the reason people are saying the 2025 first is going to probably be a late pick is because in all likely hood it will be. the stats you showed for their defense and offense were with guys like hamilton siegenthaler hughes meier and hischier all missing extended periods of time. putting that into consideration those stats were lowkey better than they should be.
I dont see how the Flames getting bigger and younger for a 34 year old iffy goalie who didnt want to be here is a bad thing. Bigger picture is...Miromanov, and Bahl, plus Klapka, adding size, lots of Wranglers on the cusp of regular playing with the Flames, and plenty of draft pics on the way...Conroy was dealt a bad hand, and is doing very well imo.
