I'm still driving my 10-year old Wagon R. It's a great car. Low maintenance and good service. This is a very good advice.
Same, driving 14 year old wagon R.
Wagon R is a great car.. best for people & luggage
@@bijoypillai8696 Absolutely!
I am driving 14 years old (2010) Honda city V. looks new, 1.4Lakh KM clocked, car engine still new, going 170kmph, If you take care of the machine, it will always works as new.
I drive a 14 year old, 3rd gen Honda City and still enjoying it.
Same here sir. I have a 2013 model Honda City, still like new and good average. Bestest car.
Good for you
Well done. Probably you are one of the few who has or will create generational wealth. Only living well below your means and investing the savings for decades will make us rich.
@@vikyp989 lol yeah later he wont have age, time and health even if he realised to have a taste
I love reading comments like these where i see ppl manage to maintain their car for long
The best person on Indian RUclips giving the right car advise...
I purchased nios magna at April 2022 costing me 7 lks onroad.last month i cleared my bank loan and now I am tension free.manager was insisting me to purchase creta but i did not.i am happy with my car and it serves all the purpose.only regret is i could have purchased crdi diesel engine which is now discontinued by Hyundai because petrol mileage is less. anyways thank you friend for your concern for your youtube family. love you
Yes..my 1.5 lac km driven xcent crdi still gives 23+ on highway and 16+ in city.
Hyundai Creta 1.5 CRDI is still there, it has not been discontinued. But Hyundai people always canvass for the Petrol version.

It has to be the most honest video on the internet.
My thumb rule to buy a new car:
Your car's down payment should be as affordable as a small vacation, and the EMI should be less than your personal monthly food expenses.
If it's not the case it's a clear sign of financial burden and a debt trap. I've seen people skimp on personal care like diet, gym and health to afford a car.
Best explanation, value your current asset ...don't get obsessed with Lifestyle & trend..live for yourself not society
You are truly gem... Such a noble work...
I have a Honda jazz since 2012 , my car does not have any issue , I am satisfied, no plan to change till 2027
Well done, save and invest until then
Best advice!!! I have a 2009 model Zen Estilo car and after 15 years I have renewed its RC, but inspite of many requests from kids I never thought of changing the car.
waise ab to badal hi leni chaiye.😅
Bhai ab badal le safety naam ki kuch chiz hoti hai, 15 saal gadi nahi rakhna chaiye kabhi bhi
Good job maintaining it well. 👍
I'm still driving a Wagon R 2009 model..! its smooth, tension free ride but I drive it strictly in 10km radius! Of course this is my secondary car. Now thinking to sell it out and go for Exter base model.
It is very important to understand the repayment capacity. Being a Chartered Accountant I advise people to avoid cars which almost steal your 60-70% of cash inflow.
A very good and informative video.
Let's hope that people form a rational judgement.
This is really informative video... We all love your work sir.
Aap baki ke youtubers ki tarah aam janta ko sapne dikhane aur bewkuf banane ka kaam nahi karte...., Aap janta ko sacchai dikha ne ka kaam kar rahe hai.
Thank you so much....
Sir, you are the first person in car social media who has given such sensible advice. God bless 🙌
Salute sir 🫡 very true
I was planning for new , just after 3 year old car. But now u change my mind. Thanks 🙏
Best thing to do with an old car, swap the tyres and suspension for brand new.
That alone with just change the way the car handles, behaves, provides comfort and safety.
Sir aapke jitna imaandaar insaan Maine aaj tak nahi dekha..hats off to you
I saw many influencer and experts video, but you are class apart, outstanding view and suggestions, keep rocking bro😊
Very well explained.. good to see someone being very blunt and helping around people spreading awareness..
Now a days people just need face-lift face-lift every 3 months..not shure how economical impact people are dealing with
Sir this is what other car youtubers never speak about.

Corolla is actually a really good car.
Still using my 15 years old bolero with zero issues and very happy with it.
Enjoying my 2013 Laura DSG L&K, and done around 2.36 lacs kms done, but still using it till today, and dont find less features, according to newer featured cars. OLD IS GOLD.

Your videos are really good and practical
I drive a 2012 Automatic Honda City which I bought in 2020 for around 4lacs. At that time I was planning to buy creta or seltos for around 20L in 2020. After 4 years that new car would have depreciated more than the full cost of my Honda city. The car runs flawlessly and the paint quality is awesome till now. Strangely most of the parts in the car are Made in Japan and are costlier and better quality than the latest City. The car is in the service center right now for servicing and suspension replacement and the entire suspension replacement would cost just 50K which would be just 2 EMIs of the new car and then it would be good to go for another 10years. The comfort and peace of mind that I get in my City makes it irreplaceable. I made that decision by seeing a video of mycarhelpline itself, i think it was the first video I saw of this channel which youtube randomly suggested just a day before I was going to book new Seltos. Changed my mind to book right then and started looking for used cars and found my Gem which I cherish to till date. Thanks a lot.
Brother which site or store you purchased from? I am seriously searching one

