42% tax including gst + cess, 14% road tax , insurance + showroom charges, if you add everything it's coming 50% of total cost. On fuel government charging upto 50% taxes
20- 35 lakhs price for a Creta, Seltos, XUV700, Safari , Harrier, Crysta etc segment suv's is too high. RTO registration & Insurance only comes to almost 7- 10 % of vehicle's price which is almost 4-7 lakhs each vehicle. Market ran very high after corona period for almost 3 yrs. Now people can't really afford so much for so long
