The reason for the short line is so you can see it in your peripheral vision. I have tried a long line and it takes a bigger pool/lake to get the bucket in. NOT undoable, but so hard it’s not fun.
Hey man, I generaly like black hawks and this one is amazing. One question, did u make it yourself or you bought it from somewhere! Hoping for you to see this
This is the Roban 700 size super scale. My only gripe is the tail wheel is too thin, and the wrong angle, and where the strut attaches is completely wrong. Lots of things wrong with the tail landing gear. But it’s not my heli any more.
Nice heli :) But please use quality electronics and you wont have issues like this. Egodrift or xnova motor, hobbywing v4 or YGE speed controller. Also that castle bec pro is.... well i would not trust it even on a cheap 450 heli. On the long run its always cgeaper to use quality parts. Now i want to build a scale heli too :D
I don’t use those motors or ESC’s that you are talking about because this heli set up was supplied by RC AERODYNE. They may work for you and that’s great. I’ll stick to what I know works for me.
@@JestRR i understand, but according to the video, this setup is not working for you either. Anyway, nice heli, the most important is enjoy what you do :)

Wow the landing gear should be able to absorb that much of a drop, thats ridiculous. Needs a better design. At least it wasn’t a total loss. I’m flying 3D helis and I really want to start flying scale. Oh well have fun.

Dude, the video of the Helo looked pretty cool after the camera got knocked over, hopefully the camera didn't break. What is the point of carrying the orange thing for (I fly fixed wing) I was surprised that the wheel strut broke dropping from that relatively low height, but I guess all the weight coming down on it was pretty substantial. Nice helo and flying technique by the way.
That’s a Bambi bucket for Fire Fighting. That heli is over 22 lbs so it was like dropping it from a standing position. Not much will hold up to that anyway…thanks for the compliments!!
@@geovaniboothe1992 the motor detonated. Thank god it was only a few feet off the ground. Broke the mounts for the gear and maybe a hole in the bottom. Was fine shortly there after
All mine come as fiberglass kits or kits that are close to being done and just need to be put together and or modified to my liking…. To build from scratch, first you make a plug, and that varies in technique, then you make a mold to create a negative of the plug, which is used to pull a fiberglass shell from. Then you build in wood work to hold your mechanics. It’s a lot of work, but sometimes that’s what it takes to get exactly what you want.
@@JestRR Iv got a question. Iv got a little collective pitch copter that is deffnetly over my head as a beginer but i was hovering it around and doing ok. @@excellenceinanimation960 what you are trying to do is balance the heli on a ball. It’s constantly trying to fall off. How many flights do you have on it and what size is it? For the motor to just go is crazy
I had had it for a few years, maybe 50 flights. And Yes it was a short lived life of the motor. Kinda cheap too
Was it one of the mounting screws was too long?

Out of curiosity do you happen to know of a shop selling UH-60 spare parts? We are in the search for a main module.
Thank you
No, sorry. might try Motion RC
