This is one thing a cruise is going to do, make sure you have enough food. Good to know a dining package isn’t needed while sailing on this boat. And it looks like those options were pretty tasty!
Wow, it's impressive that lobster tail was included. Everything looked great though and it's nice that you can have a high end meal at the included price.
I really appreciate this video. It can be tricky to determine which food venues are free onboard cruising now; as so many options are an up charge. This is exactly what I wanted to know. Nice!!
Wow what a huge selection of food and restaurants. It all looks delicious 😋 I would have to detox after returning haha The mac cheese looked delicious. The Mexican looked yummy too.
Wow! The food look amazing! So many options and variety to choose. It look so tempting and delicious too. You must be having big foodie time at the cruise
Ahh 😕 they actually recently did away with the multiple lobster tails.. you can still order multiples of lobster and filet, however, if you order more then one of either of those items, you will be charged for the additional orders. All of the other “non-premium” items are the same.. order as much as you want! Just don’t be surprised if you’re charged for getting two lobster tails 😉
@@cmunch7473 The change in the all you can eat lobster tail is not that recent. We know you can only have one lobster tail on the lobster meal. My suggestion was to have her husband order the lobster tail and she can have his since he doesn't like it.
Thx for the video because was looking at the cruises recently and noticed that the starting price can be a bit different if You keep adding extras and some restaurants were optional for an extra charge but I can see there is plenty to eat 👍
Happy to share! It can be overwhelming if you don't know how the cruise pricing works, but there is usually enough included that you don't need extras from a food standpoint. But for beverages you may want a drink package or to pay as you go.
The food options look great and so many options. The Mexican food at El Loco fresh would be my choice too, I love Mexican food. Dinner options looks amazing also. So good. Definitely worth getting these meal packages.
Thx for sharing. We live close to you ( oshawa) and started following you when you started camping as we are campers too! We are doing our first cruise this December out of port Canaveral. i know our ship is smaller but hoping we have good choices like yours . Royal caribbean Adventure. Hopefully we will run into camping this year.
Thanks so much for following along! We actually leave on a cruise in Feb from Port Canaveral so I'll have more info on the area shared soon 👍 We are cruising with Norwegian though, but the area is all very similar. And yes, looking forward to camping too and maybe running into you 😊
Food videos are my favorite videos. I feel like I'd be happy with the spreads that come included. I personally feel like I'd prefer to spend my money on shore to try local food if I'm spending money on anything.
I will be going on this cruise for my 50th birthday in August 2025 and I was looking for videos of actual included food reviews. Thank you for posting this video as it was very helpful.
My very first cruise ever was on the Oasis of the Seas back in 2019, and it was the vacation of a lifetime. They've redecorated since then, and she's more beautiful than ever. I will say though, that Royal''s food offerings have changed quite a bit since 2019. Food in the Windjammer was absolutely supreme that sailing, and dinner in the MDR every night was an adventure. Loved it! Also, lobster night at that time involved eating as many lobster tails as you could stuff yourself with. Contrast that to a Royal Caribbean sailing I did on the Harmony last year (after they introduced the new menus) and the difference was night and day. I did not enjoy the food offered on the Harmony. The Windjammer was full of very ho-hum lunch and dinner options, and the MDR was dreadful. I heard *so* many of my fellow cruisers complain about the choices offered on the new menus. That notwithstanding, Royal still stands out as my favorite cruise line, and I'm sure they''re getting their menus adjusted. Lobster night was just one lobster tail at no charge, but hey - some cruise lines don't even offer a lobster night at all anymore. Lovely video. Can't wait to get on another cruise on one of the other Oasis ships.
Thanks for your comment and sharing your perspective! We had previously cruised with Royal in 2019 and 2016 and our dining experiences were like you mentioned - much better! But we still enjoyed most of our meals though I wouldn't complain if they brought back unlimited included lobster night 🤣
Hi! Excellent video! I've watched some other videos reporting a very bad experience at the main dinning room. Such as delays, unwashed cutlery, "cold" meal, wrongly served type of food etc... May I ask you if you have such disappointments like this ones? Or as you said in the video, everything was OK! Thanks and again wonderful Oasis series!
We had no complaints about food in the main dining room. All our food came out at the right temperature, and nothing was incorrect. The only thing we didn't like was how close together the tables were!
It looks much better than Grandiosa MSc that my husband and got off on Saturday morning. The shows were awesome, though. Can you pls share your impression on the concerts/ shows ? We’re planing a trip in June/24 . Looking forward to your reply 🌷 Thanks
I did a video on the entertainment and activities. But overall the shows were amazing - very high quality and so much entertainment throughout the ship. The best entertainment experience we've had on a cruise.
Woah. You know if you dont listen closely you would have thought one night you and hubby decided to eat yourselves to death! The food looked really really good. How many nights was this over???? great video Sara!
It's highly recommended. Otherwise, you'll potentially have to waste a lot of time lining up. We had reservations any night we wanted to eat in the main dining room.
Great video - thanks! We are non-alcohol drinkers. Would we be able to get away with coffee, tea, juice and water that's included, and can we refill our water bottles throughout the day? Even the non-alcoholic drinks package seems steep per day. Thanks!
The Wind Jammer on Oasis Class are not large enough to handle demand always a line. The layout is not like on Freedom Class and other ships. It is usually a madhouse
I'm sorry but I have to ask this. When you arrive, are you seated to a table or you just choose any table and hope that no one is coming back to their table? If you get up and walk away can someone take your table?
They usually have a fish option or something like shrimp or scallops available or vegetarian dish. Lobster is only included one night, and every other night, you can pay for it if you want it.
Hey! Can you share how much it cost you for the trip per person from start to finish? Including everything such as gratuities, port fees, internet, other packages etc. I would like to go on one of these, but I would need to plan to save up beforehand. Thank you! Love your videos, liked and subscribed!
You really should have had Alan order the Lobster,....then you could have had 2. Thats what my wife and I do,....she also dont care for seafood,...unless its deep fried,....and then only white fish and shrimp
@@TheAverageTourist Its hard to even find where I live (Lobster), unless you want to empty your bank account. We do however have plentiful amounts of Red Rock and Dungeness crabs, which I catch and consume regularly. :)
Love the Oasis. Been aboard 5 times. Best food we ever had but when you exit the dining room on Deck 4 you are immediately smashed in the face with the disgusting smell of smoke from the casino which is less than 50' away. Unbelievable that given the amazing design of this ship they don't simply put glass entry doors on the casino. They have doors on the arcade, but not the casino. So stupid. PRO TIP: DON'T accept seating on Deck 4 !
Hi, I have read that lobster are not included anymore, is that true? We are going to the Oasis of the Seas in May 26 and can’t not find it on the menu as included choice, but has to pay $16.99 for Maine Lobster Tail..

Oh my god, I guess people will really put on extra kilos with such lavish food options as they cannot miss any. Treat for a food buff.
You just saved me a 117 dollars…. Was gonna get the dinning package…. It’s not needed lol
Definitely not needed from our experience! But of course it does offer so different options. We enjoyed the included restaurants.
