I want to share my experience with yoga, it may answer someone's question. I never did yoga, never wanted to, I had discernment that it was evil. One night while visiting my good friend who was also a Christian, told me she bought a yoga exercise book. She wanted to get in better shape. There was one exercise that she could not do, and she wanted me to see if I could, since I was in pretty good shape and exercised a lot. I had a check in my spirit, but I thought, "How can it hurt, since I don't believe in the gods many say yoga is involved in." As part of the pose, I had to put my hands together in a praying posture. As soon as I did that, I felt an entity enter me. I am a spirit filled believer, and at that time I was especially close to the Lord because I had gone through a painful divorce and had been fasting and praying a lot. I was very sensitive to the Holy Spirit. I definitely felt a presence come inside me. I did not mention it to my friend, because she already thought I was crazy because the Holy Spirit had been telling me judgment was coming. She did not believe me. As soon as I got home, I got on my face and repented and asked the Holy Spirit to cleanse me of this intruder. He did. I felt the release. Fast forward a few months, and I was walking along the beach with my husband one early morning. Up ahead of us was a woman doing a yoga pose. She was standing up and had her legs wrapped around each other, I think she was standing on one foot. Her arms were over her head, also wrapped around each other. To my utter shock, Father opened my spiritual eyes, and I saw a huge, huge snake coiled around this woman's body, from her feet to her head! It was very vulgar, as I also knew it was sexual somehow. I looked away immediately and we moved away from her to our right so that we would not be near her. I kept my eyes averted as we passed her. I am being complete, and totally honest with you. There is no such thing as Christian yoga. You can not take a worship pose to a demon and make it holy just because you call it a different name or deny what it was first intended for. It is a form of worship to Satan. Stay away from it, do not try to clean it up by calling it Christian. I subsequently read an article that mentioned people can actually have orgasms (sorry to be so blunt, but it needs to be exposed for what it is.) while doing yoga. That is because demons are involved and they can and will cause orgasms as you worship them. Please take these words to heart. Shalom.

As a runner who needs to occasionally stretch, thank you so much for touching this topic. I only do certain stretches for my legs, I've never bothered with the breathing or whatever other stuff, just the stretch to loosen up my muscles.

I agree with you on everything you said. As an athlete, cage fighter, & police officer, I must self heal, I use the term "yoga" to summarize my individual complete recouperating body exercise that involves:
(stretching/limbering/lubricating my muscles, bones, joints, ligaments, etc)
(Aligning my spine, Self bone polishing of my degenerative arthritis, I focus on proper nasal breath along with its rythm so that my body can enter the parasympathetic nervous system for resting & digesting
(This helps for constipation), I strengthen my lower lumbar spine through certain balanced contortions & holds. Many times our loyalty to the King Of Kings Lord Jesus Christ makes us foolishly prevent Christendom from utilizing functional fitness for healing. We flip out on one word, instead of simply understanding the benefits of the "exercise". I've done some praying on this & as a defensive tactics instructor & fitness trainer; I guess I'll simply call it "Self Healing"... lol, but I understand that we don't want to align our movements of those who want to worship millions of Gods & receive a Serpent through Chakra awakenings.... Idk, sometimes I think we've all got bigger fish to fry..... I assure you that God wants us to maintain our health. Its primarily up to me to relive my constipation.... Just saying... it's my fault if I pray instead of drinking prune juice or taking enemas, lol, TMI, but that's how it works.

Try a diet with more fiber. Whole-plant-based diet. I used to have major constipation issues and tried all sorts of exercises + activity. Changing my diet helped immediately.
      McDougall "Starch Solution"
      Fuhrman "Nutritarian"
      Goldhamer "SOS free"
Great diets to look into. Delicious foods

I think he said that we can do the exercises without worshiping those gods but at the end he said that it would not be good to do the exercise at all if we are Christians. Everything is profitable but not everything is expedient. Scripture also said if you feel like you’re doing something wrong then it’s wrong for you and you’re doing something you feel right then it’s right for you. I used to do a short video of yoga exercises because everyone says it makes you feel better makes your body be able to stretch and keep your limbs in good shape but then I heard a bunch of people are saying that Christian should not be doing it but I don’t even know the gods they are talking about I am not spiritually connected to those god’s I’m a Christian I love Jesus Christ and he’s my only God for me so in my mind I don’t think that I’m worshiping other god’s I don’t think anything is wrong with it unless you get into the spiritual side like chanting and doing all those weird things for long periods of time I think if you use it for stretching and exercise purposes in my opinion I don’t think it’s wrong God knows your heart...

The stretching that requires poses is literally a silent mantra to the gods it represents, that’s a form of worship.

I’ve taken yoga, routinely. And committed many thoughts to Christ and worshiping Him while partaking, and praying for those in that room to be converted to the faith. Outside of that I just did it for the stretch and core stability.

Study to be quite to go about your own business to work with your own to hands as we have commanded you that you may walk honestly among those that are without & that you lack nothing. Much study is weariness to the flesh.we must study what God teaches & study & study & meditate on his word always

A person might do yoga for one hour a day while others may spend hours and hours on their laptops, cell phones, and playing video games for entertainment. So which one is worse?

A moment of bowing to a demon is definitely worse than playing video games.

In my youth I used a book to learn how to do yoga exercises. Many years later I took a course in yoga at a community centre. At no time, in the book or from the course instructor, was there any mention of spirituality, worship, or religion.
Yoga can be practised with the same spiritual connection found in swimming laps in a pool.

This is where things start to get so crazy... you have to back away. Never been told to empty my mind in yoga... not only that we do Christian yoga... on RUclips. You can get crazy with this... religiously crazy. Should we have wreaths then because those are portals? See where I am going with this? You can point to something terrible in anything. A computer is some people’s God... should we not use one of those? Money is some people’s God... should we not use money? Some people worship food; shall we not eat?

Not saying you're wrong. But we need food, that is okay. But to those that worship these things are obviously wrong.

    • @arkshisha

You certainly haven't referred to the biblical references in this video. There things you shouldn't do, and there are things you needn't do. This one is definitely shouldn't do. Shadrakh, meschak and abendigo were simply asked to bow before the statue of the king. The easy way out for them was to bow down along with everybody and think about God in their minds. Yet they didn't. This is that kind of situation. Please read the Bible, and speak to God. He will show you that it's wrong.

For every doubt you have, do research. Wreaths originated in evil practices, yet the company who makes them won't tell you that.

You are absolutely wrong I love Jesus christ, and believe he is my savior, but you walk the life I have and then tell me im a bad person for seeking a psychiatrist, because i have no one else to talk to and God doesn't audibly answer me back.
