    THIS! This is why I cannot get behind capital punishment. Too many Lamar Johnson's wrongfully convicted.

    That is good news and it was so sad that happened to him not right it all . But hopefully they can make up the lost of years . But he is free man.

    Missouri is a disgrace, I feel like he has grounds for law suit against the police department There is NO price on what this man lost, I pray he is blessed beyond measure. Sadly, there are many more falsely accused and incarcerated inmates, and I pray they are released.

    Such a marvellous human being! Luckily, although 28 yrs older he still looks pretty youthful and handsome! The guy who said he was guilty (albeit he did try to reverse this since 2003) has not fared nearly so well in the looks department.... Let's hope the Missouri judge and Missouri justice system that did this are reformed...

    Disgraceful to lock an innocent man behind bars for 28 years and not compensate him. I am in awe of how he can be so forgiving after everything that was taken from him. I wish him the very best in life. State of Missouri ought to be ashamed.

    This is sooooo crazy. I feel so bad that anyone would lose so much time and I don’t even know what I could do to help. But I pray that anyone who was or will be wrongfully convicted will receive true justice.

    This is not a victory, it is the happy ending of w tragedy.
    Someone didn't do their job.
    Someone lied/overlooked facts.
    Someone didn't move as quickly as is needed given that an innocent man was in prison. _Innocent folks should go to Beginning of every court docket._

    if I were him I could not live in the Usa any more , because Iwould live with hate to everybody ,and to live in peace with no felling of revenge , I would take the indemization and leave the coutry for ever and never come back again ,and would not talk to anybody even tv programs