On road price?
आपकी बात पूरी तरीके से सही है।
And this is only for tight budget people
Very very true .. don't go by advertisements and SM influencers. Invest in land, gold, MF.
Im enjoying Swift bcoz of traffic conditions and narrow service roads till my house.. as opposed to an SUV or bigger car.
This is pure gold advice. Specially for salaried class
Very well said. Live within your means.. spot on..😊
Best video sir ! Better to put 5K every month in automaker and auto anciliary sector, after 7Y will be able to buy good big car for free 🙂
Sirjee. Please make a video “when u truly need to change your care” it will be vwry helpful
The best honest reviewer on RUclips
Great, video. Cannot expect such a video on RUclips.
Correct sir. Falling for FOMO is not a wise decision. SIP in index funds give 14-15 percent returns annually. Midcaps go upto 25-28 percent. We should change the car only after using it for minimum 10 years or unless there is truly a need for a bigger car.
Sir, I see that you're only person who talks this way to create awareness in people.
I just watch your videos to enjoy your speaking style and kaisse hai aaap log sunane… but when I started watching found really really valuable content in this video.

Very Sensible advise and a great video to make for everyone in general.
I brought a wagonr 2013 model lifetime tax last year at 1.6lakhs
My father is an ex army he was about to buy a new swift through csd which would save me 60-90k but i suggested to go for second hand ..belive me sir that was a wise decision my father now praises me ..gettin 17+ mileage in city and 22+ in highway..people often make fun of our car saying tin ka dibba as u know..but i ignore coz i bought wagonr according to my need..i drive car within 50 60 speed and 90 percent in city traffic..we are lower middle class family we should think before investing
Thankyou sir to making this video.. Save money to lot of People
You always talk logical and this is why I really appreciate you for this. I own Verna Diesel Top 12 years old and it still works great. I also own 11 years old WagonR and it works well too. Have covered more than 1lac kms each. The only thing which makes your car old is unnecessary launch of new cars. Automobile business won't grow if they start producing perfect vehicles 😂
Excellent Gagan. Such a sincere video.
Great video... You are such an honest person... You always try to give correct advices to people.... I have a 5 years old Amaze.... Plan to keep the car for many more years unless some major issues surfaces....

I am using Skoda superb automatic diesel 2012 make, and still enjoying. Full of features and gives average of 14-15 kmpl in city and 18-20 on highway and very smooth for drive. On highway it is very best and fun to drive

Car enthusiast do not think of saving money
they might be on another Some Financial RUclips Channel if it is so
Life is one. Enjoy fully IF YOU CAN
No Offense. I have been following you for years
Excellent information 💯
Insta, RUclips pe aajkal influencers sirf trap kare ja rhe hai.
Logo ko naya car ya bike dikhao har 2 mahina. FOMO ho jata hai logo mein.
Thanks for taking this issue head on. ❤
Very useful information ...explained clearly.
@mycarhelpline What car do you use sir??
Sirji...
You are most genuine person.. giving genuine advice..
Thank you so much for sharing your expertise and experience.
Great 👌 . You speak the truth.
I have 2011 VW Vento and stiill running very smooth.
He is gem....salute you sir..
The westerners lifestyle is more towards loans, show-offs, fake flamboyance & fancy stuffs all on credit. This has spread heavily sadly in India. Simple lifestyle, debt free is the best but everyone is a victim of social show-off in heavy debts. The financial entities love it & is often referred to as the MONEY-TRAP.
great video Sir 👍🏼
I'm still driving a Wagon R 2009 model..! its smooth, tension free ride but I drive it strictly in 10km radius! Of course this is my secondary car. Now thinking to sell it out and go for Exter base model.
My dad owns a Renault Scala.. now its a 10yr old car, still feels good to drive, it was a top model at that time, and still when I see many of newer cars does not even have those features even in mid variets and I still have got it 10yrs back. Also he shares car with me in family..wheareas I am still riding 6 yrs old Suzuki Gixxer SF150 even though I earn good but that is not necessary to always show people by purchasing newer vehicle
I recently bought a second hand alto 2007 model it runs great! but milage with ac in city is 13 and highway 17 but for my first car this is good for my finances.
I have 16 year old swift 1.3 with abs still today it rocks no major probs no idea to sell n buy new one
What wonderful information there is regarding the indian car market & loan trap. The most useful thought is " Live within your means " be big in it to have a safe and happy life.😀😃😁🤣😂
we are driving a 13 year old alto k10. fantastic machine, pure analogue 100% control at my hands. best power to weight ratio and most nimble and peppy. wont ever sell it.
but a new safer car for parents is indeed a need.
Great advice and very much relevant
