak & so so leaning on slapping in some headers!
Corsa makes header for them now, a little pricey but I want them because they bolt right up to any corsa system they make for the truck.
Oh yeah, you should probably let your oil go through the entire engine before flooring it on Cold starts

Nice, I plan on the smaller kooks long tube and a black bear tune once out of warranty on my 17. I had swaincoated stainless works LT on a LS1. Good quality. I plan on catting my LT s and I like the 400 cell cats kooks uses. I want to keep the noise down with my corsa extreme s.

I had a GTO a few years ago it was the same way. I would cruise in 5th gear 75 or run 85 just to stop it from driving me nuts. I'm get a 2018 slt with the 6.2 this week and hope it sounds just as good as yours after a few mods.
Love the sound,I've got the 6.2L and borla attak exhaust, I'm worried it may get too loud with long tube headers....decisions are tough

Will you get the smells if you leave the cats on ? Or will adding headers give you the smell regardless you have cats or not.

I think the dB might be louder, but not 100% sure on that.
What's that on your screen in standby mode? I have a '16 LT Z71 and don't seem to have that. It's just a blank screen with the temp and time at the top.
I'm torn between headers w/ the Sport or Touring. I'm scared the Sport will be too loud with headers for driving about 40k miles a year. I don't mind loud, but I don't want to be pissing everyone off everywhere I go lol.

If you hold your power button on the radio, it will eventually turn to that. That's "off" mode for the radio.
I'll be honest with you. With having the header setup and the Corsa Sport exhaust, my thing was that it droned between 1700 and 2200 rpm. Not sure if the Touring would be much better, but it's worth a shot. If anything, definitely look into a resonator. It'll make having those headers and the exhaust much better.

@@shaneman20 Hmm...weird. Mine goes to a blank screen with only the temp and ditigal time along the top of the screen. I don't have the "clock" or whatever that is on yours.

Are you running catless? And did you need the O2 extension?
Yes, and yes. I think the O2 extension was on the driver side. Stainless Works includes the harness in their kit when you buy the headers.
