Thank you for this review, I’m going on Oasis October of 2025 , I just got off Wonder of the seas last week and just wanna see what are the differences in the two ships , I do see a few things that are not on Wonder, Oasis is an older ship but still beautiful
My next cruise is on Oasis of the Seas. Last was on Symphony. My only real complaint is about the complementary food. I've had tastier food in a school cafeteria.
I went on Oasis of the Seas last year (March/2023) and we went to RC's private islands in Haiti and the Bahamas, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands. Had a great time! RC is awesome! I definitely concur with your review
Great video! We’ve sailed Harmony of the Seas and currently deciding between Oasis and Symphony but for different reasons. Oasis goes to Aruba and Curaçao, which we’ve never been to and have always wanted to go to. But symphony is newer and goes to places we’ve been before. Having done BOTH, would you choose the ISLANDS you want or the SHIP you want? Can’t have both and that’s where we’re at 🙂. Would love your opinion as someone who’s sailed both (and leans toward Symphony). Thanks!
That's a tough choice! I loved Aruba and Curaçao and would like to go again. But I would still choose Symphony. There's always the very small chance of a port cancellation or bad weather on your port day, and with a cruise costing as much as it does, I would pick the ship that will deliver great entertainment, good food, and beautiful accommodations all week long. I most definitely enjoyed the food and entertainment on Symphony more than Oasis, and found the ship overall to feel more luxurious and special. Aruba was fun to see--you can't go wrong with either choice--but for quality ship-time, shows, and beautiful surroundings, I would go with Symphony!
@@SheSailsAway I appreciate this! We have 10 people going, including 4 “kids” ages 19, 17, 17, and 14. They’ve never been into the “teen” rooms/activities and love to just relax. Does your recommendation stay the same?
@makingmedicaresimple i'm not sure it's appropriate for me to answer that because I didn't take any teens with me. I don't know much about the team clubs or what's offered for teens actually. But there's a lot to do on the ship for everybody, including zip lining, Flowrider, swimming, all of that
We are going on the Oasis next Nov to Aruba, Curacao, Bon Aire and the private island; never been on an Oasis class ship (primarily sailed Carnival- and finally had enough.) We have been to the ABC ports previously though and can tell you Aruba is AMAZING; we did a tour with a local Taxi (non excursion) and it was awesome. Curacao was also very nice- we just roamed the general port and surrounding area but will explore more this time. I can't really comment on the ships, but those ports are definitely worth visiting!
@@veltg26able I received an email about 2 weeks out, inviting me to book. You could just show up, but you had to wait in a standby line, which they did not allow in until about 10 minutes before the show started.
Blood in the chicken doesn't even make sense. Did RC have a live chicken butchered in the kitchen. I don't think that could be true. They would have received the filet's with red spots possibly, but that shouldn't be blood.
@@SheSailsAway that can’t be true then. How could there be liquid blood everywhere from a chicken filet. If it is. You should have pictures and he getting a lifetime of free cruises
I certainly hope you told them about the chicken. We have sailed with Harmony twice, and just book a Holiday cruise for this coming new years eve. I was concerned about some of the reviews on her and appreciate this review. I mainly was looking for the cruise date, holiday and replacing our cruise that we had to cancel. This lead us to Oasis, only one that fit all those bills. We are low key so I hope we will enjoy her, but I do get the newer oasis's classes. I wanted to go on Wonder but again it was about timing and location. Thanks again.
I'm sorry, I genuinely don't. It seems to me there were two shows each day it was shown so that it would not conflict with your scheduled dinner time. I'm thinking somewhere around the 5 o'clock hour and somewhere around 830 or nine
Did you take the time to complain about the chicken ? Take photo of it ? less you complained then one would assume it was not that bad ! so as I see it your not being so honest if you did not take the matter further ! Mistakes happen (I make a lot of them lol) you need to give feedback so things can improve! certainly if food was not fully cooked ! (think a child could have gotten that chicken ! ! ) IF something is wrong complain - Nicely,

Oasis ! The OG ! Still love her !
I found black mold in my room, on paintings down the hall ways and in the Windjammer. :/ This as of 11/21/24.

Did you bring the raw chicken to the chef's attention? This might have corrected the problem for others!
@@janicestewart7546 I did 😊
This wil be my 2nd time in dece. My favorite ship to date
How far in advance do you book the shows. I was on the Allure of the seas in 2011 and we just showed up then.

Well… Makes sense or not, there was a pool of blood inside my chicken. Someone else suggested it was a blood clot. 🤢
You said there was blood everywhere when you cut in. I thought you were saying there was liquid blood everywhere.
There was

I think it was undercooked, which is unfortunate but certainly makes sense

I did. I hope you enjoy your cruise--Oasis has a lot to offer, and great entertainment! So many places to spread out, too!

Is she on the Oasis of the Seas?
What state did you leave from?

What was their explanation for the bloody chicken?
