Exactly 10 years ago today, a young man gunned down twenty innocent children along with 6 teachers at the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown Connecticut in the chorus of six minutes. Rest In Peace to the 26 beautiful angels that were taken away on December 14th 2012. 🕊🙏🏻 (never forget their names)

FOURTY YEARS AGO, we lost our 3yo daughter to a drunk driver. What has been done since then? What will be done for these children when there are so many people willing to make available these weapons? I can't be optimistic.

This is still so devastating. 10 years later and the world continues to mourn the shooting murder of the 6 brave educators and 20 innocent children who were shot to death by a gunman with an AR15 in the shooting massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary School on December 14th 2012. 😔

The Sandy Hook shooter had to shoot throguh the glass front door of the shool what 6 unarmed adults stood there waiting to be killed. Then they were killed. Then 20 little children were killed.
Gun-Free-Zones = 100% death rate. The math could not be simpler.
It’s so sad to me that a parent like Mark, who endured such a horrific tragedy, now unwittingly acts as an obstacle to stopping the type of violence that took his son. As someone trained in advanced weapons, tactics, and armory in the U.S. Infantry, the level of ignorance displayed in the name of dirty politics is as great a tragedy, as it leads to more senseless violence.
I truly pity him.
And they continue to make money from it. Disgusting.

Except your hero fantasy never plays out in real life like you want it to in your imagination. There were armed personnel present when Congresswoman Gabby Giffords was shot who determined that they would have exacerbated the situation by engaging in a shootout. There were armed civilians present in the mass shooting at the movie theater in Aurora CO - who couldn't see or determine where the shots were coming from and would have shot more innocent patrons. There were armed guards present at the school shooting at Virginia Tech who determined that more people would have been shot had they engaged in a shootout. There was an armed sheriff on duty at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland FL who did nothing while a lone gunman shot 17 students and staff to death. Practically the entire police force waited outside while children were shot to death at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde TX. There were armed civilians present at the country music concert in Las Vegas who did nothing while 54 concert attendees were shot to death in the shooting massacre there.
Is this America or hell? It's your choice. It's everybody's choice.

I only have compassion for any kid or adult who died who was a morally good person but not for anyone who was evil. I don't know them so I can't assume that just because a kid or an adult was a victim that he or she was automatically a Saint. Kids can be evil too as cruel bullies to good kids. I only wish peace for good people but have no pity for anyone killed who was evil (if there were any evil people killed at all who were victims). Evil people deserve eternal hell, whether they be kids who are bullies or adults.
