How to change motor mount in hyundai elantra se

In this video I will be showing you how to replace your passenger side upper motor mount which is very simple and easy to do and save money.
Tools I use are 14mm 17mm Socket with 1/2 inch Driver extension and a Dewalt Impact Wrench
parts available at advance auto parts.

thanks alot for this i have same mount on my i30 2018 PD G4NC engine and i was charged over 800 for the other 2 mounts and i was told this is easy but i wasn't sure if i could but now I have ordered the mount and feel confident to replace thanks to your video many hyundai same mount

I would like to know when you use the Jack did you do it with the motor or was it just as if I was changing a tire where I don’t have to even jack it up from the actual motor I just wanna make sure there’s a correct way I’m doing this

Place the jack under the engine put a flat peace of bord on the jack that rest under the engine If it's not a solid oil pan

You literally just put the jack under the motor and give it a quarter inch lift to hold it up and in place as you unscrew the bolts. Adjust the jack as necessary. It's just there to hold the motor in place

To make sure it best to check all damages

I just changed mine out in my drive way using a scissor jack to hold the motor in place and trust me when I tell you if you were hearing a loud bang over bumps or any shaking in the motor in transmission, replacing this mount will absolutely fix it. Before fixing this my engine was shaking occasionally upon hard acceleration and also had a big slamming noise over certain bumps but only on the right side.. l Changed struts, control arms and links. EVERYTHING... still drove off with a clunk. Changed this one mount and car feels and sounds brand new. No more slamming noises and transmission and engine feels stronger
