Truba has 15 teams that he can block and of course, he would NEVER be selected by the Devils, Islanders, or Flyers. Boston just signed 5 star D-men. There are 8 other teams with less than $1 mill in available cap space. That leaves 4 teams that have SOME cap space to make a deal. That makes trading one of the most hated players in the NHL extremely difficult.

Latest trade rumor, Haula & a 2nd for Taylor Hall & Foligno
Unrealistic and dumb trade. Devils have to resign Mercer and won't have the capspace for that trade. Also, offense wasn't and isn't an issue for them
Def not happening. 1) haula has a full NTC, 2) hall and foligno would put them over the cap without resigning mercer and foote, 3) in 5 of last 6 sessons hall is a) missed 20 or more games b) only reached 20 goals once. The trade makes no sense, the rumor is garbage

Huala has a FULL no trade clause, and loves the team and New Jersey. Hall would be closer to a top 6 piece IF he can stay healthy but that is a HUGE IF.
I heard this rumor, as well. Not sure where it came from, but even though it won't happen, it is out there.
Devils will take trouba but you need to retain 50% and the return will be bastian and clams casino
