Tax Collection comes under preview of the Ministry of Finance and not under MoRTH, hence unless and until there is any announcement is made by the Ministry of Finance the proposal remains vague.

Reduction on should be give for mass market cars
1) they will save forever more.
2) Made in India slab and Imported slab should be varying for hybrids
3) Range certification mandatory
4) premium hybrids should be kept out ad they are fancy ones and owners don't need subsidy.
5) Cab aggregator should have lowest slabs and they run maximum distances per day.
6) Insurance slabs should also be lower and taxes exempted for renewals of insurance.
8) Road Tax Registeration should be for 8 years.
9) Investors, MF investing in Hybrid and Etech business should also get benifits. This is to accelerate the system of manufacturing of car and assembly parts.
Road tax should be on Basic value Not to be on Ex-showroom price which includes Basic value + 28% gst

Goverment reducing taxes won't mean reduced prices. Businesses will just increase profits.
Similarly demand will fluctuate. Customer will not procure the highly priced product. Seller will be forced to sell at lesser cost

govt need to completely cancel cess on highbred and and tax should be between 12 to 18% max on highbred and plugin highbred

Most of the cars in countries like New Zealand and Australia are Hybrid, and these countries are developed countries , still they opt hybrid cars instead of EV
Gadkari saying to reduce tax on hybrid vehicals … thats good but why not he himself give an example by giving 25% toll taxes discount to hybrid and ev vehicles..this will encourage people to buy more and more alternate fuel option vehicles.
First ask him to reduce the toll tax, later he can ask the other departments to reduce the petrol, diesel & CNG price. At the same time reducing the high GST tax on vehicles & spares.
Even we are not able to afford 2 wheelers because of high GST .

Govt should force these companies to share their hybrid tech with indian companies like china did in past that how Chinese companies got hybrid tech otherwise it will b loss to our local car manufacturers coz R&D is very costly
I read it somewhere, this proposal is already rejected by govt and most important Indian brand don't have this tech so, govt will not approve this as this will benefit Chinese and not Indian brands.

Boss... time for get updated.. Conventional ev and hydrogen cell cars have inherent feasibility issues with their design concept..like green source of electricity and carrying h2 tank which is highly inflatable. Toyota has already made a break through in the water engine, which produces h2 in the engine and use it instantly..This is the future..(unless politics and influential unscrupulous investors in the oil and ev industry intervine..)

Only BiFuel(Flex+CNG) Battery Hybrids can survive in India considering CAPA & BS7 rest (Non Hybrid & Non EV) will perish from 2026.Hybrids are always advantageous to customers over EV considering the cost of ownership. Similary all vehicles sub 7.5To n capacity must be mandatorily made BiFuel (Flex+CNG) Hybrids including 2W & 3W from 2025
Until we get a proper green revolution which is not accepted or controlled by the top corporates we cant say EV is green( because the battery is not green it so much non greener on man power used for litthiu extraction, water needed to make Normal car verses EV car, disposable hazards of battery etc)

Such statement was in news in 2021 too but nothing happened. There is no concrete proof of that this is happening. Such video put public in dilemma who are about to buy hybrid cars but unable to decide when .

For your kind information, This proposal was not endorsed by Finance ministry..doing this will impact pure EV's and Indian auto majors are against this proposal.
This is a TAX KHOR govt don't expect any taxcuts infact you will be paying 45 percent inheritance tax in future.
